Kelemer Brothers replaced eleven windows in our home. It's a shame, but in this day and age you almost expect to be taken advantage of by companies and quick talking salespeople. What an unexpected surprise to find a company that offers a quality product at a really good price and follows through with quick and expert installation. The installers couldn't have been more professional or courteous. They were done in hours, including excellent cleanup. Joe kept an eye on progress and made sure we were happy with everything. We don't write a lot of reviews, but we were so very happy with Kelemer Brothers, that we just had to share our experience. I would highly recommend them.

The whole process went very smoothly from estimation to installation. Price was competitive. Gabriel Kelemer was a pleasure to do business with. No concern whatsoever. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the work done.

From start to finish, I was very happy with the Kelemer Brothers. They were one of 3 companies that we had come by to give us quotes, and we decided to go with them due to a combination of reviews we read, cost of service, and the overall feel we had after meeting with them. We dealt directly with Gabriel, who gave us all the information we were looking for during our quote and after, when we came up with more questions for him. The installation went very smoothly. Joe was a fantastic professional. He talked me through the entire process. You can tell when he started talking that he was incredibly knowledgeable. We replaced 15 windows with the Vytex-Potomac windows. Joe did not try to up-sell anything and really worked with us to make sure what got what was needed. Upon finishing the installation (which was one day!), Joe noticed some parts of the window that weren't up to his standards. He came by and fixed it within a week. Overall a great company, and one that I trust!

Guys did an amazing job installing the windows. Great communication skills when scheduling and being on time. I ended up going with Vytex Fortes windows and so far i am very happy. They made it look so easy and were able to install all 41 windows in 2 days. The installation crew was courteous and cleaned up after themselves well. Would highly recommend and certainly use again.

I was extremely impressed and more than happy with choosing Kelemer Brothers for my Windows. How many companies today can do what they say and mean it - not many - but Kelemer (Joe) did beyond my neutral expectations. Neutral, because let’s face it in today’s quick talk sell and mediocre work and disposal society, there isn’t much to rely on. When people do show up, the work generally isn’t good quality and it’s a constant getting after them to do what they should be doing without telling them again and again. And then there’s a gold nugget.... Joe picked up on my call and responded to an Angies List message. From the moment we spoke he explained their method of business and assured me he was who I would deal with from the beginning of the process to the end. And he was right. There are no “sales” people. The “brothers” handle their own business giving it a true ownership to customer go-to for everything. Joe came by the property, measured and talked to me about the windows and lifetime warranty and how it all worked. He even had a display window to show me just what I would be buying. I was already in a time crunch after finding I needed to replace all 8 windows for this rental that I needed to get back on the market and rented. He told me to be safe with a timeframe It would be 6-8 weeks but would put a rush and possibly get them sooner. I ordered 3/25 and was not required to give a down payment. This helped me greatly since the windows were very unexpected and needed to rearrange my budget. Joe kept in touch and I only contacted him at the 3 week timeframe to check the progress. Next thing I know he was contacting me to let me know on 4/25 (a month to the day of order) his 3 installers would be at the property to install the windows. Now for the best part of the install. They showed up and got set up and covered my stairs with a drop cloth. They began removing the old windows and one of the three gentlemen would gather the remnants and put them outside. During the entire install my property was kept clean and even floor clean up throughout . This was a great team. It took approximately 4-5 hours (I lost track of time since I was doing other things). After they were done I was shown how they work by one “lead” who said Joe would be on his way to do close out. And I had already received a message from Joe just before they ended. They cleaned up and were on their way to the next job. Not one window sill, wall, door frame, floor, was damaged during this entire process. I expected at least to do some touch up painting and maybe patch some drywall - I am not kidding when I say I had to do nothing other than wipe dust from the sill. Hire this company, or more to the point , hire Joe. Because that’s what you get - a person and not just a company. When Joe arrived he had a dozen beautiful pink roses for me as a thank you to me for choosing their service. This was a great service indeed and with no pressure. I paid the amount owed and Joe also showed me how to operate the windows and we walked around to each and every window to check them out and answer questions I had about care and warranty. I told Joe I will be calling them when I able to have the kitchen sliding door replaced - I won’t be here since I don’t live near the rental property but after the care Joe took to assure the process was swift and clean, I have no qualms about calling him when the door will be replaced. I hope I have not set the bar further up too much for them but it is not too often I get to write a great review. I did not include a price since it was a special but I will say a range of $2500 - $4000 and I can say for the other quotes I received from other companies, this was by far a better price and quality including the warranty that was limited with the other companies.

