The metro mechanical person quickly diagnosed the problem and put in an order the the replacement part needed. As soon as the part came in he called and came over to fix it. Very professional and we appreciated the quick service as it was beginning to get cold.

They are very good. He's a solid plumber to use if you are in a bind for somebody. It's really just the boss. He's very nice.

Metro is one of the only certified installers of Bosch boilers, which after extensive research, was our preferred choice. (Do your research on boilers!) They stayed very late in order to complete the installation in one day because it was cold outside.The installation has required a number of post-installation adjustments and Metro has been INCREDIBLE about coming back to tweak the electronics, adjust the valves, change the pressure and temperature settings, until it is working like a charm. Eric, the owner of Metro, is not only competent, but professional, responsive, understanding, honest. We insisted on paying him more for the multiple trips he made ensure we were happy (including reconfiguring the exhaust through our stone wall to ensure it didn't risk being covered by snow.)

They didn't fix the leak and refused to do the entire flush which I even asked in writing. They didn't come in the time frame that they started they would.

Late to his first appointment. I paid up front for for what was supposed to be a minor solution where Eric would come back out later in the week. The next appointment he forgot. The one after that "He got a flat tire and would call me the next day." He never did, I had to call him. After that he plain didn't show for the next appointment and won't answer his phone. Now I'm sitting in the dead of winter with a broken HVAC system with the thermostat hanging off the wall and rigged wiring on my HVAC unit. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH METRO. YOU WILL GET BURNED.

We met with Eric who is the owner of Metro Mechanical. Our appointment was at 10am. Eric got to our home at 9:50 am, he was very polite and seemed very professional. We hired his company to clean and do any necessary services to our furnace for the upcoming season. Eric spent about 45 mins. and did a great job. He left our home clean. We will be using Metro MechanIcal for all our heating and cooling needs for now on. Thank Eric.

Eric not only found and corrected issues created by the last serviceman who was here (access fittings leaking, caps missing), but re-lit the pilot light for my furnace (which had apparently blown out, in the last major windstorm), told me how to adjust the duct air flow so that I could get more cool air to the (3rd floor) master bedroom (no one's ever done that, in over ten years of living here!), and double-checked my A/C filter to make sure it wasn't impeding air flow. Not only that--but he and his assistant put "booties" over their shoes before coming into and leaving the house! I can't speak highly enough, or more gratefully, of this knight in shining armor! I'd recommend Metro Mechanical Services Heating-Air Conditioning-Plumbing unreservedly to anyone who wants to deal with an honest, decent, courteous, and competent technician who understands the meaning of "customer service," and respects the customer as well as his or her home!

Eric is absolutely wonderful. Communicates very well, he's trustworthy and the only person that I would call for my HVAC needs! I have recommended him to everyone. Initially, Metro Mechanical gave me a second opinion for service provided under my home warranty and I ended up using this company outside of my home warranty. I had Metro move my indoor air handler in my basement so that it wasn't in the center of the basement. They did an outstanding job on everything including the duct work and I haven't had a single problem. They stayed the entire day and night until the job was finished. These guys are great! Definitely give them a call before calling anyone else. They are honest and have fair prices. I will definitely be using them again in the future.

Eric arrived promptly, explained what the problem was, what he had to do and did a cursory inspection of the AC system. Courteous and willing to answer all questions. This guy is a keeper.

The A/C stopped working at my rental property on Friday 5thSeptember. I called my warranty company and was assigned to Metro Mechanical Services. Eric the owner was very accommodating and squeezed me infor an appointment ion Tuesday Sep 9th. He was on time and diagnosedthe problem very promptly and resolved it the same day. He replaced the dual capacitor and added some Freon. I was dreading thebattle with the warranty company to get the repairs approved, but Eric took care of all that and my claim was approved in no time. Metro is a family owned business that still believes in providing honest and quality service. I would highly recommend Metro and Eric for any Heating and Air conditioner work. They also offer Annual Maintenance agreement for heating and cooling system. I am going to call Eric to inquire about the pricing and details.

Eric was on time diagnosed the problem rather quickly and promptly order the replacement parts. The following day he came back as promised and replaced the broken parts. The heat has been working nicely ever since. I'm very pleased with the professionalism and ability to fix my equipment. If/when I have another problem with my furnace I'll be giving metro mechanical a call.

My A/C stopped putting out cold air on Sunday June 30th. So I called my home warranty company so they could dispatch a company. None of the first 4 companies would come to my location so i was told if i could get my own company out that would be fine. I called around and was able to get another company to come out (Sila, do not use them). they told me my compressor was bad and it was a 2600.00 job. the warranty company wasnt happy with this so they put me in touch with Eric at Metro Mechanical Services. Eric and metro squeezed me in and came out on tuesday july 2nd. Eric determined that it was not my compressor but rather a way lesser issue of a fan motor had gone bad. he did a full inspection and found that a capactior was is need of replacing. On wednesday july 3rd Eric and metro mechanical came back out and replaced both the fan motor and the capactior and added a pound of freon. Eric and Metro Mechanical saved me oo three fronts. They saved me from a battle with the Home Warranty Company, from purchasing and replacing parts that were not needed and from the summer heat. Eric and metro will be back out to my house on Wedsneday July 10th to install my NEST thermostat, which he is a certified NEST installer. Metro is a family owner and operated company who still believe in providing the best service with quality products for a good price. If you are in need of A/C service Metro works 7 days a week and they do amazing work.
