Description of Work: I purchased the winter roof sealing, caulking and more maintenance package from the big deal on Angie's list. I sent an email when I purchased it and explained i also had some missing metal wrap on my chimney. I got an immediate response from Michael in which he explained the service and that any additional work would be extra. I acknowledged the additional cost and we left it that he would get back to me with the schedule. The next I heard was a call from my wife that they were at the house. She said they were very nice and quick -they were about 30 minutes. I received an email with some pictures later saying he had sent a crew out and the roof "looked like it had some time on it" and asking if I wanted a quote for a new roof. I responded that I was happy to get an estimate and asked what was the story with the chimney wrap I had asked about. I received the estimate and no explanation o f my request. I was out of town so when I returned I verified nothing had been done with my original issue. I emailed him on New Year's Day and said we would not be placing the roof yet -he never said it needed replaced, just had age on it - and that he had never addressed the issue I brought to him at the beginning As of today (1/7/2012) he has not responded. I was hoping he would address why he did not tell me when he was coming or why he did not fix or provide an estimate for the chimney issue but nothing. I am disappointed.

Description of Work: Great price, excellent serivce. The older gentlement was fantastic, the younger service tech was very good, but he did leave a couple of dirt spots from the window cleaning on our white carpet. That said, I would still give them an A and would use them again in the future.

Description of Work: Whole experience professional, from beginning to end. High quality work done soon after I called them. Gentleman was low key and very nice - did not even try to drum up future business. He pressure washed my whole house including deck, quckily, since was going to have painting done soon. Any more coupons coming ??? Thx!!

Description of Work: I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for gutter guards, but cancelled it when I learned that the product they would be using was not the one I had in mind. I have nothing bad to say about this vendor. I have every reason to believe that they would have provided me a good service.

Description of Work: They cleaned the gutters, put in a protective screen and also covered the flat porch roof. It's been a while since they did the service but I remember their work and attitude and because of both I will use them again.

Description of Work: Coupon price was $198.oo to pressure wash house. Arrived on time, very professional, went about their business. Washed house and shed. In additon they did a roof inspection, which I was surprised of but thankful for. For a different charge they did replace some of the seals around my vents on the roof. Very pleased and would recommend. They also let me know about a lifetime warrenty shingle that is out now, which I will have to remember, if/when I have to have my roof done.

Description of Work: Kelbie Home Improvement Inc. immediately called me to set up an appointment after we placed the order via Angie's list web site. They did their work as they said. Also, they provided me with digital pictures of the areas on my roof that needed attention or repair. They sealed areas that needed sealing, around the pipes for example, on the roof. In addition, they did, free of charge, clean the gutter since they were on the roof even though that was not part of the work. That was ruly helpful since we had the gutters filled with leaves specially in the back of the house. They went beyond what was asked of them, and that to me was a great customer service. At the end, they also said that if we wanted to replace the roof, they could give us an estimate and do the work itself. I was very pleased with their work and I would recommend them.

Description of Work: I had 2 very polite men come to power wash my house. They did an excellent job. They even did extra and did my shed. They moved furniture off my porch and put it back. I was very happy with the job and have passed on the service to friends etc.

Description of Work: I purchased the special deal for the roof inspection and caulking. I made an appointment for a Saturday since I was having some roof issues and wanted to be there to speak to the roofer. I explained this on the phone when I made the appointment. I get an email from Kelbie at 10:30 Friday, 2/10 telling me they already completed the work, since it was going to rain the next day, they went ahead with the appointment. They never called ahead of time or asked to reschedule. They also sent me pictures claiming it was my roof. I live in a city row house - it could have been anyone's roof. I expressed my disappointment, informed him this was completely unprofessional and insisted he keep the Saturday appointment as scheduled. He initially refused. I told him his customer service was terrible at which point he argued with me about how good his customer service is since he'd been in business for however many years. I contacted Angie's list and asked for a refund, which they refused claiming the service had already been done. They had no way of knowing this since the city roofs look very similar. It wasn't until after I called Angie's list that Kelbie agreed to return on Saturday at the originally scheduled appointment. At which time they went on the roof and found lots of areas that needed caulking and were able to identify where my leaks were coming from. Once he was there, he seemed to perform the work advertised and my leaks did stop. He offered me quotes to repair and replace the roof. I did not follow up and would not hire him again.

Description of Work: Bought this as an Angie's list deal for power washing. They did a great job and I talked to the owner on the phone about doing a larger area than the coupon covered and they did it for a great price.

Description of Work: Kelbie performed the roof maintenance package satisfactorily and while they were up there they cleaned my gutters. I recommend them.

Description of Work: The owner of this company, Mike Kelbie, came to our home and explained the steps regarding delivery of shingles and other items prior to the day of installation, how plants, bushes, etc. would be protected with tarps and finally how everything would be cleaned up like new at the completion of the project. He also showed us the selection of colors we had for the GAF Lifetime architectural shingles and how any of the boards for the actual roof that needed to be repaired prior to installation would be taken care of. When the day came a crew of 6 spent about 8 hours removing the old shingles, fixed various places needing repair, installed two ridge vents as well as reshingling the entire roof including a 12 x 36 patio roof. We also had them repair the cement cap on our chimney a few days later when the weather was going to be dry for at least a couple of days. Everything occurred just as explained and we're very happy with our new roof (no leaks after a few hard rains!) and especially the 3D effect of the architectural shingles as compared with the look of simple flat shingles. We've already recommended this company to a couple neighbors and our next door neighbor recently had their roof redone using this company.

Description of Work: Reroofed my house. Removed old shingles, tar paper, attic fan and TV antennae. Replaced with quality shingles, added drip strips and roof ridge vents on both house and garage. On time, on budget, cleaned up really well, crews were polite, clean cut and professional. I need to replace windows in my family room and will try Mike Kelbie again.
