Description of Work: Came out and gave me an estimate on a leaking pipe. Told me the pipe was split and in order to fix it the ceiling and walls would need to be torn out and an engineer would need to be brought in. This would have cost me thousands of dollars. Turns out it was just some packing material in a threaded connection that needed to be replaced (no split in the pipe at all) cost $75.00. The guy they sent out had absolutely no idea what he was talking about. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Description of Work: I had a toilet seal that was leaking and required the removal and reinstallation of the toilet. Service was prompt, effective, and professional. My only complaint is that $300 is pretty steep for less than an hour's work.

Description of Work: We had an inside leak in our basement due to PVC pipe for the outside water system. Len the Plumber looked at it. Said he could not fix it on the inside temporarily. The whole system needed to be replaced at approx $4,000. I asked my neighbor who did his and called that guy. He fixed the leak temporarily and then came out the next week to replace outside pipe at a cost of $2800. He was professional and quick to handle the problem. I don't remember the date. My husband talked to him. I had pneumonia.

Description of Work: Had to use an excavator to dig up the yard to replace the pipe that runs from the well to the house. All work was satisfactory as far as the plumbing. Only problem was that the yard could have been filled in better after being dug up. Otherwise showed up when promised for a holiday weekend and fixed the plumbing as promised. |

Description of Work: iscovered a small water spot to grout right in front of toilet. Decided to call Len to find out the problem and correct it. Turned out to be a defective toilet casting that caused a very small leak during flushes. When toilet was removed also discovered improper installation of closet flange by previous plumber during reno work (that was real poor workmanship by that other jobber!). The repair of that required reamiing out the used flange pipe. Len's crew (two guys) was able to correct that problem with no other damage to the plastic drains - whew!! The flange was replaced properly this time (toilet now sits flat on floor without shims) and a new toilet was installed. A very good job done professionally and efficiently. Will definitely use Len the Plumber for any future plumbing needs.

Description of Work: A clogged line from bathroom sink and running toilet flush were repaired. Worker unclogged the drain and installed a new Len The Plummer-issued toilet flush system. Both projects were completed in about 1 1/2 hours. It went well.

Description of Work: Repaired broken water line coming into the house. They had to dig up the front lawn (in the rain) and draw a new line through into where the water comes in the house in the crawl space. A dirty, messy job they did graciously, on time and respectfully. They had arrived about a half hour early. Three of them worked to get the job done in one day. They did badly scrape up the sidewalk in front of the hole they had to dig, I didn't see it happening but must have been from the machine they used to dig and dump the dirt. Even so, they were very professional and timely. They knew exactly what they were doing. I would use them again.
