Len The Plumber, LLC.

Called Len the Plummer in October for similar job. Fix same frozen pipe. First visit in October cost $200. This visit the plummer said a new line had to be installed from kitchen to outside of house and the price would be $725. I thought this was very expensive but I will be charged for the visit so I felst like I had to have the work done. After he installed the new line he tells me that my faucet outside leaks and that he could fix that for $150 more. No thanks, felt like you got more then enough of my money. I now will have to turn of the faucet from under my sink. After initial review, Len the Plummer called to discuss my concerns. They have offered to have a plummer come out and replace my faucet free of charge. I believe that is more then fair on their part and was very appreciative of their offer. I would definetly recommend Len the Plummer and appreciate the way they handled my concerns.

Took longer than I expected. Did good and thorough job.

Their advertising is false. They advertise same day service but don't comply. I called for an emergency water leak on Saturday and they called on Monday to say they were on the way to my house.

They responded immediately, and were inexpensive, professional, and extremely competent. I have used them 5 times and referred friends to them.

It was a weekend evening and this was the only company willing to come out.It was a small hole in the copper tubing going to the cold water faucet. After he left I discovered he had soldiered my retractable faucet line to the area he had fixed. He had to return to correct the problem he had made. We feel that the $300.00 fee for the work he did was way out of line, but at least the leak was fixed.

The young man was very courteous and took the time to tell me what he was doing.

The price they gave me to replace all the copper was the highest out of all the offers I had.

Response was excellent since we were able to schedule work on a Sunday. Cost out of line for time spent. All of their charges seem to come from a schedule.

Water for whole house had to be off until this was done.

Technician kept talking to make the job seem big, difficult and one that requires a professional. All he had to do was hook uo his power roto-rooter machine and clean the line, a 15 minute job. Feel that the price charged was way too high for time and effort expended

Very professional and courteous from beginning to end. Bryan arrived on time, introduced himself, put covers on his shoes, and we discussed the problem. He listened intently, explained things clearly about what would be done for the work involved, and took care while working efficiently We appreciated his knowledge and patience in informing us how to care for the outside faucet in the winter as well as ways to keep the bathroom drain from building up so much hair, etc. The quality of the work was excellent; thank you for taking such pride in how you operate and who you hire in your company! We would definitely use you again and tell others who are in need of a very good plumber, too. Thank you.

The 2nd service tech that came to the house identified a broken floor flange for the toilet. He went to Home Depot and got the part which he then installed. This fixed the problem. The 1st tech that came to the house wanted to replace the entire toilet, which would not of fixed the problem.

Even though they promise same day service, they had a 5 day waiting period because it was during the bad weather we had. They did a fine job, however.

I think they did a pretty good job.

The two guys were prompt. They took a look at the drain and originally gave me an estimate of $400 plus dollars. I was shocked and told him to forget it because it only cost about $100 to rent a snake from Home Depot. He then changed the price to about $275. I agreed to let them do the work for that amount as I was desperate to have it done, but I don't like being taking advantage of. What if I hadn't did my homework of pricing. Those guys would have gotten away with such a erroneous amount. How many others have fallen for such a quote. They unclogged the drain. I was already physically sick and made the guys aware that I just wanted to pay and be done. One of the guys were very persistant in stating that he needed to use his camera to take a look in the drain and said it would not take long. He did and then tried to convince me that I had a terrible problem that needed immediate attention and I would need to get new pipe lines installed etc. I was not in a good mood already because my mind was still on how he tried to increase the price earlier. There was no way I was going to trust their word with anything anymore.

I've used them on previous occasions with good experiences. They always respond quickly, are usually able to get to us within a day or two, and they do quality work. Unfortunately, I learned that the disposal issues were related to a plastic spoon that was easily removed with a tool similar to an Allen wrench. This means I probably could have resolved the issue myself.

The agent was clean and efficient. Very informative and deatiled pricing. Showed a schedule of services and how they could dicsount. Discount return prices for follow up services. Prices were high.

The courtesy that is clearly policy at this company is exceptional. First, their call center is open and responsive on weekends, and they have plumbers that are working on the weekends but don't charge after-hour rates like so many other plumbing companies I've talked to. This was such a relief for a household where someone would have to take a day off of work to be at home during the day time on a week day, hence making any repair at least twice as expensive. Next, I was delighted to get a call the morning of my appointment asking if it would be all right if the plumber arrived EARLY! The dispatcher scheduled with me and Arthur arrived punctually at the new time. Arthur stopped at my front door to put cloth covers over his work boots, and explained everything clearly. I learned so much more during the 20 minutes we chatted about my leaking drain assembly than I had talking to a previously tried plumber for over an hour about it. Arthur gave me tips for the best ways to remove clogs, mentioned that my use of a steel snake to remove a clog in a lead pipe might have done some damage (so glad to not make that mistake again!), and pointed out the parts of the pipes bringing hot and cold water into the shower that were known to be carcinogenic. Honestly, he was just the nicest guy you'd ever want to work with, and was extremely knowledgeable about everything plumbing, particularly in these old Baltimore row houses. Prior to this, I had tried a plumber who came, looked at the all-lead assembly and the tight access door to get into all of it, said we'd have to cut into the ceiling and gave me a quote $50 higher than the one Arthur gave, and then never returned my calls to schedule a time for the work to be done. So I was shocked and amazed when Arthur said he could have it all done on the same day within two hours. He worked up the complete quote and had me approve it before he started, took ten minutes to call it in and gather his tools and parts, then set to work and was finished within two hours of his arrival time. Before he left, Arthur told me what to watch out for as indicators of more repairs needed (with lead pipes that are certainly over 80 years old, if not original to the 100-year-old house, it's only a matter of time), and told me to call him back when that happened. Which I absolutely will!

He worked here at my home for two days and completed every plumbing very well. I was more than pleased. He had to replaced a lot of pipes and also redo what Premier had done in the bathroom. I can't say enough the tech was wonderful

We called Len the Plumber and they sent someone out first thing the next morning. He determined the problem was much larger than a backed up drain and scheduled a crew to come out 2 days later (Earliest possible time). The crew came out with the proper equipment bright and early. Unfortunately they had to dig across the front yard to find the problem, which ended up being an collapsed old clay sewer pipe. They replaced the clay pipe up to the house and replaced the soil into the trench they had to dig. Every single person we dealt with was professional and courteous. I would definitely use their services again.

They could not perform the service because it was the responsibility of the then Homeowners Associan.

The overall experience was excellent. What I liked most is that they gave me an estimate of what the service would cost before they came out. I would use them again and they were timely.

Our technician was punctual and courteous. The price quote was a few hundred more than we had seen around, but considering it was a Saturday and all work could be done at the time of the call the cost wasn't horrible. ============== UPDATE: Turns out one of the pipes on the water heater was installed incorrectly. It was not installed to code. The mistake was actually found by another LEN the plumber technician that was doing a free home walk through. I have not heard back from LEN the plumber customer service yet as to what can be done. I will gladly re-review if things are taken care of accordingly. ============ Final update: A LEN the plumber area manager contacted us. He stated that the job was not technically done incorrectly, but not done to company standards. He sent back the original technician who was extremely rude and disrespectful to my wife. He was not happy to be called back to a job he thought was fine. I was not home, but when my wife called me she had already asked him to leave and not let him back in. The water heater is under warranty through them, so that will be the only reason we would contact them further. Given the cost of LEN the plumber, the difficulty scheduling a "same day service" provider, and the unprofessional behavior of the technician, we cannot at this time recommend Len the plumber.

The plumber first tried the inexpensive fix. It worked!
