carpet installation, flooring contractor
 + 0 moreThis evaluation does not include the saga of them refusing to give my original deposit (a few years back) of $3,900.00 because I had been unable to order anything from them.
Description of Work: Ordered a custom carpet. Took five months, longer than the 3-1/2 months in the fine print, but that was not a problem. When the carpet arrived, they called and asked for the remaining money. Wisely, I used AMEX. Then an email arrives later explaining there is a problem with two of the pieces of the carpet and they would have those redone. Not a problem. But, when I asked for the final payment to be refunded to my AMEX, I get no response. Then a response to my inquiry saying they would only refund for the two pieces that were defective. I said the order was not complete. Today, a phone call (instead of in writing) saying they were not going to refund any of the money because according to the "fine" print, the defects were "allowable." And, if I disputed the charges with AMEX, I would never hear from them again (no carpet).
