It went very well. The guys were very good. I was having a problem with the gutters, one was overflowing. They found a birdsnest in the gutter, which was causing the problem.

They did a great job and weren't here very long. They installed a great gutter guard system.

I tired to used the service and they did not service the area. This should have been listed in the deal.

They did a good job at a reasonable price.

Service was performed quickly after I contracted with Kelbie. As stated above there was some confusion as to the work to be performed but in the end the contractor redid the work to my satisfaction. I would use Kelbie in the future.and would recommend them highly.

Company did not show up on scheduled date do to equipement problems. Job was rescheduled three times and then company showed up to work on a day we did not expect them.Performance of work and the workers did do a fine job. This company needs to work on communication skills.

Someone else did the work I needed done. When I called to cancel they were professional and accommodating.

I asked them to have the Boss call me, he did very promptly. He also informed me I needed a new roof and offered a very good deal about $2k less than the typical cost. I asked how could the crew have done a thorough job and their maintenance part in under 10 mins, he explained there were 3 of them and they re-nailed nails and something else. He explained he had pictures he could send me to show all of the raised nails and other roof issues caused by regular age and wear. I explained I had the house re-roofed twice in the past 10 yrs and expected his maintenance package to address the regular wear issues. He pressed on the great deal to re-roof, I explained I could not afford it due to cancer medical bills. He said he would send the pictures but did not. I was disappointed in both the contractor and Angie's List. These contractors make their money on the new roofs not the maintenance part and I did not feel they sincerely performed the service.

When I spoke to the company, they said this was only for an inspection and a report and that no actual work was to be done. I believe however that the advertisement did say some caulking would be done. I indicated i wanted to be there as I wanted to point out the area I wished to have re-caulked. They were very insistent that no one needed to be there as this was to be just an inspection with no actual work done. They came without notifying me when they would be there and conducted primarily a roof inspection and took many pictures. They submitted a report which said they did do some re-caulking and provided pictures which they said showed a need to replace the roof. They called me and rather forcefully indicated I should allow them to replace my roof. It was obvious their main purpose was to try and get me to have them replace the roof.

Uneventful. No problems. Shown photographs of repairs necessary.

UPDATE ON MY EXPERIENCE 1 Jan 2013: as I stated above I called two times to schedule the service. I did not receive a response about when they scheduled the service or any notice that it was completed until AFTER I posted a negative review on Angie's List. Then I received several phone calls and 2 email follow ups. It was not until AFTER my review posted that I was given the pictures of the completed work and an estimate of the follow up work to be done. My dissatisfaction was not based upon the fact that the house "needed more work." I would expect any company doing work on my house to notify me when they expect to start work and when they expect it to be complete. I understand that the roof maintenance package I purchased was not an extensive service and would not take multiple days, but only a couple of hours. When I was contacted about this review on December 29, it was the first communication from the company that the work had been completed on my house on Dec. 1. During this phone call I was asked to make myself available that day to review the work done on my house. I have since received 2 separate quotes from the company and images of my roof.

They did an excellent job. The roof looks like new. The chimney work was excellent. The didn't charge for the painting of the chimney and nor one side of the house's siding/trim. They also pressure washed our front patio for free while they were there. I was extremely happy with the job.

They did a perfect job in a brief period of time and the price was great. I've recommended them to others.

Called for service and reached the receptionist. Phone call not returned that day. Next morning called again and reached receptionist. Company representative returned my call 30 minutes later and scheduled the appointment for the following Thursday afternoon. The work crew arrived in the morning, however this was not a problem for me. Service was done in 20 minutes. This was my first experience with using a recommendation from Angie's List and I was pleased with the recommendation.

Kelbie Home Improvement Inc $45 for Gutter Cleaning & More! We hired this company 2011 through Angie's coupon @ 95.00 gutter cleaning, all went well 4 persons done in less than 30 minutes. Was completely satisfied. Saw coupon this year 2012,decided to have done again, however paid $49.00 did not see small print of Townhouse vs House. "The 45 dollar coupon is for a townhouse but since you are already purchased it I can deduct it off the normal price of 150 dollars for the first 100 linear foot anything over the 100 linear foot is 2 dollars per linear foot just want to make everything clear before I schedule the job." However, never anticipated it would go from $99.00- 2011 to 349.00-2012. This was over site in both parties of not getting written estimate before actual work completed, I had no idea of actual footage. Understand townhouse's for the most part are smaller however, in this area some Townhouse are larger than my house. It was later explained $99.00 was introductory price in 2011 and didn't cover actual price of services which is totally understandable, our house had over 240 feet of gutter which was tightened and sealed, repair to left 2nd floor gutter was addressed and repaired. Satisfied with work done.

