Spiros Painting

Spiro's Painting did a lovely job, and the porch now looks pristine and clean. Moreover, we no longer have to worry about the exposed wood on the posts and soffits as a result of peeling paint. There were a few hiccups with scheduling, but the team was efficient, tidy, and true to their word about the length of the job. I would definitely add our voice to so many others in recommending Spiro's Painting, and we'll certainly reach out to them in the future if we have other painting projects.

We would, will, hire Spiros painting again without hesitation. Their entire team was professional and friendly. They did an outstanding job on the painting, paying attention to details, like smoothing imperfections in the wall we we did not even notice. They were great at providing suggestions on paint colors when we asked their opinion. The kept the house neat and protected at all times, and cleaned up before they left for the day. Our house has very high and streep pitches that they maneuvered like pros. We could not be more pleased with the results and have received numerous compliments. We actually enjoyed our experience with working with them and highly recommend them.

The management and staff at Spiros Painting were 100% professional from beginning to end. They responded immediately to my request for an estimate. They had someone come out to look at the project site the next day. I had called another painting company who told me that they could not provide an estimate unless I assured them that I would sign a contract within 30 days. Spiros made no such stipulation. Spiros began the work about a week after I accepted their proposal. This was partly to accommodate own my schedule; they could have started earlier. The rear wall of the house is difficult to access, but Spiros was able to deal with the situation without bringing in any special equipment. They scraped and patched the wall thoroughly. I have had experiences with painters in the past whose scraping amounted to a light rubdown. Spiros was very conscientious about removing ALL of the peeling paint. The company was patient with me when I changed my mind a couple of times before the work started, about the color I wanted. The work was finished in two days, partly because it was interrupted by rain. The company cleaned up thoroughly after the job was done. I'm very pleased with the work and the workmanship.

The team at Spiros was great to work with. They did a fantastic job painting a couple rooms in my home and made it happen in record time. Moreover, after finalizing a service agreement, they even squeezed the job into their schedule just 2 days later. Would certainly recommend to others.

I left an earlier review with a grade of C as no followup was made to setting an appointment and no response to my subsequent inquiry. I have since heard from this small family owned company and received an apology. I understand that serious family matters prevented a timely response. I will definitely try them again later in the year for some projected interior painting.

The price was very reasonable and their attention to detail was incredible. They finished in under 2 days and even came back a third day when I wasn’t happy with the color in the basement (I originally asked them to simply touch up, but the paint didn’t match).

Excellent painters. I hired them to paint the main areas of my house and was delighted with their work. Then added another area, as well as the outside of the house. Mr. Spiro was on the job himself. He is a perfectionist and he and his crew made the house look brand new. They were also very neat about their work, no spilling or even over runs from one area to another. I can't praise them enough. I only wish I could hire them in my new residence in Florida.

We had a fabulous experience with Spiro's. Spiro and his son, Dionysios, came out to my at the scheduled time for a free estimate, went over my expectations and their suggestions in detail, and provided a quote. The price was little more than I originally hoped to pay for painting, but after going over all the work that would have to be done because of the space and different materials in the room (for example, prepping/sanding of shelves), it seemed fair. In fact, I don't think I would have gotten a much better price from anyone else who would have done the job right. They were able to come to my house less than a week after providing the quote, and showed up on time with a team of three (Spiro, Jose, and Leo). They got the whole job done in one day and it looks AMAZING. My basement, which previously looked like a half-finished dungeon, now looks light and airy, and like a cozy, finished space that we can use as a den/playroom. It's amazing what a really good paint job can do! They even got my bookshelves (which had been partially destroyed by the waterproofers who had to jackhammer through the floor underneath them) looking great again. They were such a nice team of guys and on top of that, Spiro insisted that we try some of his delicious homemade Greek lunch with us, which was delicious. My 1 year old twins gobbled up that phyllo dish so fast, they barely came up for air! I would absolutely hire this company again for painting. They were professional, warm and friendly, and extremely skilled. Thanks, guys!

