First of all, I am also a real estate agent and have had a license in NY and MD for 20 years or so. Ms King brought some young men to a house I was trying to rent which I also own (and listed on MLS) Ms King added nothing to the transaction (I wound up renting to the 3 clients) except a great deal of aggravation and frustration. She was not at all timely in getting the leases prepared and signed nor getting the rent and security deposits from the clients. When she finally called and told me she had everything, and that I was to travel to HER office to sign (even though I was the guy who paid the fee, she made me come to her). When I got there I discovered that not only did she NOT have all the money, the checks were made out incorrectly and the lease had clauses in it I never agreed to. I told her to get everything corrected and call me when she had it done right. She did so a week or so later, gave me a very inconvenient time to meet her and then called me 10 minutes before the meeting to ask me if we could postpone it. When I asked her how many choices I had, she said "none". When the meeting was finished she actually had the gall to point out that it only took 15 minutes (this is after her being 45 minutes late). The only reason this deal did not fall apart and the tenants did not have to scramble at the last minute to find housing is because I felt sorry for them and they appeared to be decent guys. I will NEVER use her or (if this is how they supervise their agents) her company again. The clients agreed that they, too, thought her impossible to deal with and will not use her again.
