Description of Work: The yard in the front of our house was slowly sinking and we were sure it was cuased by a crack in the sewer pipe right in the same spot. Len the Plumber came out and ran a video camera all the way through our pipes to inspect them and found no problems. We were ready to spend thousands to get our pipes replaced but they were honest and quickly saw no problems - an honest repair man - WOW! The only problem we had (and the reason for the B rating) was that they forgot to replace the access cover on the pipe they used to run their camera through and so water spilled on the basement floor and rug. Over all, they were professional and HONEST and quick - I will take that anyday!

Description of Work: The Plumber was very professional. He arrived on time. Inspected the work I proposed and gave me a price and time for completion. He did the work per our agreement. He replaced the well pressure tank, several faucets, and several leaks. I would use them in the future.

Description of Work: Replaced a leaking pipe in my kitchen sink. Did a great job

Description of Work: I called them at 7am for a water leak in our basement. The scheduler called me back by 7:20am and the plumber arrived by 8am. He evaluated the problem immediately and had it fixed by 10am. Everyone was very professional and knowledgeable. Could not have asked for better service!

Description of Work: Problem: Main sewer-line clog and damage inside house. Len The Plumber came the next morning and unclogged the sewer, as part of their service they include a camera inspection of the line. Len the Plumber's camera inspection found a tree root in the line. They said this needed to be repaired immediately, and I needed to have the entire cast-iron sewer line that extends from my house to the street replaced for an additional cost of $5500. I got other estimates and they all found there was nothing wrong with my sewer line except where the tree root entered. (No other trees nearby either). I went with another company who repaired all the damage, added about 15' of PVC pipe and put in 2 new clean outs for $1300. I think Len The Plumber does good work but is very costly compared to others and tries to get you to do more than is needed.

Description of Work: In addition to fixing the toilet the main line to the septic system needed to be cleared. My only complaint was that after the line was cleared I was left with a mess on the floor to clean up. As this mess was made by setting the tools he used on the floor I felt he should have dealt with the mess. They did however schedule a follow up to run a camera down the line to see if there was a possibility of further problems from roots or cracks. I did decide to allow them to replace the line and that work was done on schedule and very professionally. I was told up front that they would not replace the bricks in the patio that had to be removed.

Description of Work: The drain for our kitchen sink was clogged - suggested that we reconfigure the piping under the sink so it would be easier to clear any future clogs which we approved and he also replaced our garbage disposal. Very friendly and professional.

Description of Work: Cleared out drain pipe from sink to septic tank. Can't remember the date of service nor cost but it was worth every penny.

Description of Work: Service was efficient and prompt. Came on a Sunday to replace a garbage disposal unit, a job we were not able to do ourselves. I did question the cost of the unit. All of the ones available on the truck were at least 3X's the costs quoted on-line from places like Home Depot. We would use them again as they are reliable.

Description of Work: We were getting ready to go out of town for a few days and had a relative planning to stay at our house when we lost our hot water. We called Len the Plumber based on the Angie's list reviews. They responded very promptly and took care of the problem. Apparently there was build up carbon on the hot water heater which was preventing the water heater from heating to the proper temperature. While the plumber was here we decided to also have him unclog two slow draining bathroom sinks. The service man was very courteous and made sure he didn't leave any mess. If I needed someone in a hurry, I would definitely call Len the Plumber again.

Description of Work: He really couldn't determine why I had a toilet overflow. It has not happened again.

Description of Work: Came to my home within 2hours of phone call l showed the plumber my problem he took a look inside my home and outside. He determined that the problem was in the county sewer line.He gave me the imformation .I called the county and the problem was reolved the same day. Len the Plumber did not even charge for a service call. They will get the call again when needed. Could not be happier.

Description of Work: Replaced a garbage disposal. They came the day I called and gave me an option of 3 different disposals explaining the pros & cons of each.

Description of Work: Put in new water heater and checked out system throughout the house. They also cleaned out the drain that goes to the city service and advised us on other issues. We have used them in the past and will only use these people here in Baltimore as we have had bad experiences with other plumbers.
