Great job! The team showed up promptly (actually a little early) as scheduled, got right to work giving me an estimate of additional work not covered by the coupon, completed the work removing all equipment without damaging my shrubs or flower bed. We had an excellent experience.

I am Very pleased with the work he did inspecting the roof of a house that i am trying to buy...he inspected and took pictures of the roof and told me all the problems with the bad roof of the house, then he forward me all the pictures so that i could send them to my loan officer ...like i said before i am very please and happy with their service....

Decent job doing work, but dealing with contractor was a little bit of a pain. The special did not specify whether the square footage was overall or just exterior. After calling to set up appointment, they failed to tell their crew when to show up at our home. The crew did a decent job though.

Mr. Kelbie responded very quickly and I showed him pictures of my house so that he could give me prices. We discussed my situation by email and he was always very responsive. There was no hard sell (which I appreciated very much). I thought we agreed on a certain day but one of his trucks showed up unexpectaly - fortunately I was home. There were two workers - with one being the supervisor. They helped me move items in my carport which helped me a lot due to a bad back, etc. When they were done I was very pleased and the siding looked great. I wrote a check and they cleaned up their equipment and left. I was very pleased and would use them again.

I have a flat roof over a very nice sunroom that's leaked since we moved into our current home over 7 years ago. Upon dicovering water in the sunroom, we took estimates from three roofing companies. The quotes came in between $1200 - $5000 to repair the roof. Having moved into our new home with a limited income, I decided to go the least expensive route. Well, as the saying goes "you get what you paid for." The leak continued shortly after the new roofing material was put on. I had a five year warranty on the product and they came back once to repair. After it leaked again, they would not return my calls. Six years later, I hired someone (not a roofer) who told me with confidence that he could fix the problem. Unfortunately, the leak continued after the second repairs. I paid about $1400 for this job. Again, after receiving multiple quotes ranging from $1400 up to $3500. Most recently, I decided to use Kelbie Roofing. The owner, Mike Kelbie, provided a quote of $3500 for repairing the roof, certifying and warrantying the work for 15 years and included a free power wash of the entire house. Kelbie Roofing was courteous, responsive and professional. I observed most of the installation and noted how meticulous the process was. Kelbie's installers clearly took pride in their work. Kelbie Roofing provided me a quote a year ago and chose not to use him. In hindsight, I wish I gave the job to a professional roofing company who does mostly roofing for a living. I learned a few things from this experience: -- going with the least expensive quote may not solve the problem. -- Hire the expert to do the job. I learned that roofing is an art and if done incorrectly will lead to water penetration. -- Ensure whoever you hire is licensed and bonded. If they are doing work in Maryland, then ensure they are also registered with the Maryland Home Improvement Commission (MHIC). -- Clearly get the warranty information in writing.-- Any roofing work should be certified that it will not leak. I hope this was helpful. I highly recommend Kelbie Roofing to anyone looking for a professional.

They came as scheduled and did an excellent job. My house looked fresh and new. They were careful not to damage my foundation plantings and I'm very pleased with the whole result.

They showed up in the morning and had the entire roof done by mid afternoon. They really did a good job. I am very impressed with the work. It is a family operation and they take pride in their work.

I emailed the owner of the company, Mike Kelbie, immediately after I purchased the deal. They were already booked solid for several weeks, but we were able to get a day scheduled to have the service done. I removed all of the furniture on the deck and waited for the company to come- they never showed. That Monday, I emailed Mike to see what happened. He offered to reschedule for a few weeks later, but since it was late Fall, we decided to do it the following Spring. A few months later (April), I emailed Mike to schedule another day. I also asked if he could give me an estimate to stain the deck, too. We agreed on a day to have the service done and I removed the furniture. They never showed up. I didn't get an email or a phone call. Mike was a really nice guy and responded to emails very quickly. However, after not showing up during two scheduled visits, I had to call Angie's List and get my money back.

