I noticed some termites swarming near the house. On the day of inspection, Ronald did confirm that those were termites, explained that the main problem is not the ones who fly, but those that live in the ground. He inspected the house to make sure there were none inside. All my questions were answered, everything was explained. On the day of the appointment, technician Andre was on time. He explained what he was going to do. He was very efficient, but took his time to do everything properly. 'Trenching' means that he needed to dig a little trench around the house and fill it with the stuff that will keep termites from even thinking about getting close. I appreciated it that Andre treated the property, including the flower beds, with respect. He was also very knowledgeable; he explained that Termidor will stay in the ground for a long time and described the needed precautions if there are pets or small kids around. I received a follow-up call to check that everything went well; and in a little over a month, there is nothing swarming or crawling.

We had a wonderful experience with RPC & Services. Sharon first scheduled our appointment and gave us a time window. She quickly got us a next day appointment and even phoned us when our agent was on his way. The RPC team was the epitome of professionalism and excellence. Our agent, Paul, went above and beyond. He was warm, kind, knowledgeable and answered any questions. If we need further service, we would call RPC back in a heartbeat. They couldn't have been better! Thank you for the service!

The technician was punctual, knowledgeable, and provided quality service. I would recommend this company to anyone!

A small trench was dug around the perimeter of the property and the chemical was placed inside. For any hard to reach spots, such as under a deck, a hose was used to apply the chemical as well. As noted above, I would highly recommend RPC for this or any other pest control service as we have used them twice in three years, first for mice and now for a preventive termite treatment as our home warranty just expired. I am not affiliated with this company and this is an honest review from a proactive consumer. While price is important, you will not find a better provider at any price, but on our experiences.

Mr. Jamal introduced himself. Asked me what kind of problems we were having. I explained the problem to Mr. Jamal. He asked to look around the house, which I allowed. He started on the first floor and worked his way to the basement. Walked and looked around the house. I had shown him some of my patch jobs and he said that they looked good. He explained what type of service that he was going to do. I was very happy with attitude. Very friendly and he was always smiling. We continued to the backyard where he recognized the problem. He sealed all the holes with steel wool and cement. He laid bait traps. He explained that they will come back and service the house every month until we didn't want them back. I would refer them to any and every one. Thanks for the wonderful job. Will be in contact.

Very nice people and very responsive. They came back immediately when I complained about the bricks and removed the globs. I expected the contractor to check the house on the inside (behind refrigerator and stove) and fill holes if any where found but the check did not occur. Perhaps if I had asked him to check behind appliances he would have done so. However I expected that to automatically happen because I could have set mouse traps myself. If all you need are traps placed around your house, then this is the company to call.

It didn't turn out very good. I was disappointed, it was a special deal, and we thought we would have a significant reduction to the problem if not, completely eliminate it. They tried to rope us into an ongoing service for a couple of months after the initial visit. It was a surprise and wasn't something that we intended to do. We wanted to take care of the problem once and for all at one time. We still have the problem, and after a month and a half, we still have rodents in our house. They came out once after we purchased the big deal. They came out within a week, after the purchase. They were able to fit us in right away. That was nice of them to make the accommodations for us. They put down some bait stations, the catch was though, they were going to do all of this on one occasion, and not come by for follow-up. If they were going to come back for a follow-up, it was going to be an additional $50. The recommendation was for a follow-up for a couple of months, and to sign-up for an additional service contract, but we didn't want anything to do with that. We tried them out for a month and it didn't really improve the situation. They received good reviews from other people that have worked with them, I was surprised that no one mentioned the service contract. I didn't think it was that professional to advertise one thing, and want us to do something else. The area's where they said they were coming in, actually wasn't. Their solution was to take the brick facade and put cement where they could fit through. It looks awful. That was another area that I was upset about. The area of activity is in the shed. I am trying to take care of it on my own, so that I don't keep pouring money into a company that doesn't deliver. They are way overpriced, the product was probably $50. They did come out and do the work, and fit us into the schedule right away. We weren't happy with the quality of the work, or the unethical presentation of a contract. The woman on the phone wasn't very professional. They were punctual. They were calling me up during my work hours consistently for the package. They called me for a week, then finally called me after work hours, and that was when I was able to talk to them. It was inappropriate, the way they operate.

