Gave them my contact info and pictures of the fence I wanted fixed (since they requested it) and then they disappeared. Even after I followed up a couple times.

Estimator came out within one day and sent a written estimate via email within one day. Woman answering phone in office was nice, but she couldn't answer any questions relating to the estimate. I made it clear several times that one project needed to be done quickly. After not receiving a call back from the estimator on some questions I had (several items were not given prices on the estimate (they were written as "not in estimate" and will be charged at $65/hr with no number of hours estimated), I called again for another emergency item and was told that they were not scheduling any new jobs until the end of February! This might have been helpful to know when the estimator came out, and the multiple times I mentioned that there was a pressing project. Will not be using them.

Jonathan gave great advice during the bidding process, and when I scheduled the work they accommodated a pretty rigid timeline very gracefully. Then Rich showed up. What a great man! Quiet, considerate, reliable, and a real problem solver. Everything was possible. He'd research ideas and come to me with options. I had a new front door installed at the same time as the basement was being done. Two months later I am *still* hassling with the door guys about the crappy job they did. My experience with them is much more akin to what I am used to with contractors. Meanwhile, Rich and his crew are long gone and my kids are playing in the awesome basement now that the weather has started to turn!

Excellent. Rich arrived on time and got straight to work. He worked around our hectic schedule at a time that worked best for us.

Amazing, and PVHM was able to easily diagnose the leak, and fix it in no time flat! We'll use PVHM for all of our odd jobs. With an old parkville house, we fear we'll have plenty of them coming!