Everything went smoothly. I purchased an Angie's deal for exterior home pressure washing. We corresponded by email to set up the date. Two workmen arrived a little early that day, which was fine. They spent 2 1/2 hours cleaning the house. We have quite a few plants and a small pond which we covered and they were careful to avoid crushing the plants. While they were there, they noticed that our gutters were full and offered to clean them at a discounted price which we agreed to. They were a good, hard-working crew. I was very satisfied.

This service was from an "Angies Big Deal." I purchased and emailed the company and received a very fast response. They arrived timely and tried to begin service. However their pressure washer was not working. There was no inconvenice to me. The work was performed and was very good. They even cleaned the brick. I asked them to clean the gutters and received a discount price. I would recommend them and would use them again.

For the last two days a very professional, very nice team of people worked extremely hard on my house and did an excellent job! Thanks Mr. Kelbie, and thanks to your outstanding crew!! Highly recommended!!!

After initial glitches with the trailier backing down the driveway and running into a mature boxwood , the service was excellent, punctual and the crew did a good cleanup job being mindful of the mature landscaping. They ended up charging us extra since the roof had three layers of shngles not the standard two .

Took a couple of calls to get a response; however once on the job, they were on the ball. They told me the name of the person to expect and he showed up (with ID in hand) when he said that he would. The workers were considerate and professional. They reviewed the entire house before starting and pointed out places where extra care would be needed due to loose siding or flaking paint. The house looks great and I will consider using these guys when time comes to re-paint the exterior.

Contacted Mike Kelbie for my free roof estimate. I recieved the best price from Kelbie out of 5 roofing estimates. Mike was thorough with his contract, and helped me get my roof and roofing tiles approved by Columbia Association. He provided me with samples to submit. Which then was approved by the association. Mike then ordered my new roof which included a free replacement skylight for an existing skylight. Within a month, my skylight and roofing tiles arrived. Kelbie worked 2 days on my roof until the job was done. With the impending rain, the roofers worked until past 7pm to ensure the job would be completed before the weekend rain arrived. Kelbie also did an excellent job on the clean up. Not one nail or tile could be found as I walked around my property. I would definitely recommend Kelbie to anyone looking for a new roof. My parents are also having a new roof put up by Kelbie next month.

I was relieved to learn from Mr. Kelbie that the installation of a new roof would not incur additional costs to work around the solar panels and the deck on the second level. The contractor for prior work on this residence alluded to some complexity in the installation options of a new roof in the year past. Mr. Kelbie provided me an assessment of the concerns of the roof. He indicated the flashing and slope of the roof where I had the new construction was improper. Specifically, the bleedout was improperly installed he reported. It was clear from the interior of the second floor ceiling in the closet that there were moisture issues. Efforts of the prior firm that worked on new construction with a cricket failed to capture enough of the water to drain away from the house. A portion of the roof un related to the new construction was identified as a concern earlier by that firm. I was apprehensive that a delay in securing a new roof would accrue additional damage to the structure of the residence and the financing options of Kelbie Home Improvement made it earlier to move toward a proactive effort to protect the residence. I agreed to have him do the job and he honored the deal offered even though the date expired on the Deal. There are a few hiccups that gave me pause but nothing to say at the end of the day an overall A is merited particularly given the 20 year warrenty. The old roof was not removed. (My understanding now is that was not the best way to do it - but I did not know enough to articulate that concern - if I asked he mighted have done it) So do ask! The financing company Kelbie Home Improvement has partnered financed above the amount needed by approximately $250. (But I will say they were so easy to work with!!!!!!) No stress! Mr.Kelbie made adjustments to ensure the contract costs would be what I would pay. Mr. Kelbie also was prompt in getting me photos of the work completed. I was eventually able to get through to the firm that worked on the cricket so that they had feedback on the installation issues that pertained to their work. The firm was familiar with Mr. Kelbie. Mr. Kelbie did provide me more details of the problems he identified subsequant to the completion of the work. Mr. Keilbie's and his staff were courteous and easy to work with.