It was a disaster. We had people here waiting for him to come and he goes to the wrong house on the wrong day and then I called the office to complain and the secretary had the nerve to say oh he's just been to your house, I think I would known if he had been there. She finally straightened it out, I mean it took forever for them to even understand what happened. So he shows up and he looks through the house and then he's saying you don't have to spray the wall, you don't have to do that. I said, well this gentleman who works for Perry Hall in my way said we should spray the wall. I said well look I'd rather err on trying to control these termites so I want the wall sprayed and he's like no you don't have to do that. I said well I want it done. He's like ok I disagree but I'll get someone here and he did get somebody here in 45 minutes and they did spray the wall inside and outside. he worked up an estimate, it was incorrect. And they keep calling us you know do you want our service or not. And my husband and I are kind of disagreeing about it, I don't want anything to do with them. I do not feel like he was competent.

He didn't even charge us which was really nice. There weren't animals up there, we never heard anything again.

Wow, where to start. Very friendly and helpful. All of the staff that do in home visits are extremely professional and friendly. They know their stuff! For the better part of 2 years we had mice. It would take me months to catch one and when I did it would inevitably be replaced with a smarter, faster and more elusive successor. As a husband trying to manage the situation, frustrated was an understatement. We dropped tons of money on bait boxes, sticky paper, snap traps, peppermint oil, you name it we tried it. The climax to our mouse hunt resulted in our most recent victim startling my wife during a late night kitchen wife. My mother-in-law and I ran upstairs to screams and my mother-in-law and wife proceeded to beat the mouse with a zucchini and a shoe, I had clean up duty after we all laughed. After this event I had enough. I looked on Angie's List and found RPC & Services and took advantage of the deal. The tech came to the house and walked all around the property showing me all the areas they could be coming in (they really do not need much room at all to get in). He sealed up all the outer openings and several places inside as well. Bait was laid behind the stove and in several bait boxes in various areas such as dark corners, crawl space, etc. We have 2 dogs and they were VERY cautious with placement and we have never had a single problem. The tech also explained peppermint oil confuses mice because they leave a urine trail to make it back save and it disorients them, but once in the house it only spreads them to different areas, it does not drive them away. The final result? With painless and affordable follow ups I have not seen a single rodent since 6 months ago when they originally came. We have not changed a thing and let them do all the work. Could not be happier and highly recommend the service. Note to potential customers: They do require 3 months of monthly follow up after the first major appointment. Be ready for an additional 150 dollar cost for follow ups. Given all the struggle the past few years I was more than happy to keep them on hand and the results are clear. But it is a process, not a one and done.

The service provider was on time and very professional. He discussed my recent discovery of a mouse in my kitchen and we talked about mouse behavior, possibly entry points, how mice move around the home. It was all very helpful and useful information. The provider then went outdoors to search for and seal exterior entry points using a mixture of copper wire mesh and a thick concrete-looking material. He found about 15 holes around the foundation area and sealed them using this combo. My complaint is that it's very sloppy looking. I have blobs of grey material around my brick walkways and on the side of my white house. I am happy that he sealed the holes I just wished it looked a lot better.

When fixing up a rental property to prepare it for sale, we realized there was a rodent problem. I purchase the Angie's list deal for RPC to handle that. Once there, Andre noticed that the tenants also left behind some bed bugs. He offered to immediately begin treatment. He's come back twice since then to continue treatments. The office manager was also incredibly helpful and called me with reminders and to discuss options. It was a great experience. I'd use them again if I needed.

