It ended up costing quite a bit more than the big deal. My house was bigger than the square footage in the big deal. I did not calculate the square footage so, it was more than I had expected.

I purchased the big deal for $49 which included a roof inspection, patch ups, caulking around the chimney and a few other things. Kelby roofing came out to do the work but instead of doing the work, wanted to replace the entire roof. They provided me with an estimate to replace the roof and an estimate to do the initial work that was included in the big deal. The estimate that they gave me for the work in the big deal was a few hundred dollars and they said they no longer did business with Angies list so they wouldn't honor the big deal. Although I was satisfied with the price for the roof replacement, I didn't think it was necessary at the time. I didn't go with the work because I was a little disturbed that I purchased a big deal and they wouldn't honor it. A year later, my roof started leaking in a couple places and I remembered Kelby gave me a good estimate. I called them to give me an estimate again and I was satisfied with their estimate. The guy showed me the materials they would use and I was satisfied. I asked if I could get the $49 credit that I paid for the coupon and was told no. I just learned that Angies list will refund unused coupons so I didn't make it out to be a big deal. I was surprised to find that the materials that they man showed me was different from the materials that were used. I guess I was tired that day or just didn't feel like arguing because I paid the guy although I wasn't pleased that he changed the work order without notifying me.

The job done by Kelbie was great from start to finish. Mr. Mike Kelbie was very responsive to all my e-mails from the very moment of the contract even on weekends. His price was less than other contractor?s estimates that I obtained. The day of the job, Mike was available in person and by E-mail. Mike?s team of workers did an excellent job. I would highly recommend Mike?s company to others for all roof work.

They did a fine job and I was very happy with the price.

He explained that what I really needed was not what the Big Deal was for so I received a refund. They were kind and polite.

They came out but they did not let me know they came by. So I had to call and have them come again to do the work again. Overall, scheduling was good and getting a hold of them.

.Brought two-man crew. Got on roof, but didn't repair anything (wasn't part of the deal) Just did the inspection. Kelbe tried to sell me a new roof for $10,000 based on a few cell phone snapshots. I didn't feel comfortable paying that without having other quotes. Ultimately, had another - non-AL - contractor come out later who at least caulked a few nail hole areas where he saw it was needed and tool more comprehensive photos. I ended up using him for roof repair as price was $4000 less.

When I initially called for an appointment, I didn't get a response and had to call back several weeks later. When they finally came out, they told me that the posts on the deck would be extra, and tried to charge me significantly more. After reviewing the deal from Angie's list, they agreed to do the entire deck.

I was not completely happy with it. I did not like the way they did it. It was not within the stipulation of the big deal. If I had read the details of the big deal, I probably would not have bought it. The details of the big deal were ambiguous. I was not happy with the job that he did. When it came to the power wash, they did not pay attention to the wood. They etched into my wood a bit. He was just spraying and got the green mildew off the deck. He did the job and did not break the wood. I would not use them again.

This was the worst experience I've ever had with a service organization. The owner was the most rude person I've had to experience in a very long time.

They were prompt, courteous, pleasant and corrected the problem we were having with a leak in our bedroom caused by our gutters.

We purchased the gutters because we wanted better flow and wanted to prevent them from being clogged. I am not sure if the gutters were lopsided before and they were just following the existing angles, but we noticed they were not angled correctly. We had to hire someone else to install larger gutters and completely re do their work.

It turned out excellently. Everything looks fine. This was the first time I'd used this provider. I haven't had any issues since the service was provided.

They did a good job. They showed up on time and they were out of there.

They said they were to far away from our area and they could not perform the service. I called them and they left a voicemail saying they could not do the work.

He recommended a new roof. I think the whole idea was for him to come out and say they can do the repairs. There were no additional charges. They were very prompt. He was a little pushy.

It did not go well at all. There was an additional charge for the additional square footage. I remember that I finally convinced him that his way of determining square footage was less adequate. He was trying to reap us off. He wanted to add...I'm guessing...half of the about 25 feet deep and the triangular expansion would be close to 15 feet so that is another 320 square feet. He was going to charge a substantial amount more than that and I wanted it done but it is only really half of the square footage. We argued about it and finally I told him that he's going to do it or I will not pay. Finally, he did it on the original agreed price for added footage but we took an argument. I am an engineer and I know what the square footage was...I know how to do these things & it was just simple but he argued with me, he thought I was wrong and he convinced me.

We did not end up using this service.

Everything turned out well. They did the work as promised, the price was very good, and they didn't leave behind any messes.

The job was done efficiently and cleanly. A set of photos was sent to me upon completion (I could not have viewed the new roof directly).

they were fine, not impressive argued about how many windows "counted" as I have large windows that they counted as 3 separate instead of 1 no problems with service, but not impressive either.

They were good. They get an 'A'. Kelbie Home Improvement Inc just came and cleaned the gutters and the only problem with that was that they made an appointment and then they never showed up and I had to call them to follow up and then email him and he emailed me back with a picture of his time in the hospital which is weird. It's just that an email would have been fine or he could have just called me and told me that there was an accident and he couldn't show up then I rescheduled and they were on time and then everything went fine.

I have four estimates to do a new roof and decided to go with someone else. Kelbie was my number two choice. My number one choice had a life time warranty on product and installation. Plus the warranty was transferable if I sold my house within 10 years.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and the roof looked wonderful after they were done. The interaction with the provider was good and easy. I think I paid over the Big Deal price because I have a lot of roof, but the price was pretty reasonable. They came out pretty quick after I purchased the deal.
