This company was a complete disappointment. It took 3 months for them to come to install the roof after I signed the contract. Then 18 months after the install I lost a couple of shingles. No problem I thought, they will stand behind their work. NOT TRUE!!! They offered to replace two small shingles for almost $400. They blamed the lost shingles on wind. Well my last roof lasted through the derecho and did not lose shingles but this one couldn't stand up to a thunderstorm. I also had some shingles pile up at the roof top which the repairman I hired said needed another nail (not due to wind). I hired them because a contractor I trust recommended them. I had him repair the roof and he told me he will never recommend them again. They were so unprofessional that when I complained to the person who answered the phone about not standing behind their work, I received a return call from the owner accusing me of "yelling at his wife" which was not true. I complained but did not raise my voice. If you want a bad experience before and after the sale, this is the company for you.

Do NOT use this roofer! They put a new roof on for us a year ago, and it is supposed to have a warranty. They never communicated with us as to when they were coming to do the job. We have yet to call and reach a person directly. We have had birds eating at the insulation they put down, and they are claiming that it's not their responsibility. They basically slapped down a roof without looking at what was there, and there was NO communication that anything was wrong. We will have to call a competent roofer to fix this problem.

Installation went OK. It was installed in mid October. 1st week of December we had sagging ceiling tiles and water in two different areas. We have called at least 6 times between a Friday and Monday morning.

He fixed a leak toward the front of my house on the roof. I had another leak toward the back of the house that was repeatedly worked on by the provider but was never finished. I called back to get the job done about 7 or 8 times, and the last time we spoke he wanted to charge an additional $900 to repair the same leak he was supposed to fix the first time.

I called Roofing Unlimited based on a flier included in a local coupon mailing. Shortly after the work was completed, I noticed a new leak spot and phoned Roofing Unlimited to have them come out again. My calls were fielded by the receptionist, Rose, and seldom if ever by a roofing contractor. I went through several rounds of calls in an effort to understand why the roofing work I paid for was still allowing leaks. I was told that the origin of the leak was on a portion of my roof not addressed by the work performed -- that I would need to have part of my neighbors roof torn up and tied back into mine to resolve the issue; a fact that would have been useful prior to giving the go ahead for the initial service. As I am not a roofer and have no experience in this field I decided to withhold judgment against Roofing Unlimited despite my growing doubts. I decided to save my pennies and have the primary roofing issue addressed as soon as possible. What ultimately soured me on the company was an incident which occurred about a year later. Without calling to authorize the visit, Roofing Unlimited allegedly came out to my home, while I was at work, and applied another coating to my roof. From what other roofers have since told me, they performed a patch job -- not a complete re-coating. There was no call before the visit, no call or voice mail after, no door tag left, not even a lawn flag or Post-it note to confirm their presence. However, there was a mailing -- an invoice for several hundred dollars for "services rendered". While this follow-up service was written in the contract, they could have made an effort to contact me prior to coming out; it's a customary and professional act employed by reputable companies. I would not recommend using Roofing Unlimited. While shopping for another roofing company, I mentioned that Roofing Unlimited performed the initial work. It's never a good sign when other roofing company reps shake their heads and give pained expressions of recognition. The upside to this is, Roofing Unlimited's questionable practices lead me to Angie's List where I was able to find a great roofing company to do the work properly and with a great deal of professionalism.

Overall the performance was excellent. They came on time, the crew was polite, the foreman explained the progress along the way, and the work was done efficiently. I wanted to see how bad the roof was, but I did not want to go on the roof. I asked the foreman to take pictures of the damaged joists, and he took my camera onto the roof and photographed for me the extent of the damage in several places. The work was done on schedule, and on time. I expected that I would have to clean up the debris left inside the building, but the crew came in and cleaned up the rooms under where the work had been done. Since then I have had no further leaks.

THEY WERE AN HORRIBLE COMPANY. THE GUY THAT DID THE SERVICE WAS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. HE DID NO CLEAN UP AFTER HIMSELF. THE PRICE WAS FINE WE HAD A COUPON.
