They CANCELLED on us TWICE on the same day. Waited from 8:30am to 12...they called and pushed us back from 2pm to 5pm. They called at 4:15pm to cancel a 2nd time! No More LEN for us!

This company promises emergency repair service 7 days a week. I called one afternoon as water gushed out of a pipe in our basement and was told: no emergency service was available that day. So... don't waste the energy in your fingers dialing them. Roto-Rooter came immediately.

The woman who answered the phone was frazzled and seemed like I was bothering her by calling. If it wasn't after hours for an emergency repair I wouldn't even have made an appointment based on that impression. However it was, so she did take my info and we made an appointment, but in fact, no one actually showed up, nor did they call. Definitely never attempting to use this company again.

This was one of the worst experiences I ever dealt with a "professional" services provider. They came in to snake and unclog my toilet. They ended up charging me $661 for a half hour of work. When they left, they had pulled up sewage and feces all over my bathroom floor and left it there! I eventually had to get a restoration company to come in and fix what they had left. If anyone would like to contact me for images of my nightmare, please feel free. DO NOT USE!

Will not use this company again. We called to have the kitchen sink faucet repaired in our rental unit. They initially said they would come between 2 and 5 that day. At 630pm that night still hadn't shown up so our tenants called and they could not give us an estimated arrival time. We rescheduled for the next day. Annoying but we realize they are probably busy and short staffed with the pandemic so could understand. What I do not understand though is they failed to give us a quote before completing the work. Turns out the faucet was not broken but simply needed the head to be reattached to the pull out hose. They charged us $200 to reattached the faucet hose. More than the cost of a new faucet. If they had quoted a price before doing the work as promised we would't have done the work given the high price.

They cleared the issue and insisted that we need to replace the toilet on the first visit, but the cameraman was not available until the next business day to assess the sewer lines that they had cleaned out. The cost of this portion of the service was approximately $1400. The cameraman who came on the second day told us that the entire sewer line needed to be replaced due to excessive rust, wear and asbestos pipe and quoted a minimum cost of $6800 for the exterior work alone to a depth of 9 feet, and nearly $14000 to replace the entire line EXCLUDING replacing the concrete that would have to be dug up. I'm SO GRATEFUL we got a second opinion and discovered that there was NOTHING WRONG with the sewer line that ran no deeper than 5' at its lowest point. I strongly caution others to avoid Len the Plumber at all cost - or at very least get a second opinion. I am so upset at this that I intend to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau as well.

He did a very good job. Took care of everything.

Went well, plumber was professional and very helpful. Gave me advice on how to fix the problem and waived the service fee.

He arrived on time for appointment; performed quickly and price was reasonable. Would hire again.

It went very well. He showed up on time and was efficient and helpful and solved my plumbing problem.

Roots were not removed as evidenced by video from camera put in the sewer line the following day. Company sent another technician to clear the roots but would not video the line again, so I have no way to know if the roots were really removed. I asked for a refund and was told that drain work is an ‘attempt’ and not guaranteed and that this was documented in my receipt. However, I was never told this before the work was done and I paid for the service. The technicians that came to do they work never indicated that the roots may not be removed or that the work was not guaranteed.

It was a great experience. We have a cottage on our property that we rent and the water heater failed. It's a small space, so I took measurements and looked through the box store websites for a replacement. We originally tried to purchase a water heater through a box store and use their contractors to have it installed. The sales person at the box store central office didn't handle the order correctly, and promised us a response within two business days. Unfortunately, two days took more than a week and constant calling from me to find out what was happening. In the end, they had the wrong size product and I was told that using their 800 number was the problem, even though their online catalog instructs you to call that number. Then we called Len the Plumber. They took our information and sent a technician, Shawn Crittenden, out the next day. He inspected the location and saw that it was a tight fit. He explained that he found a water heater that would fit, and that he'd return within the hour to install it. He was true to his word. He removed the old water heater and replaced it, and by the time our tenants returned that evening, they had hot water again. The work was great and he left the place clean. The water heater works great.

charge $400+ for a single Unclog, complete rip off.

Technician quoted high price to clear basement clogged toilet. I Accepted due to upcoming party I was having. All other toilets and sinks were draining just fine and not affecting the clogged toilet, so main sewer line was not clogged. He did a good job clearing the clog, however he kept trying to sale me other services Len The Plumber provides. He asked if he could use my bathroom and on the way back, he apparently stopped by my kitchen sink and opened the bottom cabinets to take a look at my garbage disposer because he informed me I had rust on my garbage disposer. He also said I needed my regulator replaced(not related to the clog). I declined his offers.

They did a great job and I felt confident with them. They did it quickly and they knew what they were doing. I would definitely hire them again.

