Description of Work: Measurement was carefully checked by the installer. He suggested a radically simpler installation with fewer drawers but captured much more space. The cost dropped in half and we ended up with a much better solution. I could not think that Warren and Candy could do what they did, and a great decrease in cost. Very professional, kind and high performing team.

+ 0 moreBeware the Big Deal! I purchased a Big Deal of $199 for $500 of cabinet glideouts. The salesperson told me it wasn't worth their time for them to do one cabinet. Furthermore, I had him price a number of cabinets and the prices were through the ceiling. The first glideout alone, a small 8.5" wide cabinet, would have cost close to $500, therefore using up my entire Big Deal on one drawer. Despite the reviews implying the average drawer cost around $200, this wasn't my experience. The second cabinet I had him quote was a corner base, which would have cost around $2200. He was reluctant to price a drawer-in-a-drawer or a kitchen sink tilt-out. Once he realized that mine was a small job, I think he was reluctant to do any work for me. I subsequently called my own contractor, and he is custom building a glideout for my little 8.5" cabinet, for the price of $75, total. Before you purchase any Big Deal for this company, get a quote! It might not be worth your money in the long run.

Description of Work: First of all, I love this product. The pull-out shelves are good quality, the measurement and installation were excellent, and I have been very pleased with the performance. | |HOWEVER, doing business with the Shelf Genie company was the worst experience I have ever had in home improvement. | |The sales guy came, I chose my shelves, and gave him a $485.00 deposit check. Two weeks later, I received a call from a collection agency, who informed me that I owed them $485.00. I have never dealt with a collection agency, and my credit is first-rate; I was stunned by this and had no idea what was going on. It turned out that the sales guy "scanned" the check incorrectly, so it appeared that the invoice was not paid. Instead of double-checking their own work or contacting me, Shelf Genie referred it directly to a collector. I had to pay the collector or risk ruining my credit rating, because of Shelf Genie's mistake. | |At no time did Shelf Genie management offer to speed up my order, give me a discount, or otherwise make any type of reparations. They never even bothered to send me a letter of apology. | |Six months after the installation and all balances being paid, Shelf Genie sent me an invoice for the $485.00! They still hadn't figured out that their collector had the money! | |I'm giving Shelf Genie a C-rating, because the product in an A, but the company is an F.

+ 1 moreThe service was fine. The service was costly but I needed the work done. The cost comes out to about $200 per shelf. They did a nice job with the shelves and I like the product. The shelves seems pretty durable. The came on time and did a neat job.

Description of Work: They put in sliding shelves in my cabinets. They also converted two cabinets into doubles. They also did that same thing to my bathroom vanity.
