We had priced that work at several places before selecting Petrafab. Although a small firm, they impressed us with their competence and flexibility. They also had the lowest price, which made us wonder. As it turned out, Petrafab's service was flawless. They were patient and helpful throughout the painful process of selecting a countertop material, they were prompt, efficient, and accurate with the templating, then installed the finished countertops quickly and professionally. Several complications arose in the course of installation (missing support under the old countertop, deteriorated framing under part of the window ledge) - these were handled quickly with no fuss. There was no additional charge for any of a number of changes made along the way. It was a very satisfactory choice.

Owner is great prompt, fair price met us on our schedule. Installers would have left us with problems if our contractor was not there looking out for us... all in all it turned out fine.

Their estimate was pretty much right in line with what everyone else did. They were really good. Bob is a nice guy. I don't think he would screw anybody over. He is very approachable. He was definitely responsive. We decided not to do the work.

Estimate was competitive with one other company, several hundred dollars lower than two others. We were able to select the exact slabs of stone ourselves from among several suppliers. Very quick turn around once we made our decision. Owner performed the template himself and was very thorough and accurate. Countertops fit perfectly even though we had difficult angles to deal with and an unusual design. Seams were kept to a minimum (two). countertops were reinforced at cutouts and seams professionally done. Painless process and owner made good suggestions for problem areas.

They were fabulous. They are a smaller company, but their work was beautiful and detailed. The guy came out to measure everything and with in a week they were ready to install the counter-tops. They also were one of the cheapest that we looked at. The money was spent well with them.

They were wonderful. They were mid-range as far as price goes and the quality was great. It was a very complicated layout and they used the same pieces so it just blends immediately.

BOB CAME OUT TO THE HOUSE AND TOOK DIGITAL PHOTOS OF MY EXISTING GRANITE KITCHEN COUNTER TOPS. HE THEN FOUND A PIECE OF GRANITE THAT MATCHED PERFECTLY. HE CUT, EDGED, AND POLISHED THE BASE OF MY WINE OPENER. IT LOOKS GREAT.
