+ -1 moreThey wrapped everything that needed wrapping, were professional, didn't hit walls, etc. The move went smoothly and, overall, very well. However, my quote was for $340, and I ended up spending about $600 before tip. On the phone when i set up the move, they didn't explain that anything they have to wrap costs money, i.e., $18 for wrapping my couch, $18 for my bed. I thought that was included in the initial quote. Also, the quote didn't allow for the fact that my 1-br apt. was bigger than most, so it took more time. They charge for the drive to and from their office (before getting to your first place and after leaving the second place). Other than the money, i was happy.
Description of Work: Three men with one truck moved me from Oakton, VA to DC. It ended up being 4 1/2 hrs of moving time and 1 1/2 hours of travel time that I paid for (plus additional charges).

+ -1 moreWe ended up getting a uhaul and they would not help us remove the boxes, they also ripped our couch with a box cutter. They also did damage to the floor as well as several other items in the home. The bed collapsed on us due to them not putting the bed back together correctly. In the middle of move Serga stopped and said because it was taking so much time they would have to raise the price from $480 to $1,127! He wouldn't continue until we paid him more. The quote on their website states there are no hidden charges or fees. We have tried to contact them with no response. The two workers were very hard workers but had no idea what they were doing and Serga treated them like his slaves, while he sat there and barked orders.
Description of Work: Came and helped us move. Roman came to give us an estimate on moving, he gave us a quoted price of $480 to move everything but we would have to box. That was a three man move and it was supposed to be a whole day thing, they don't do hourly jobs! We used this company because they said we could use as many gourmet boxes as we wanted and they charged flat rates not hourly. They seemed very professional and gave a fair price. Serga came with 2 other movers who where day laborers. I was charged for a 3 man job when only 2 did the work, the move took almost 12 hours. Serga would not give us garment boxes after Roman, the owner, had already agreed upon. Serga then watched my dog get scared and peed on the floor, he put the box down and kicked it with his feet over the pee pile and stepped in it. Serga then decided he wanted to charge us for packing the tv's. This was after Roman came and did the estimate, so they started changing the price while they were in the processes of moving.
