Len The Plumber, LLC.

We have used Len the Plumber on many occasions and have always received great service and very timely response. In this particular instance, it was an emergency due to overpressure in the home water system which caused a bathroom flood. The dispatch team at Len the Plumber understood the urgency of the situation and responded promptly. Jim Long arrived within a couple of hours of the initial call. Jim repaired the immediate situation and further diagnosed the root cause of the problem, which was excessive water pressure caused by the faulty valve. He was an expert craftsman, checking all of the plumbing for any additional concerns. He explained in detail the work needed, cost and materials, and he answered all questions. We were in the middle of a kitchen remodel and had need to bring Jim back for another kitchen related issue. Again, Jim was responsive and professionally delivered all of the services we needed. We continue to rely on Len the Plumber and their expertly trained technicians. We would recommend to family and friends.

The plumber was on time, friendly, diagnosed the problem, explained what he needed to do and what the cost of the repair would be.

When I called, the dispatcher was quick to schedule a service call for "same-day" service, since I told her that our water was shut off, due to the leak being so bad. Justin arrived within an hour and was very polite and professional. I was very pleased with the repair and the new shut-off valve. Makes things easier since both I and my husband are not so young any more. I really didn't expect to pay so much for the work, however, I realize I got same day service, and no one else could get to me until 3 days later or more. So it was worth it in the long run. He also checked to make sure there were no more leaks.

I am reviewing for my elderly mother and aunt who live next to each other and both had service from this company. Both were charged an outrageous amount to replace toilets. My mother's charge to replace a plain white toilet that had no issues in a basement with an unfinished floor was $495. My aunt's plain toilet upstairs was $675 to replace. My aunt has told me she still can only use the toilet for flushing #1. She tried calling them back once when the toilet clogged and they did come out for free, but did not fix the root cause and told her the next time there would be a charge. They did not check the vent stack on the roof which could very well be the issue. When I called to obtain an estimate to see if these guys really charge this much, I was told they could not quote over the phone because each case is individual. When I mentioned I was calling because I felt these two seniors had been ripped off, I was told the company has a standard price book and they can back up the prices charged. That is two different stories. However, I was also told the prices were high because the they stood behind the work and there were no extra costs. Well, you cannot have it two ways Len the Plumber. If you are going to charge the highest rates out there, then you need to stand behind the product even if it means a few calls to fix the root cause of why the toilet will not flush with more than plain toilet paper in it. So to replace a toilet was $495 for one, $675 for another, and $378 to screw off one hose bib and put on another. The person who called me stated the $378 for the hose bib was discounted 50%. I would be ok if the hose bib had been gold plated for that amount. My mother has at least a $300 refund coming to her. At least. This was not replacing a toilet in a submarine. The toilet had no tile or flooring around it and was the most basic toilet they make. The person who came out to quote the job sized up these two seniors for maximum revenue in his pocket.

They were great, showed up the same day, and corrected everything within the hour?

The guy was very polite. He did a nice job. I would use him again. One person came out.

I called Len the Plumber today and requested same day service for the same problem and was told by their customer service person that they could not come out the same day. This was around 12:15pm. I told them that I was not happy about this as the problem obviously was not fixed. I told her that I would not be scheduling tomorrow with them as there are many plumbers around. I went on Angie's List and looked up another plumber and was able to get same day service. This is frustrating as Len the Plumber advertises same day service. In my case, this was false advertising.

They did a good job.. I decided to use them because they were available and responsive. But they were much more expensive than the other quote. They charge around $50 for an estimate.

The plumber was Ken Borowiak. He did a wonderful job. I highly !!!!! Recommend him

The bill was $657 after 4 hours of work and he left for 45 minutes. They told me that they don't charge by the hour, only by the job. I was supposed to receive a $10 discount from being an Angie's List member, but the worker wouldn't honor the discount. I contacted the manger and he gave me the discount and another $15 off. His explanation for the price was that it's system wide for the industry and I was paying for an educated and experienced worker.

They're local. He has a good reputation around here in our area. We chose to go with him because of local references for one thing. We needed a hot water heater and I've heard a lot of good things about him. That's why we went with him. He was really nice and did a great job. He was in and out. His professionalism was pretty good. They were really nice. They were referred to us by local people, neighbors and that kind of stuff. The price was okay. We called them in the morning and they were here in the afternoon. They were right there when they said they were coming.

I realized that my car battery had died overnight. I already had my two kids loaded inside and they were wailing-- due to the delayed departure. As it was the middle of the day, there was no one around to help. Tim was finishing up his job and I walked across the street to ask for his help. He immediately helped out by getting his cables and jump starting my car. Yay Tim! You saved the day! Thank you!

