I would recommend them highly. They were very good. I used them a couple of times and I was happy both times. I would absolutely use them again. They were very responsive and their price was very good. They were very professional and I didn't have any concerns with their employees being criminals.

The home we just purchased is an old home that had original slate roof which was >75 years old. Given that it was deteriorating in several places, we received several estimates for both repairs and replacements. All four companies we received estimates from agreed that it would be cheaper and more sensible in the long run to replace the entire roof, rather than just attempt to repair broken slate pieces individually over time. At the same time, shortly after moving in, we found that the gutters in the home were in very poor shape and needed to be completely replaced as well. Long story short: we needed a major overhaul of both roof and gutters and were worried about how expensive a project this would be - particularly since we have a large roof area, one part of which is very high and steep (ie, cathedral ceiling). We received three estimates from other companies that did not seem quite as comprehensive in scope of work as the project completed by Park Heights Roofing. Given all the positive reviews on Angie's List and the fact that this company recently won the 'Best Roofer of Baltimore' award, we almost didn't bother to call for an estimate because we thought they would almost certainly be even more expensive than their competitors. We're so glad we called! The estimate provided by Park Heights Roofing was competitive with - and in some cases considerably lower than - several of the other companies. Most importantly of all though, we felt a high degree of confidence in everyone we worked with. Andrew was our Project Manager, and he was fantastic! He met with us several times prior to and during the project, was very patient with us as we asked our countless questions, and explained everything to us very well. He even took video of the work being done on the day of the project and gave us a summary presentation afterwards. In addition, we met with Israel, the president of the company, to select shingles, and he was very informative, professional and patient. Finally, and most importantly - the quality of the work is great! We've had a few big rains since the completion of the roof and gutters, and everything seems to be in great shape. The roof looks beautiful, the gutters work well, and we are very pleased. Would definitely use this company again.

it went wonderful. The workers were very nice. They even came early to start the work due to possible weather issues. After the work was complete they swept our entire yard to ensure no nails had fallen. They were done in 2 days and I would use them again if ever they are needed. The owner even came out to survey the property to ensure everything went perfect & it did!!!!!

Came out quickly to inspect damaged area. Showed me photos of the damage and explained the best way to repair and cost. Followed up with email the next day and work was completed less than a week later. This is our second time using Park Heights and find them to be very honest and professional. Service is done very quickly and prices are fair. Would use again.

I originally called Park Heights Roofing last fall because I has a problem with leaves collecting in a "valley" area of my roof. I asked them for suggestions for removing the leaves. Instead they sent someone to clear the leaves off. They then informed me that there were several spots of the roof where the plywood was rotting and the whole thing would need replacement soon. When we bought the house, the home inspector figured we had about 7 years left on the roof. This was 3.5 years in, so it wasn't a total shock. Israel Elgamil came over and discussed all the various needs on the roof, and showed me pictures of my roofs and other roofs. He then gave me a long list of other houses he did in my neighborhood and encouraged me to see his work on those houses. These houses are the same design as mine. He pointed out a few weaknesses in the roofs, including the valley that started this all. Finally he told me I could get my roof done before Thanksgiving, otherwise wait until spring time. There was no pressure from him to make a decision. Since I had just made the final payment on the loan to replace the furnace and air conditioning, it was easy to decide to kick the project to the spring to let my wallet recover a little bit. In the meanwhile, I got a few other quotes. While they were less than the quote from Park Heights (although not WAY less for the roof), none of them seemed to have experience in my home area, nor did they inundate me with homes to go to look to see their work or referrals. In the spring Park Heights asked if I wanted to proceed with the roof. I gave the go-ahead. Mr. Elgamil came back and we went over some of the fine details and along with my wife, we picked out a color. A few days after this, my wife stated having doubts about the color. Being an artist, color matching is important to her. She started becoming stressed about this, so I emailed Park Heights and asked if we had time to look at the colors again. Fortunately the order did not go through yet, so Mr. Elgamil cam back with the sample shingles sheet and gave his own feedback on the various color options. He wanted to make sure we didn't proceed until we were happy with the color. After all, this roof is supposed to last for at least 30 years! We wound up staying with the original color choice, but now my wife was happy with it, and no longer had doubts. The chimney work was done on one day. We wouldn't have even known they were there if they didn't knock first. They were that quick and quiet. The chimney looks much better, I can't see any cracked or crumbling cement. The roof work was done a few days later. I was actually a little disappointed that the work was done so quickly! I had a meeting I was required to be at. By the time I got home, the new roof was completed! My wife took a bunch of pictures, and the Park Heights staff took and sent me pictures as well. I could see the rotted boards that were removed, the old felt (tar) paper scraped up, the new layer put down, and the shingles being installed. While they were working on the roof Park Heights was in touch with me via email, letting me know about the rotted plywood, and also that the old insulation needed replacing. After I got home and admired the roof, Andrew, the foreman / project manager from Park Heights, came back and was using a large magnet over the driveway where the dumpster had been placed, making sure there were no leftover nails or other scrap, since that is where I park my van. A nice touch! In fact, the cleanup went further than that. When they cleaned up the scraped off material from the roof that fell in the back yard, they also took away the rest of the leaves that were remaining on the patio! The also cleaned off leaves that were collecting on the roof of our sun room (the sun room roof was not included in the roof replacement). The following day another team from Park Heights came back and installed the gutters. These gutters are thicker than the previous gutters were, and look much more sturdy. I'm actually looking forward to the next heavy rainstorm so I can see these gutters in action to see how well they work. Overall, the job was well done, with attention to detail, and leaving no trace behind, other than a roof that I think really stands out and ads to the look of the house. People from Park Heights showed up on time for each job or appointment, and made sure at each stage that we were happy with what we were getting. While the cost might be a little more than other quotes I got, the peace of mind in knowing that these were competent people who knew the roof and its needs made up for it.