While work was slow getting started (another contractor had to finished up his work prior to my being able to give Kelbie's a start date) once everything got underway, it was professionalism all the way. Materials were delivered on site. Then the roofing crew arrived to remove the old roof (1 layer) and install the new shingles. The crew was extremely polite, demonstrated trade skill knowledge and the crew supervisor explained every phase to me. The crew started existing roof removal at 1PM on the 18th and completed (including all debris cleanup and removal) by 2PM on the 19th of December. I rate the Kelbie roofing crew that performed work on my home in the top 10% of all the roofing crews I have worked with during my career as Project Manager and have no hesitation in recommending them to my friends and acquantainces.

Nothing to report as yet. See above. Please note that it was difficult to know how to respond to some of the questions since no work has been done yet. I fully expect that Kelbie will do a fine job if we decide to hire that company.

They did a very good job and left no nails behind. The workmen were very experienced and professional. Mr. Kelbie, however, seemed less experienced so the scheduling at first was confused. But that didn't affect the work.

Prompt, courteous, cleaned up well. Good experience

They showed up a couple hours later than they had said, but they did a pretty good job sealing all of our windows and joints with extra caulk. We believe it made a difference since it seemed as though the heater wasn't running as often. Besides the slight tardiness, they did a good job and it likely helped out in our heating bill.

This was one of my more unforutnate experiences with List deals. I scheduled the service for 3 pm. I heard nothing for three hours so figured they weren't coming. I was preparing to leave around 6 when their truck rolled up. They had my home phone number but no call was ever made to let me know they were delayed. They two gentlemen apologized for being late, saying they were delayed by jobs in MD. I tried to explain some areas on the roof I thought were a problem but it was evident that all they wanted to do was get started with the inspection. The "inspection/repairs" lasted about 20 minutes. They did some minor caulking and told me that was as much as they could do. They presented me with an estimate for further repairs ($1350) and an estimate to replace the entire roof ($10,425). It's not on the estimate for the roof but the lead man told me that my roof was "over 20 years old" and needed to be replaced. The roof is in fact 12 years old. My estimnate of $125 for the cost of the service is just a guesstimate, I really don't recall exactly how much it was but it certainly was money wasted.

Outstanding service! I called on 12/17 and they were able to come out on 12/18 to patch a few small leaks in my roof. I thought the price was reasonable and they inspected my roof to make sure there was no additional damage from hurricane Sandy. The service was very professional and I will use their services again. They were supposed to arrive around 9:00 and they were running a little late but honestly I cannot complain as they were able to preform next day service.

I thoroughly read the reviews and decided to give Kelbie a chance. I initially contacted the company by phone to schedule, had to leave a message and received no response. I then contacted by email. Had to email again. I am not remembering at this moment whether I had to ask if I needed to ask for a refund at this point or if I got a response. I did get a scheduled appointment but no one showed up and no communication to indicate that my service wouldn't be occurring. I got a response that the equipment was in the shop. The response also included a statement that the person didn't normally answer email during off-hours or when out of the office - which didn't endear me in any way given the lack of communication thus far. I want to say there was another missed appointment before final execution of the job. The job was performed though. The person who performed it removed things from my back porch before doing the washing. I could not determine whether the front stairs Trek decking was actually pressure washed or not as I still see mildew. I did not contact the company to inquire as it was difficult to get responses for scheduling and no communication on the person not showing up. The person who performed the work did call to say he was there - however I wasn't home and didn't talk to him. I will say that I feel that the only way I got a response was to indicate that I would post a negative review on Angie's List and ask for a refund. Thankfully prior reviews gave me the background on which to decide on my initial decision and when I encountered problems, something to 'lean' on.