We had hoped that the price would include more services (closing up entry holes rather than just pointing them out), but the bait boxes have been successful and the rats are mostly gone.

This was a very expensive service and they didn't do what I wanted, which was to seal the mice holes, which was why I bought the service. To be fair, I wasn't there to communicate this. The service was for rat or mice, and they choose rat, since there were both, I would have chosen mice. Then they wanted me to pay even more to seal the mice holes and have them come back every month to change the bait in the traps. I called Orkin and they took care of both problems (including sealing the holes and changing the bate traps) for a lot less. I would not use them again.

There seemed to be fewer mice the first week or two but we're seeing them pop up again. Will likely go back for the bi-monthly management.

They came on time and worked quickly. They were very imformative and knowledgeable. They gave me recommendations and showed me each spot they sealed. I would use them again.

They came back every month until the problem was under control. I have recommended them to many people. I hope they never go out of business

Still have issues after 4 months. We acquired Rpc in March for mice treatment. The technicians are very polite and professional. The company came out on or about every month until August. we were still experiencing issue after there last visit in August and we acquired a different contractor and the issues are solved. The other contractors found a few 2 and a half inch holes that were missed.

The office personnel were very friendly and responsive. An appointment was set up, and a follow up call was made the day before and the day of the appointment. The technician arrived early and informed me what he was going to do. He finished up in approximately 30 minutes, maybe less, and showed me the few places on the exterior of my home where he applied a quick cement, and informed me that he also threw some rat bait into the crawl space. He was planning on leaving it at that until I asked him about where he was going to put the bait box and traps (part of Agieslist deal). He ended up placing one bait box on the side of my home, and one snap trap in the basement. My basement only has access from the outside and there was a significant amount of rodent activity. After that it was a push to sign up for their monthly service. I expected a little more, as least more than one snap trap.

It has been almost a year since the service and we no longer have problems with mice in our house or garage.

After the initial application and first 50 dollar follow-up visit, we went on vacation for most of the month of August. When we returned and I called to schedule the next follow-up visit, I was informed for the FIRST time that because we had not had a follow-up visit in August, we would be charged a extra fee of $25. I explained that (1) this fee had never been mentioned before, and (2) we were out of town in August. Didn't matter. If I wanted a follow-up application/visit, it would cost me the normal $50 fee AND the extra $25 for the 'missed' visit. I found that utterly outrageous, and told the company that I was done with them. I cannot recommend this company. Quite the contrary, I would advise Angie's List members to avoid them.

They are helpful. As long as we continue to have them come out on a bi-monthly basis they work out well. What stands out most about their work is their effectiveness. The mice are gone.

THe firs thing the guy said was "most problems are caused by squirells. We don't cover anything to do with squirrels." I knew I had mice in the house because I saw them and told him that and he kept trying to say it was squirrels and they shouldn't have to fix it. What I really wanted was for them to look around the house for holes or gaps that the mice would get into and seal them. What he said was that there was no way to really do that because they can get into the garage pretty easily. What he did was put out a bunch of poison pods in the attic and crawl spaces, which I think did help. The thing that really bothered me was that they kept calling me every few days trying to make me buy follow on services which I did not want.

RPC solved my problem! The two professionals who came to my home were immediately determined to get to the root of the problem, and set my mind at ease. They explained the treatment options, and were careful to ensure that my dog would not be harmed in the process. They were particularly thorough. Even though it was not a part of the service I paid for, a company member was available to speak with me by phone when I called with follow-up questions. I recommend this company HIGHLY!

We bought a house near a farm with lots of corn fields and the mice found their way into our house. These guys came out and performed and inspection and put out traps and then came out the following months (for extra fees) to make sure the mice were gone. They mice are in fact gone and we have not seen them return. The did forgot to close our crawlspace door the last time they came out and our pipes froze. No real damage done because we caught it quickly but it was not ideal.