These guys provided outstanding customer service! We didn't have many windows to replace in our tiny condo, but I didn't feel we were treated any different than if we were buying twice as many windows. Even 7+ years after we had our windows installed, Joe Kelemer himself came out to take care of an issue I had with a couple of my windows. It is so refreshing to encounter this kind of service these days.

I had a great experience, after contacting 3 others companies and spending long hours listening to their information, which just brought more and more question's to me, I called Kelemer brothers and Joe came, while he was taking measurements he was solving doubts and telling me the process. after that he gave me prices, which were more reasonable than others, I didn't have to give a deposit, then the day of the installation came, and in one day it was done. so far I am happy with it.

Gabriel and Kelemer Brothers were the most professional home improvement company I have worked with. They are no-nonsense-just-get-the-job-done-right from start to finish. The prices were the most competitive I found and the quality superior. I am a year overdue with this review but I have made referrals during the past year since my work was completed. I previously had Kelemer Brothers install new windows in my old home a few years back, and everything went great. Since then, I moved out of state and bought a new house. I've had ongoing window issues with the house that I've been going back and forth with the builder on, and a few months back I decided to try emailing Joe to see if he could give me some advice on how to proceed. Joe is a true gentleman. I've contacted him twice in the last 8 months for advice, and both times he responded to my email with a phone call the same day and talked through all my questions. He didn't have to do this, and I really appreciate the gesture. If you're in Maryland and need new windows, give Kelemer Brothers a call. They won't disappoint. Truly nice people.

After listening to sales pitches from five potential contractors, I selected Kelemer Brothers because of the no-nonsense, truthful approach to selecting the right windows for the house without upselling. Despite a cold winter, the Kelemer team installed the windows quickly and prioritized the work to avoid any disruption to household activities. Great sales and service by both the installation team and Joe who performed oversight and customer satisfaction assurance!

When our new windows were installed four months ago, we knew that the personal service was excellent - no high-pressure sales pitch, attentive to our desires & budget, friendly & considerate, skilled installation of beautiful windows by caring workmen. Now, after evaluating the effectiveness of our new windows during periods of extreme cold, I'm happy to report that we're thrilled! This is our tenth winter in our home - and the first winter that we've been comfortable. And our heating bill is lower!

They did an excellent job and were very professional. They didn't waste any time and they did a very good job on the cleanup. After the work was done, he even brought us wine and roses. We would definitely use them again and we would recommend them.

Chose Kelemer Brothers based on great Angie's list reviews. Estimate visit performed by one of the owners, very professional and friendly. I actually did not shop around for other estimates but was happy with the cost for 6 replacement windows. They use Vytex windows, which I researched before the visit, and I chose the mid-grade based on reviews of that company's 3 variations. Manufacture of windows was within estimated timeframe, but installation was a bit delayed due excessive rain during the timeframe, which is uncontrollable with this work. Installer was great, knew what he was doing and worked quickly and professionally, but took the appropriate time to deal with existing sill problems and warping from prior leaks. Clean-up was very thorough inside and out. Owner visited same afternoon upon completion of the job to inspect and make sure we were happy with the work. We are replacing one sash that had a blurry mark on the pane, and he ordered it immediately. Vytex has already contacted me for a service date. Would definitely hire again. Lifetime transferable warranty is a plus.

Joe Kelemer and his crew were polite, efficient, and did a great job -- we are satisfied with our new windows, which were installed into our condo. Joe came back to performed a minor tune-up six months after installation (no charge). The windows were a bit expensive, but definitely worth the high quality.

Joe Kelemer first came out to give us the estimate. He was thorough and explained all aspects of the process to us. The estimate was not our lowest quote but was very competitive. He worked with us to select an installation date, and the 3-person crew arrived right on time at 9:00 AM. They were very professional, and the windows were installed in one full day. We're very happy with the experience and the windows.

The job went beautifully, in a Victorian house, circa 1912. A cheap vinyl replacement window had warped, would no longer close and lock or keep air out. It had not been installed properly. I had 3 companies/handymen come in, look at the job, and turn down the work, as it was intricate to get the old window out without destroying the woodwork, and tricky to fit the new one in. Nothing in this house is square, i.e., 90°. The fit by Kelemer's workman was a work of art. The window Kelemer Brothers used was much better than the one they ripped out. Afterwards, Gabriel Kelemer personally gave my tenant and I a full tour of the window and how it works.
