They were done with my sofa within a week

It was beautiful ..Try like I wanted ..

Mr. Chris has been our upholsterer since 1975. His work has always been excellent. I was trying to decide whether to replace my recliners, or reupholster them. After pricing new recliners, I realized I could get both of my chairs done for the price of one new chair. Mr. Chris helped me choose beautiful remnant fabric that was much less expensive than ordering new fabric. His men came the next day to take the first chair, and were kind enough to move another heavy chair upstairs to my bedroom, and bring down the recliner from the bedroom to the first floor. The work was done quickly, and the result was gorgeous. I had some discomfort in my back, as the chair was 20 years old and had been very comfortable. Mr. Chris took the chair back and re-did the stuffing, and now it is comfortable again. He did the second chair, and it is very comfortable also. Mr. Chris also made me several beautiful pillows without additional charge. I am thrilled with my "new" old chairs.

It was less then 10 days

Very, very well! I supplied the material. My chairs were picked up the day after I looked for a vendor, repairs done and chairs returned to my home within a short several weeks. The services were reasonable, and Jason and his crew were excellent.

After talking to several firms, we received from Olympic good advice on how to proceed, responsive and convenient scheduling, and a competitive quote on the work and price. Olympic was timely (only slight schedule slippage, and not an issue), and the work was excellent. Would recommend and use again.

Everything went well. We received high quality service, prompt delivery at a reasonable price. I will certainly use them again whenever necessary.

Professional, punctual and price was right

I went to their storefront with a picture of my chairs. The owner took me into the back and showed me fabrics. As I only needed a fairly small amount, he suggested a remnant and found a great choice. He gave me a quote and made arrangements for the chairs to be picked up. When they were finished and delivered to my home, they looked terrific! Excellent job. The only problem was amount of time for pick up and delivery. They are located on the east side of town and I live on the west side. They apparently do not come west on a regular basis. Had to call twice to arrange for time for both pick up and for delivery. Everyone was very gracious and helpful (including delivery man).

It was a complete success. I took pictures of the couch and emailed them to Olympic. They responded with an estimate with the cost for pickup/delivery and we scheduled the pickup for a few days later. The work was performed perfectly and the pickup/delivery was completely painless.

This company first started working on my sofa in November 2011. I was completely dissatisfied with the work and the lack of timely response. They caused me to spend more money on fabric because of botched first time job. Even though I gave them specific instructions, pictures, and the old cushions, their first set of cushions were a totally different style than what I provided. They remade the back cushions using my old cushions, which were acceptable. They, however, remade my seat cushions three times. The first set was too short for the sofa, poorly sewn, and the foam was skimpy. The second set were massively too big for the sofa and the foam used appeared to be used and it smelled badly. The final set was horrendous. The cushions were mismatched size and did not fit the couch properly. The pattern/grain ran in different directions on one cushion and it was seamed together. The owner originally told me that there was enough fabric to remake this final set. He must have found that there was not enough. The final product was so bad that I asked for a full refund because I could no longer get more fabric. Even if I could have gotten more fabric, the owner said he would only remake one cushion. He did not understand that cushions of different sizes and that were not wide enough to fit the sofa were unacceptable. He said things to me like "Whats an inch?," and "The upholsterer has discretion on how the upholstery should be done." I realized at this point, there was no use in trying to further work through this problem. I gave them an opportunity to make full restitution and finally made a complaint through the BBB. They have so far refused. BBB wrote back to me essentially stating the Company refused to respond and no further action could be taken through them.

The company was very responsive by email and phone, did the work in a timely manner, and did a great job. The cost for pickup was fair, and the cost for the work done was appropriate.

It went excellent. I hadn't used them before. I would definitely use them again. The prices were extremely reasonable.

They provided all new cushions and cleaned each chair. They used Old English furniture polish to polish my mahogany chair. It turned out great, it looked brand-new, although it was an antique. I do believe that the chair is about 75 years old. But they made it look brand-new. They have also done in the past my dining room chairs. My dining room chairs are also mahogany antique. He has even done a chaise lounge, and did fantastic job on that. So I know he is used to dealing with antique furniture. We have dogs, so the furniture takes a beating. When we had family over for Thanksgiving, they said it looked brand-new.

They are on Angie's List. They did a great job. We would use them again in the future.

For my furniture: * The Thomasville chair was well done and there were no problems. * The Thomasville sofa's under-supprt fell through and some of the trim separated from the underlying wood. Both occurred about 4 years after the work was completed. * The setee was essentially ruined. (This was an historical piece from about 1870. An identical sister of this setee is roped off in the Renwick Museum in D.C.-across the street from the White House.) They were provided with the original springs which were to be used in the seat of the setee. Rather than contacting me about the springs, they were thrown away. This tremendously devalued the piece. I immediately called to recover the springs, but the trash has already been collected by the Sanitation department. A complaint was made, but without the springs nothing could be done. My sister's sofa: * There were no structural problems. * They failed to align the stripes in the upholstery. * A complaint was made and they did redo the work to her satisfaction. It is because of this experience that I joined Angie's list. I was surprised to see this firm and quot;Aand quot; rated.

The men from Olympic Upholstery came the day after I had placed my order. They said it would take about three weeks, which was fine with me. When they brought the chairs back, I was stunned at the difference. They were both absolutely gorgeous. The channel-back chair looks the best I have ever seen it. I vaguely remember it being a lovely gray silk when I was a child. This surpasses even that. My grandfather's rocking chair looks fabulous. Mr. Chris is such a nice man. He even made me a pillow for the rocking chair, since it has a hard wooden back. The wood had been refinished on both chairs, and the wood is now a lovely, rich dark wood, matching the original finish. The foot stool is fabulous also. I almost wish I had more items to upholster, because his work is so excellent. I can't say enough about how thrilled I am with the result.

Fabulous experience. The chairs were done in three days...beautifully and very reasonably priced. Two required cording, two others, were drop in seats, but needed new strapping and padding. All were done really nicely.

We called ahead to see if they would be willing to do the work with the material we had already purchased and Chris was very willing to do this for us. We took the a seat and back from one chair to them to get an estimate. The estimate was $45 per chair which we thought was very reaonable. It was only three days later that we got a call saying that chair was completed. We took the other two and picked that one up. It was very nicely and professionally done. We got a call another 2-3 days later that the rest of the chairs were completed. We were very pleased with the work and amazed how reasonable the cost was. Chris was even nice enough to go outside and located a wallet that one of us had dropped as we were leaving the shop.

Delivered chairs to the shop after calling to make arrangements. Got helpful assist in selecting fabric from owner. Chairs were ready in less than a week. We are very pleased with the work and the price.

They were wonderful. They gave me a really good price on the fabric. They came when they said they would and finished the job in a timely manner. They helped me to chose the fabric that I ultimately chose.

It actually took just a little over 2 weeks to complete, which is very quick compared with most craftsmen. The owner is an elderly, very charming Greek man. He originally said it would be done in 7-10 days, but the office woman assured me it would take more than that.
