HMD Landscaping

HMD has been mowing my lawn for years now. Although they aim to mow on one set day, due to weather conditions that is not always possible. I never worry about that though, because they ALWAYS come every week during the season the grass needs to be mowed. Dan will call me when he notices the shrubs need attention and ask if I would like his crew to do some work on them. I always appreciate that he is keeping an eye on how things look. I recommend this company!!

Dan was excellent. He came to the condominium community and walked the grounds. Also, I didn't wait long for an estimate and it was a very reasonable estimate. I didn't feel like he was gouging me. I would definitely recommend him.

Several years ago we used HMD for a couple of weeks while we were away for the summer. The service wasn't good. When I left a message on the company's voicemail it was never returned. More recently I noticed the workers were using my yard as a cut through to the neighbors lawn. In the process they were ruining my lawn. When the onsite workers were totally unresponsive, I demanded he call the owner. This took a good deal of convincing. He told me the owner was coming. A half hour later after the worker again cut through my yard the only way I could get him to call the owner was for me to take the key to his machine. At that point the owner told me he wasn't coming over. Later that day the owner contacted us through email. After a quick back and forth he agreed to replace the ruined part. In fact, he replaced much more than necessary. He also offered me a free aeration for my lawn. Based on my experiences I can neither recommend nor discourage the use of this contractor.

Spoke to owner on the phone on Tuesday, June 11th He took all of my contact information and said he would be able to add the property into his schedule the following week and would email me an estimate and contract. Haven't heard back from him yet.

Well. Dan had his men do the job on time for the first two rakings, (a bit late on the third). They did excellent work.

The mow twice a week, as well as keep up on any seasonal work as needed. They are superb. They don't need any supervision when trimming or pruning, I trust the work they do. Dan is very honest and responsive. They are professional and personable.
