I do not recommend Trendsetter. I hired them to tape some drywall, paint, and install tile. They did a terrible, amateurish, messy job filled with mistakes, and were argumentative about fixing them. All the drywall joints popped out 2 days after the project was finished. Joint compound was not sanded well in many areas so that the new drywall looks uneven and wavy. Paint was thin and needed multiple touch ups. Tile is installed crooked with up to large 1" spaces on the ends because their tile cuts were imprecise and they did not heed my warning that the wall wasn't straight . They messed up the simple 1/3 overlap tile pattern 3 times. They damaged my fridge, dishwasher, and tile when moving the fridge after tile was completed. They took no responsibility for this and I had to argue with them to fix even the tile that was damaged. They did offer to come back and fix the drywall at a later date, but I doubt they have the skills to do so and therefore I will not invite them back.

Ron did great work. His expertise shows in all 4 of the projects he fixed in my home. I have another project next month that I will be using him for. I've also recommended him to a few of my friends. Great communication, fast turn around, and he took care of my home while he was here. Excellent experience overall!

Ron scoped the work, played a primary role in its completion, and confirmed that I was happy with the result. He was responsive by phone and txt, and he stuck to the schedule. I expect to hire him again.

Pricing seemed fair and he was flexible with scheduling and coming to look at an added job requirement/issue - investigated a leak prior to repair and diagnosed it and added It to the job at no additional cost beyond the cost of the replacement parts. Mr Ron did a great job. He showed up on time. He took down and added sound proof to absorb sound. He added additional drywall replaced old wall. He painted and did a good to handle sound issues.

It went very well. I hired this gentleman right off of Angi to repair some water damage on the ceiling in the master bedroom. We had never met before but based on our communications back and forth about the particulars of the job he seemed to be earnest, honest and experienced. We agreed on a fee for his services which I thought was fair for the work that needed done and his performance did not disappoint as he did exactly what he said what he was going to do. He showed up as agreed and on time with all of the tools and materials that were needed, he completed the work 100% that day and looking at the work you would be hard pressed to tell that there was ever an issue. This work was performed at one of my rental properties and after almost 15 years in the business I have dealt with my share of wise guys and cowboys of which, I am happy to report, he is neither. The next time I have a drywall or related issue at one of the properties I'll be calling Ron Wilson of Trendsetter Home Improvements and I'll do so with confidence. I recommend his services fully.