They left something in the toilet that they did not tighten. They were very responsive.

They were very good. The one thing I will say is that when they came, they were not prepared with everything that they needed that is why I ended up having to pay extra. To have them go to Home Depot and get a longer line which I think they should not have. The person was very nice and their customer service was good but they were not prepared when they came here. For them to go to Home Depot and get a longer line, to me that was troublesome and it also cost driving time. So the customer service was great and the person who came here was very nice but I was disappointed in the fact that they were not totally prepared. I told them I live in 3 acres and had to clear a line but they did not come prepared for that so in the end I don?t know if I will recommend them. When he came here, he was very nice but was not prepared for the job even though I had explained it to them when I had the time. So they had to go to Home Depot and they came back two hours later. They fixed everything and made everything okay at the end. He was very nice but I felt like I don?t know if I will use them again because I gave them the explanation and all the information ahead of time but they still came unprepared. I have a 3 acres property and it was 75 feet that they need to resolve. So it was within their capacity and with their huge truck that they should have the materials available. I think their price is reasonable and on the high end but I was still disappointed with the fact that they were not prepared. He was nice but it was like it was hard for him to go to Home Depot.

It was great. I liked the detail of analysis of the procedures and the desire to resolve issues. My interaction with them was great. The technician was awesome.

They were right on time and did what they were supposed to do. The quote was too high for us, so we decided to go with another provider.

Price was a bit high, so we went with another provider. The cost is based on the equipments and I am not sure if the same equipment was provided by the other person. In the future I may use them for a more complex job.

The service went pretty well. The guy got in here pretty quick and got it taken care of. We were pretty happy with the service. We have used them before and they have always showed up when they said they would and gotten things taken care of. He did a good job. We have used them in the past and hopefully we did not have to, but if we do need it, it would probably be them.

We needed a service call that night, and they would not come out until the next day. This is not in keeping with their advertising of making service calls during the evening.

I was told to expect them between 10am-2pm. I got a call from the company around 10:45am saying that the plumber would be there in approx 45 minutes. He showed up 3 hours later. Two plumbers showed up which surprised me. The leak was in a 1/2 bath so only 1 man could do work in there. I received a quote of $322 to fix the leak. It was a lump sum bill. It did not show pricing for material or labor. 1 plumber did all of the work while the other plumber stood in the doorway watching. Every now and then he would text on his phone. To my surprise it took them approx. 26 minutes to complete the job. By my estimation that would be a rate of over $750/hour to do this work. The material costs could be no more than $20-30. Obviously I paid for a plumber to stand and do nothing. This was my first experience with Len The Plumber. I would not use them again or reccomend them. I am all for companies making a profit but this was outrageous. I know from experience when the company does not show you its labor rates or a material breakdown then you are about to be screwed. The work was good and they sent somebody out next day...ashamed they had to be one of those companies that rip you off if they can. I would have been a regular customer for them. So my advice....if you have a family and you are looking for an honest plumber...stay away from Len The Plumber!!!

They were the only company I could find to come out and actually do the starting of my water pump.

All the work, including the initial estimate was done by one master plumber from start to finish. Plumber explained everything very clearly and patiently, including why the installation would take 2 days. The plumber was very skilled, very knowledgable and very neat. The finished product was nothing short of outstanding.

Good work but $400 to replace 2 lttle plastic pipes in 45 minutes?

Our pipe broke in the kitchen. We had to turn the water off to the entire house. The pipe broke around 9:40 am. By 1:30 pm the work was complete. The plumber came and assessed the damages. He told me exactly what he had to do to fix the pipe, gave me an estimate and I approved. He estimated 1 1/2 hours. He completed the work within 1 hour. He cleaned the floors where he bought snow in. He was very courteous and professional. I would definitely call them again.

I called the night before, late, when it started to leak and they came first thing in the next morning. So that was an unbelievable turnaround. Everything was absolutely fantastic and right on point with what I was expecting for pricing and everything. The only they do not do which some customers would find concerning is that when they give you a quote, they don’t itemize the cost of labor and materials. They basically give you a flat rate for however long it is going to take them to do the service and so you have to on your own figure out whether it is a fair price or not it is a fair price based on your research of the cost of materials and how long it takes them to do the job. That wasn’t a bad thing for me because I knew what I should be paying so it didn’t take me that long to figure it out but for somebody who doesn’t know that stuff, it could be a little concerning. I absolutely would recommend them for anything plumbing related.
