Description of Work: Completely removed the tattered screening of our sliding glass door and replaced with a pet proof screen. Was extremely personable and took pride in their work. Reasonable rates! Old fashioned, customer service with a smile!

+ 3 moreAll the folks at Lombard Hardware (Kenny, Lil and Rob) know everything about rowhouses in Baltimore. They provide expert advice on what you need and usually have it on the shelf, ready to go. Older homes need unique products (wiring, plumbing, heating and door latches, for example) that are very difficult to find at bib box stores, but Lombard Hardware has them in stock.
Description of Work: I brought in a large (24" x 36") wood window that I was rehabbing and that needed new glass and glazing. Kenny instantly measured the window size and calculated a very reasonable price for the glass and glazing work. Kenny installed new glass and expertly reglazed the exterior side of the window. The repaired window was ready later that day. I primed the wood, and installed it back into the window frame the next day. It looks better than when it was new 100 years ago! Excellent work.

+ 0 moreThe whole experience went very well, I was so worried I would have to get whole new windows installed. I noticed they do all kinds of glass work, window repairs, stained glass, mosaics.
Description of Work: I called so many places about having windows repaired, finally I called this business, the lady I spoke to was so nice, she said they repaired the broken glass in most all double pane windows. Same day service if they are repairable and I brought them in early. So I found this little store in the vicinity of Hopkins Hospital, near Broadway. It looks like it's been there many years. The young man who helped me was all business, he looked at the windows carefully to see how they were constructed, measured them and said they would be $55.00 each. He gave me some other details I can not remember but mainly he said they would be ready by 4PM that very day. I was so happy, I showed up about 3:45, they were both ready! That's what I like, good service, at a great price. I also noticed when I returned they make custom stained glass windows there, I spoke to the owner of the store who does that work, the work was beautiful.
