Description of Work: They checked the A/C. Also replaced electrical outlets and put in a lamp in my bath. Replaced a recessed lighting lamp. They did a great job as usual. Will continue to use this company. Very reasonable and helpful. They keep you aware of what they are doing.

Description of Work: The original call was because my gas furnace was not working they charged fee of $100 just to put a meter and a video meter on my heater then told me my heater was not repairable and had to be replaced for $7000.00. They tried to scare me that it could b leak n hazard... I declined . Hired another company who fixed my heater with a part for $800.00....it still works now....I not recommend Michael and son. Still out that $100.00 for service call.

Description of Work: We called for an emergency service on a Saturday. They said we would be put on the list and someone would be out. We called several hours later about an update and were told we were next. Several hours later at 7 pm we called again and they were surprised we never got a call and told us the tech would call us right away. Again an hour later we called and told them to forget it. They went ahead and cancelled the appointment but barely offered an apology for never showing up.

Description of Work: Replaced electrical panel following diagnostic of a problematic circuit breaker.

Description of Work: Power to the outside duplex outlet that provided power to the pond pumps had been interrupted. The technician had to determine the cause of the outage trace the power source and repair the same. He deactivated a live circuit that provided power to the pond lights until such time as I was ready to replace them as they had rusted and become detached from the connectors. When the technician left I knew which circuit in the box controlled the pond and other exterior lights and how the circuit ran from the outlet to the box; something I never knew when I purchased the house.

Description of Work: regenerated a complete cuircut. The job went well and solved the problem that I was having.

Description of Work: They came out to give me an estimate and John Morgan was extremely professional, courteous and punctual. He was able to tell me right away that we needed a new furnace and that flushing it would not resolve the issue. He sent the estimate right away to my email and even let me know about the financing. We've decided not to replace it at this time and we would still get a couple more estimates, but Michael and Sons would definitely be a contender.

Description of Work: I needed a new water heater installed in my condo. They were hired through home depot. Very professional and cleaned up after themself. They allowed me to mop the area clean before installing the new water heater. They were also cheaper than BGE Home about 200-300 dollars difference.

Description of Work: Installed a new electrical panel box, increased to 220. Totally redid wiring to main BGE connections. Had to call them back since installation failed county inspection. Took about two weeks for revisit, completed the work outside as required to pass inspection, but electrician did not even tell me he was done. Just left without asking me if everything was satisfactory. We liked that the job was priced by the job, not by the hour. Liked that they offered a maintenance policy for the HVAC system which provided a discount in addition to seasonal cleaning and checkups.

Description of Work: Added water to my Hotwater baseboard heating system. Told me I needed to replace the valves on the furnace because they were not reading correctly (non-working) estimated cost $400, replace the overflow bulb (couldn't register pressure, estimated cost $500). I asked a friend who works in HVAC to check the system. He used a tire pressure gauge and registered correct pressure, also checked the gauges and found no problems. Heat worked without any issues all winter. Overall rating, deceiving and extremely pricy. $350 for hooking up a hose and adding water to the system.

Description of Work: Made arrangements for emergency service and agreed to pay in advance for service at 10 a.m. And was told a technician would be here between 2-6. technician never called or showed up, called office at 5 and they said he should've been there. They said they could schedule it for the next day. Even though I paid for same day emergency service. I cancelled this service and used my regular service provider the next day
