Description of Work: In response to a plumbing emergency, Jim Bush replaced a shower control valve and installed 4 cut-off valves. A subcontractor repaired an opening in the wall that was made to gain access to and replace the shower valve.

Description of Work: Kitchen sink leak.

Description of Work: No water in house, apparently pipes were frozen. Called Bush Plumbing on a Sunday morning (located by Googling) and they came an hour later. Plumber and assistant went down to basement but couldn't find intake line for water coming into the house. Broke through the wallboard in several places to find intake (mess never repaired or cleaned up). Water running free at intake. Not the problem Located reduction valve and determined water running free up to that point. Decided that reduction value needed replacing. Went out and bought a new reduction value at nearby Home Depot and installed it. Still no water in the house. At this point, hours after "repair" had started, they traced the pipes 3 feet further, to a bathroom in the basement and discovered that a slat from the jalacy window in that bathroom was missing, the room was freezing and the pipes, which continued from that room throughout the house, were frozen, cutting off water from the rest of the house. Solution: seal the window until it could be repaired, heat the room and the water would flow. This cost almost $500, the replacement of a perfectly good reduction value--calibrated wrongly, providing water at an inadequate pressure throughout the house--a basement full of wallboard trash, with wall holes that need repair or wallboard replacement, altogether two or three thousand dollars worth of additional repair caused by their "repair." Best avoid this company.
