Well, they were late - dark outside. I did have a hard time coordinating an appointment, I went ahead {against my better judgement} and let them do the work. I assumed they would have "headlamps" on, but they only had lights on their drills. I thought that was stupid. The supervisor spoke some English but the workers didn't. I'm assuming they didn't reconnect the gutter holders because I've been finding the tabs in the yard. Also, I don't think the gutters aren't working properly because the rain either goes behind gutters or over the front.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. They took 6 months to do the job. I paid more because they had to replace more plywoods than what's included in the deal. They didn't even start for 6 months. He was very uncommunicative and when he does e-mail, it's almost unintelligible. He was late for appointments; there was one appointment where I e-mailed him and asked if he was coming and he said, "No, I'm not gonna come today." He's just really unresponsive and I was very disappointed. The work seems fine, there were a few nails left on the property which they said they would clean up but that was minor. I think I got them all and I certainly haven't had any flat tires but 6 months when he's sitting on my $6,500 and then he wants to charge me $2,200 more. It's just ridiculous. In the last e-mail exchange we had, he said "As it looks now, you still owe us a balance according to the terms on the coupon. But if you would be willing to trade us the Page of Happiness for the service we provided, we will waive that fee." I went to a store and bought the plywood with his man and I've spent $976.75 to buy those and I gave the man a check for $2,200. So in addition to the $6499, I paid an additional total of $3,176.75. And my understanding from his man was that we had negotiated the price to $3,100 additional and that was all I was going to pay but he was trying to get even more money out of me and that's why he asked me to give them the Page of Happiness and they'll forget about that.

They had come back down and I asked them to go back and do the caulking, which they did.

He did another section of gutter protection and he found a section on my roof that needed a new flinge and those were extra expenses that I didn’t expect. I did liked that they found that hole around my pipes. Even though they put the gutter protection the water still flows out. I don’t know if they even cleaned out the gutters.

Not sure. The provider took pictures of the roof before the maintenance, to show me that I probably need a new roof, but none after, so who knows what was done. I had a lot of difficulty getting back in touch to get an estimate for the replacement or simply a repair. I guess they weren't particularly interested in doing repair vs. a replacement.

Kelbie Home Improvement Inc. was fine. They came out on on the day they said they would. They did the cleaning for the price that they said they would. I think that they left the house in good shape when they cleaned the gutters. I thin they did a good job. I don't recall them leaving a mess under the gutters or anything like that. I wouldn't have a problem using them in the future.

After purchasing the Big deal for $140.00 and leaving 2 messages someone called to schedule appointment. The roof was inspected and tech tried to sell us a new roof. We agreed to ridge vent and pipe collar for $1150.00 While the small leak on the house was resolved the garage still leaks. No one ever returned our follow up call . The techs were pleasant but I would be hesitant to purchase a Big deal or recommend Kelbie.

Showed up on time went right to work. Cleaned gutters and added guards on the gutters.

I'm afraid it wasn't very good. They were supposed to do roof maintenance. I had issues with their timing. When it got beyond the time they were supposed to be here I had to contact them to find out where they were, opposed to them calling me and letting me know they would be late. There were 2 people that showed up and they were in constant touch with Mr. Kelbie on the phone. He's the one, without being here, who gave me feedback on what they were telling him. They wouldn't speak to me directly. The third problem was that they said for $165 I shouldn't expect much. They put rubber compound on 4 pipes coming off the roof. They said the main job was to photograph the roof and give me an estimate of what was happening. It's been about a year and I haven't seen anything. I asked them if they could bang down a few loose tiles, they said that wasn't part of the "Big Deal". Fair enough, I didn't know what I was getting into when I bought the deal. I accepted whatever they said they would do. They said the main thing was to photograph the roof and let me know the condition. I'm not sure what I got for the "Big Deal". It was terrible, it's been a year and I haven't heard back from what the main job was. They were supposed to contact with me photos, all they said was the roof needs replacing and were running a special that will cost you $7000. That's when they said they would send me the pictures. I wouldn't go back to them, whatever happened happened. I'm willing to move on and not go back to them.

They came as scheduled and did the job perfectly.

The service turned out pretty well. They were very prompt. I never had a problem with them.

They conducted the cleaning very well but at the end of the apt they gave me a laundry list of things that needed repaired. I was surprised because we have a 4 year old home but I pleased with the work.

They were nice and finally found a day to come do the service after I had purchased the $198 coupon via Angie's List. However, I discovered after I had purchased the coupon that this coupon was only for a certain house size and mine was larger. Also, I had meant to pressure wash the terrace, entrance pathway and teak furniture using same provider so I still decided to do it. It is important to say that I only found out the total price when they came and could estimate the rest of the work. Kelbie charged me at the higher, not discounted price for the extra service. I found it was expensive but somehow still decided to do it all because I had purchased that coupon and needed to get it done in order to then have my house painted before the humid heat of the summer. And they were there! Let me say I found that I was kind of forced to accept that, which I did not like. About the service itself, I remember I was really impressed with the fantastic result: my terrace, house and teak furniture looked like new! Sparkling! They had asked me to make sure all windows and doors were closed, which was a good advice and I did. However, they did not say anything in advance about the water and product going through, under, over and on sides of all operable doors as well as entering inside of locks. As a result, I got a lot of water inside the house which cause a mess to clean and horrible stains on some things inside my house like my stainless steel fridge etc. and all my locks got rusting inside (I could not turn keys inside of them for a long while). I feel Kelbie can learn about this and do better next time and maybe gradually deserve an A rating.