It was very difficult to communicate with this company and get an estimate and the service scheduled. I felt pressured to let them come do part of the work when no one would be home as if to "get the job over with". But, I insisted on being there to make sure the right colors were picked up, etc. It was a challenge to get things scheduled. I contacted this company via email to get an estimate. I received a response the next day about getting an estimate the following week. I responded the next day indicating that I was OK with doing the estimate. I never heard a response until 10 days from the original response. I indicated that I was still interested in doing the estimate. Another 7 days passed until I heard a response. Now, because of my troubles, they did offer a discount, but it still grew difficult to schedule the service. After the job was completed, I had to contact them again because the work crew did not leave the extra paint that I paid for. Again, I waited a few days to receive a response, and got the paint back after a total of 4 days from contacting them about that. The check I wrote was made out to the person I had been emailing, and not the company. That seems a little fishy. The actual painting itself was done in a short amount of time and was of very high quality. However, the issue I had with communications and scheduling of the appointment would make me look elsewhere next time. Their price was pretty good, as was the quality. Maybe the scheduling / communication issues I had were an anomaly, who knows.

The estimate was a bit on the high side for our budget. Dionysios and his father came out to the property and were professional in evaluating the project scope. Also, the estimate was sent to us in a timely manner. Though the community board decided to go with a different vendor for this specific project, we would have no problems in reaching out to Spiros Painting for future work.

It was great. Spiro and Dionysios did and amazing job. I contracted them to not only paint but to patch the walls and and clean up the door. They went above and beyond. In fact, they even fixed the door frame that was rotting even though it was not in their contract. I have used many painters before and these guys are the best I ever had.

Dionysios was very responsive, and flexible in coming out quickly to give us a quote for the work. The quote was fair, and based on their reviews on Angies List, very tempting. While we ultimately ended up going with another team due to a friend's personal experience recommendation, I thought Spiros showed themselves to be very professional, and we would definitely consider them again in the future.

Spiro and his crew (brother, son, friend) are top-notch professionals! Spiro has a keen eye for EVERY detail and ensures that his team shares his vision. His son, Dionysios, is very responsive via email and text. They are VERY easy to book for the initial estimate (on-time, courteous), they came back for a re-check of paint colors and job specifications, then showed up on-time, set-up their work space and carefully moved the furniture (e.g. all 4 moved my king bed to ensure that the support beams were not damaged). Not only is the job PERFECT, but they are neat, clean, organized, respectful AND......totally delightful - a real joy to be around and watch them work (there's dancing, singing, joking and kidding, and they bought ME a gyro and lemon soup lunch!). Spiro's Painting was professional and craftsmanlike on a job that wasn't easy: an old house with different kinds of windows and shutters attached more than one way, some of them damaged. As well as being skilled and systematic in their work, they were neat, considerate, and communicative. They understood the importance of preparation. End result: the house looks great. They even threw in a few small jobs not in contract--removing house numbers, painting a foot scaper. The painting took place about three months after the date I originally expected, but that's the way it often is with weather-dependent work and when contractors have to fit different jobs together, and I was kept informed.

Spiros Painting did a great job. They responded to my inquiry the next day and came out to my house on a Saturday and give me a quote. They completed the job the following week in about half a day. They were clean, replaced some rotted wood, caulked seams, sanded, removed the shutters from the house to paint them and rehung them and removed fixtures to paint and put them back. In the past, I hired painters that weren't nearly as professional and the results were poor. Spiros Painting was very reasonably priced and did a fantastic job. I will definitely hire them again.

Dionysios and his crew did great work, and they were quick as well. They did a ton of surface prep work (spackling, sanding, etc) to get our house's walls smoother than they've probably ever been. Plus they were very communicative.

Service was great. The father/son team were responsive, attentive to detail, and very well priced. A team of five painters completed the job in 1.5 days. Overall, a great experience.

I called this company in September to come back out and fix my hallway wall where they sealed it and painted it. The wall has cracks again the son advised me they are working a job on the eastern shore and that they would take care of it when they got back. I have called them a few time since the time they said they would be back and I have gotten no response.