From the first phone call, PHR was great. They had to deal with the horrible weather to get a look at the roof to see where the leak was. Then they promptly sent an estimate. Even though the work couldn't be done because of the long, nasty winter, I got frequent calls reminding me that PHR was waiting for the first day with a break in the weather to do the work. when the right day came, they came out and did the repairs so cleanly, efficiently, and quietly, that we didn't even know they had been there until we looked at the roof. Will certainly use them again.

Excellent , all that was promised regarding schedule , cost were met . People who did the work were polite ,considerate and accommodating. Would definitely use them again and recommend them.

It went wonderfully! The roof supplies showed up on Friday and the work was completed on Monday. The installers showed up bright &early. They finished in record time. The clean up went well too. The installers got here at 7 am and started right away. They were mindful that the weather was turning nasty. They did not skip on any of the work despite being under the gun weather wise. They spent a lot of time during and after with clean up. We were in constant contact with Israel before, during & after the whole job. He shows that he cares about the job from beginning to end. We have had several nights of heavy down pouring rain. Our old roof was so bad the sounds were deafening. With the new roof we didn't even hear it.

I originally had found Park Heights Roofing back in early 2012 using Angie's List because I had a minor repair that was needed. They were great then and so when I needed a new roof and gutters, I called them for an estimate. I met with Elgy and he went over in detail everything he proposed for my home and took the time to explain the specifications and the process. I was impressed with how everything was designed and tailored specifically for my roof. I am extremely pleased with how everything went from the office communication to the process and the job itself. They went above and beyond with ensuring I had a perfect job and exceeding my expectations. My roof had a number of unforeseen issues that came up during the installation of the roof and they were able to handle every single issue expertly and professionally. When they tore off the roof, there were sections of the attic that became exposed and was determined to have deteriorated insulation, Park Heights Roofing was able to to have insulation blown-in while the roof was open as that would be the only access to those attic areas. I highly recommend Park Heights Roofing.

Park Heights Roofing was by far and away the most inexpensive. They beat my lowest estimate by $200. Also I didn't feel as if they were trying to take advantage of me by telling me that I needed extra work or price gouging me like some other companies. Park Heights did the work for $270 that some other companies were trying to charge $900 for. They were very professional and had good communication. They seemed eager for my business but not in a shady or harassing way. They did the estimate and completed the work all within a weeks time. I'm very happy with my new gutter and downspout. The only complaint is a small one and that would be that I wish they had cleaned up after themselves better. Besides that the price and the customer service was excellent and I will definitely use them again.

I had a leaking roof and needed to replace the shingles and part of the rotten wood underneath. I recevied 3 quotes from different contractors. Park Heights Roofing was the middle bidder, but had the best references, so I paid more to get better service. I also elected to replace the entire back gutter and downspout with a commercial grade aluminum gutter designed by Park Heights. The new gutter and roof are great. Mr. Elgamil was very responsive and the crew completed the job ontime.

Before tarping, they took pictures to send to the insurance and were fantastic in dealing with the insurance adjuster. As soon we got approval from the insurance they ordered the material. The work was done quickly and they cleaned up all debris.

It went great. They had been maintaining my old shingled roof for many years and did not pressure me into replacing it but I opted to when it was clear that it was going to become time soon. They have been most responsive about checking a ceiling leak which apparently is not related to the roof but to my HVAC as well.

Overall great! This was a small job to repair soffit pieces on side of house. Originally I thought price was high compared to another quote I had... but Elgy agree to match it. The job was scheduled within couple days and they did fine job. Thanks.

Punctual and responsive. Roof and gutters were done well, but did not adequately revise down spouts. Which required additional expensive and work.

From start to finish I was very impressed with their responsiveness and professionalism. The estimator came out when he said he was and the office scheduled my work right away. When I came home from work I saw my new gutter and the jobsite was spotless.

The roof was installed quickly and professionally with a minimal amount of mess. Once the roof had cured, we had some issues with the flat roof, but Park Heights Roofing came out promptly to repair the problems and make sure that we were happy. Overall I was quite satisfied with the entire process from the quote to the installation to the follow-up, and I would recommend them to anybody.

Owner came out to give us estimate - he was very professional, didn't give a big sales pitch, just went over what he recommended, and answered our questions. He didn't try to upsell or pressure us, but described exactly what we should expect from his company. Once we signed the contract, things went exactly as he described. They dropped off the materials within a week, and were able to complete the entire job within the next few days. The workers came out and replaced the entire roof within a day, and cleaned up after themselves thoroughly. The gutters were installed on the next business day, and that took just a few hours. When they were finished, the owner came out personally to make sure we were satisfied and that everything was completed. They left no mess behind at all - you wouldn't even know anything had happened, except we have a nice new roof and gutters! The price was very reasonable and there were no surprises.

The work they had done was fantastic. I would recommend them to everyone. I liked how the owner came out himself to give us an estimate, and they were willing to negotiate price. They were fast, clean, and very professional.