Scheduling the event took a whille as I bought in on an Angie Big Deal "Roof Replacement" in November of 2011 but the estimate did not occur until February 25th. Not the fault of the vendor or service provider...I wanted to avoid any issues related to Winter during the roof replacement. A very thorough estimate was conducted and they stayed within the estimated price. The roof replacement began 4/07/12 a day before the Easter Holiday, which made me a little nervous, because we had friends coming over the next day. The biggest concern I had was that they showed up at 6:45 in the morning unannounced...I knew they where coming that day but did not know what time. They showed up with a seven man crew and got busy....they removed the old roof within a couple of hours and finished the entire house to include a thorough cleanup by 6:00 PM. I was amazed at the speed and efficiency of the effort. They left without any notice. I did a walk around inspection and found out they didn't replace the roof on the shed and sent them an email to let them know my concern. Mike Kelbie quickly responded that that was an oversight and he would let me know when they would be back to complete the shed. They showed up on the following Tuesday (two days after Easter) and completed the shed in less than an hour. Short of some coordination "snafus" which I consider to be minor...these guys were AWESOME. I would definitely used they again!

I contacted Kelbie Roofers on a Friday afternoon for an estimate to re-rubber my rowhouse flat roof which was really old, pealing and burnt up. Once I gave him the details of the roof he provided quotes for different materials that varied in the level of guarantee. I chose the cheaper option with an included a 10 year materials guarantee and 5 years on their labor for considerably less than estimates I received from three other companies. He said he could have a crew out the next day (a Saturday). The crew arrived early and was done by noon. Kelbie texted pictures and kept me updated as the work progressed. I inspected the roof and didn't find any immediate problems or shortcuts. My only complaint is they didn't clean up the debris that was swept off the roof. My back yard and gutters have a lot of old tar bits and a few nails that were swept off the roof. Overall, a great value and I would use them again.

I cannot say anything about their price since I didn’t compare. I would rate them high and I would use them in the future.

although the company was slightly overwhelmed by the Big Deal response, Mike (the owner) did a very good job communicating with us about start time and kept us up to date as the backlog got worked down. the actual installation was remarkably smooth-they obviously have the process down to a fine science at this point. the installation team was very careful of our landscaping and when they were done, there was virtually no evidence that we had a new roof put on. the new roof looks great and we plan to recommend this company to our neighbors who need to replace their roofs like we did.

Excellent work and good client engagement. They were a bit late on the day of the appointment but did everything expected and on time. In fact they did some works around the skylight that was not in the initial quote. I had to call twice to confirm the appointment but they managed to come under a very short notice (ie. they tried to accommodate the request, which naturally meant squeezing an additional appointment in their schedule). They showed me the problem and explained what they would do. They also took pictures when the job was completed. I was very satisfied with the work done and will use them again

Mike Kelbie provided a quote that was all inclusive via email. When I confirmed solid interest, he came out to review the quote, and to select the new shingles. I decided to upgrade underlayment roofing felt from 15lb to 30lb as many online comments recommended that for new roofs. The cost was small ($100) and it could save a leak in the future. The quote was otherwise fully inclusive of all materials included in his add, including roof edging, flashing and replacement boots around vent pipes. He also uses an upgraded architectual shingle (GAF HD series) that look great. They even repaired a part of the roof sheathing that the original builder messed up so that the roof would look good. The contractor protected the areas where the removed roofing materials could fall, and cleaned up spotlessly afterwards. The entire work crew was professional. There were no surprises. We are very pleased.

The job went very well from start to finish. Our house has a large stone chimney which extends through the central portion of the roof. I particularly appreciated the time, and attention to detail, the crew took in installing roofing materials and flashing around the chimney. In addition to tightly securing roofing material and sealing flashing around chimney, the crew also filled existing cracks and applies an new layer of cement around flu at top of chimney to prevent any water moving down chimney.

Very pleased with the work and the responsiveness of the company. Mike Kelbie returned calls promptly, kept me posted by email about when the work would start, and send photos of various aspects of the roof when the work was done. His crew cleaned up so well that I didn't even realize the work had been done until Mike sent photos. I appreciated that he honored the estimate he had given me over 12 months earlier (didn't even need to ask). I plan to call Kelbie again.