They came on 16 April and fixed it. 3 days later it is clogged again. We call len the plumber and tell him he needs to come out and get it fixed. Well they will come out but it will cost us another $200. No way. They are suppose to stand by their work but apparently they don't. They didn't fix it right the first time and expect me to cough up another $200.

Called on a Sunday morning. They were polite, and although it was an emergency, and on a Sunday, they made it clear that as a practice they still do not have a surcharge for a situation like this. They got a service agent across quickly and he took care of the issue at a very reasonable cost. He was also gracious enough to apply a coupon to discount the service. I had never had any service done with them before, but after this interaction would have no problems recommending them to my friends and family.

Very prompt, very courteous but wanted $372.00 to do a job the I ended up doing myself for less than $25.00. They knew I had limited time to do it myself which is why I called them never imagining a small job like that would be so much. Charged me $49.00 for the estimate which was ok but the price for the actual job was just plain stupid!

Charged $500 to come in and attach a rubber sink trap and pipe that was leaking. didn't put it back how it was, used short cuts in my opinion to make it easier and charge a premium.

Our experience with Len the Plumber has been nothing short of terrible. Not only would I not under any circumstances avail myself of their services again, I strongly urge others to find another company. They are unresponsive, dismissive, condescending, rude, and -- at the end of the day -- completely unwilling to engage in the most basic customer service. After spending nearly $4000 for a plumbing job in which they failed, despite specific requests beforehand, to document the cause(s) of the damage, I have for four months sought to have them provide the most basic itemized receipt of their services, as requested by my insurance company. First they just said flatly they couldn't. I asked again and they finally conceded that they did in fact have the price information I was asking for but refused to provide it. They they told me what I was asking for was not what I really needed. Then they told me my insurance company was to blame. Then in one conversation they said they had "already given me what I was asking for" before telling me again "they weren't able to give me what I was asking for." I confess at this point I lost my temper. Finally, after months of calls, a "supervisor" gave me his email address and asked that the insurance company contact him directly. Our insurance company reached out to him directly weeks ago. No response. I have subsequently tried to contact him three separate times. No response. Their ridiculous refusal to provide a one-page receipt showing how they came to their pricing has cost us thousands of dollars through our resulting inability to substantiate our insurance claim. On top of it they have been horrendously rude throughout the process. Having been through a full-scale home renovation we have had our fair share of nightmares with contractors and other professionals. Never have I been treated so poorly by someone taking thousands of dollars of our money. Do yourself a favor and find a different plumber. (Note: I have never before left an online review for a company and registered with Angie's List for the sole purpose of leaving this review.)

Initially, I would have given them an A for the work, professionalism, and quality. I have to change all the ratings due to two issues. 1. Replaced hose bib ($300) - The hose bib broke at the 13 month mark. When we called to see if we could get a replacement since it was just 1 month past the 1 year mark. We were told someone will call us back. We never heard back from them. So we called again and got the same answer. 2. Sump pump with Back-up battery ($1800) - Three years later, the sump pump is failing again. Our previous pump last well over 10 years. The back-up batter they installed stopped working prior to their 1 year warranty on parts and labor. My husband and I called them to let them know the battery kept going off and that is wasn't working. They came out and told us nothing was wrong with it. About 18 months in, the battery just stopped working altogether. So now we have a back-up battery which does not work and worked for less than 2 years. When we tried to call Len the Plumber back regarding this issue, they said they would call us back and then again never responded. This has happened about five times, someone answers the phone, says they will have someone call us back and then we do not hear anything. Overall, we thought Len was a bit pricey but were willing to pay the cost because of their initial response time and other reviews we read. I would not recommend this company due to the quality of their product. It works great at first, but everything seems to break well before the average wear and tear of the products.

The back-up battery which was probably charged more than it should have been stopped working after 6 months. This was before the warranty expired, when we tried to call numerous times within the warranty, the company would take our name and contact information and never call us back. Overall the quality of the work they performed lasted no more than a year, which is just shotty work in my opinion. The only reason I didn't give an F was that when the plumber came out initially, we couldn't have been more pleased. He was kind, friendly, and seemed to do a great job.

Our technician was excellent in all respects. LEN the Plumber offers a free evaluation of the home plumbing system. We will most definitely have him come back when we are ready to proceed.

The replacement of our hot water heater tank went fairly well. at least until we found that we had a leak at the fittings at the top of the tank. Len the Plumber installed my hot water heater tank this afternoon. After the installation was completed we found that the pipe fittings at the top of the tank were leaking (Still leaking). We called their after hours hotline only to discover that they offer NO Emergency services to fix such inconveniences. We were told that someone would contact us tomorrow morning. Meanwhile we are left to deal with the leaking fittings. BOO to Len The Plumber. Do not use this company for your plumbing needs.

Needed to replace Hot Water Heater since it was very old. Chris the technician came out gave me quote, performed services same day. Very professional and did good work.