They are very good. Michael Kelby is an excellent person. They have worked on my son's house and will be starting on my daughter's soon. Very compassionate and pleasant guy. They are very fair.

I was so surprised to get such excellent customer service from a contractor. They were so responsive and sent me lots of information on videos and pictures to answer my questions before the work. My roof looks great and I would use them again for sure.

Excellent experience from start to finish. Very punctual for initial meeting - Ed was not just on-time, he was early. Very willing to do as much or as little as I wanted. Thoroughly prepped the house, power washed, scrapping peeling paint, pulled out old caulking. End result looked great. Very respectful of your property and cleaned up after themselves. Definitely would use again.

We initially wanted our two leaky skylights replaced but when I saw a deal for roof replacement with a lifetime warranty with Kelbie Home Improvement, we decided to get that done as well. My call was returned promptly by the owner Mike Kelbie and he was able to come over later that day. Mike performed the roof and skylight inspection/measurements himself and was very knowledgeable in answering my questions. I especially liked seeing a brochure with samples of tile colors and Mike explaining the advantages of the GAF Lifetime Roofing System. Although the price came to several thousand more than the deal price,I was satisfied with Mike's explanation how the roof pitch,angles etc. increased the square footage and the price. In addition, Mike said they would install the skylights for free (we paid for the cost of the skylights/flashing kits) He also included replacing some side trim as well. I signed the contract contingent on approval of our HOA which took about three weeks During that time I also visited The Roof Center(Mike had suggested them) to help me make a final choice on the tile color. I mostly kept in contact with Mike through e-mails which he replied to in a timely manner. Some very rainy weather brought further delays in scheduling the job. Mike kept me in the loop and let me know when the materials would be delivered and when the work would begin. The work crew arrived early and worked diligently eight hours the first day and about five hours the following day. Mike came by at the end of the first day and I talked to him by phone the second day. We did notice some bent guttering and an outside sump pump pipe that had been broken off by falling debris. When I mentioned these to Oscar, the foreman, he was very attentive to fix these. His pipe repair was actually an improvement on what had been there. The cleanup was also very thorough. We are so pleased with the color/dimensional look of the Timberline HD shingles. We have received many favorable comments from our neighbors about the roof and it is great to finally have skylights that don't leak. I would definitely recommend Kelbie Home Improvement based on our positive experience and would hire them again in the future.

They were great. They caulked all the open spots and made recommendations. They recommended a new roof but it didn't need to be done right away. Over all the service for both homes went very well. They were on time and took care of any issue.

Had to call them a few times after placing the order on Angie's list in order to set up a time. After the time was set up, on the day the work to be done, they didn't show up 30 minutes after the appointment time. My tenant called me and I called them. Mike said they ere tied up with another job and would be one more hour until they could come.

KELBIE replaced my roof including boards, facia boards, shingles, flashing and gutters. The company owner, Mike Kelbie, explained all details to me and answered all my questions with patience. The company is professional and customer service oriented. The workers are knowledgeable, skilled and particular about their work. The workmanship was excellent! I highly recommend this company.

The contractor provided pictures and a video of my roof at the time of the assessment, so at least I knew the condition of my roof. I had been told by another contractor a few years ago my roof would have to be replaced. They were very prompt and replaced my roof.

I had a substantial roof leak and needed a fix right away. I sent an email request for an estimate to Kelbie Home Improvement and got a phone call within minutes. Mike Kelbie told me he would be there that same day--AMAZING. He came and got up on the roof and gave it a thorough inspection. He told me he could fix the leak but recommended a full replacement. He gave me estimates for both which were incredibly lower than I expected. I opted for the replacement as the roof is well over 20 years old. Mike then amazed me again by telling me the work would be done the next day. He told me his crew would arrive around 8 and work until completion. We shared stories about our families and I could tell that Mike was a man of his word. The crew arrived right on time and got to work right away. The crew worked like a well oiled machine and were very respectful and polite. It was a huge job--tearing off the old roof, decking and all, and the men had to wheelbarrow load after load to their trailer. The roof was complete by 5:30 and they even performed a fix to part of the front of the house which was a very pleasant surprise. They performed a complete clean up and left the yard totally free of debris. Mike Kelbie and his men made this the smoothest home improvement job that I have ever had done. If you are looking to have any roofing done or any other home improvements I would call Mike first, it will probably be the only call you have to make. Kelbie Home Improvement offers the best prices, service, and follow up. I will be using their services exclusively in the future.
