Description of Work: I got the Big Deal ($129), for four hours of plastering and painting. The work took over 4 hours, so I paid an extra $34. The work involved plaster repair and repainting of the dining room ceiling, which had three, long cracks, one of which extended well down the wall.

Description of Work: I had the dry wall repaired on the main floor of my house. Eddy did a great job. I also ended up getting an estimate from Alex to have the entire first floor walls & ceilings painted. Out of the 5 estimates that I received "Hands On Painters" was the best. They did a great job and completed all of the work in three days.

Description of Work: Hands on painters did a very good job for me. They put up and took down plastic sheeting to keep debris under control. I thought it might be extra work for them to do that,every day rather that leave it up but apparently some people like them to leave the work site clean and vacuumed every day. Hey were very responsive and accommodating.

Description of Work: Company rep arrived on time and completed the job efficiently. we are very satisfied. Repaired plaster in ceiling and painted. The company representative was punctual, professional, and very efficient. We are very happy with this service.

Description of Work: Outdoor painting included preparing and painting wrought iron and portico facing. Indoor painting included woodwork in kitchen and hall walls. They were very prompt, courteous, and professional. Did an excellent job, particularly on wrought iron. Allowed me a couple of days to evaluate the job and returned for some minor problems.

Description of Work: They prepped and painted walls and trim in most of our 1500 sq. ft. house, plus basement walls and floor. They also sanded and poly-shaded our kitchen cabinets, and did a little exterior painting. We were very happy with their work. They did good prep, and the quality of the paint job is very high. The kitchen cabinets look wonderful now, I'm so glad we did not replace them. As for price, they are very competitive, and less than some. The final bill did come out higher than expected but only because we added a bunch of things to the job. Thanks in part to Hands On Painters, our house went under contract the same day we put it on the market!

Description of Work: I'm VERY happy with everything. Especially Sean who did all the work. Very professional young guy. I'm a business owner for 11 years and never mention it to anyone doing work for me, assuming they may change their normal routine hoping I don't criticize. Id be proud to have him as an employee. He was always busy, did a very nice job and was fast. Most people question how much will get done when paying by the hour, it was well worth it. Thanks for a job well done-Dan

Description of Work: I purchased an Angie's deal to have some caulking removed and replaced in the bathroom. Did an excellent job and was very courteous. Had them give me an estimate to power wash the back to the house and clean / seal the deck. I hired them to do the work and again they were punctual and did a good job. Several months after the deck was sealed it began to look blotchy - the seal had not penetrated evenly. I called them back and they came to look at it. They agreed and resealed the entire deck again. I couldn't be happier with their responsiveness and professionalism. I would highly recommend.

Description of Work: I don't think the owner of the company came to my house (which is fine) to give me an estimate for some repair and drywall work but whomever the person was representing this company, he was awful. He came in, I explained what I wanted repaired. (Repair partially damaged wall from water, replace window sill, and hang drywall on two walls of a bedroom). This gentleman spent literraly less than 5 minutes in the room, did not take any measurements and then said he would get back to me with an estimate. WOW! He was not someone I was going to use even if I liked the estimate. He didn't ask any questions about what I wanted, nor did he spend any amount of time really looking at what was needed.

I called to get a quote and see if they were available to paint our new apartment we were moving in to, stated the date we would have access, and the date we needed to have apartment painted. She laughed at me, and stated "That's not going to even be possible." What great customer service you have. How about offering me other options, or trying to allow other dates to take place? Wow, not impressed. You were willing to pass up a customer, is it because we are moving to an apartment not a house? I was very offended. Update: September 30th, 2011 I received a call from the Owner there, regarding this complaint that I put in earlier this month, he was very sincere and aplogized for the behavior of his Secretary. I was almost willing to give them a second chance, but even he stated himself that if he was treated like I was that he would not give a company a second chance. I was impressed with how professional he was and how quickly he responded to my issue I had with their secretary. Over the phone he was empathetic and embarrassed at how we were treated, and we greatly appreciated his professionalism. Thank you for addressing our concerns.

Description of Work: They fixed a basement window frame area that had water damage to the sheetrock. They were quick and the job was done to my satisfaction.

Description of Work: I requested a quote to paint the interior of my 1400 sqft house in Fells Point. I received the quote several days later even though I said I needed the work done quickly. Perhaps they took the request for a quick turn around as license to quote me a high rate as they estimated $5000 not including closets. I complained and they agreed to do the job for $3000 including closets. I had similar work done by a handyman for $2000.

Description of Work: This was the 2nd job Hands on Painters did for me. I had the ceiling on the main floor painted, (kitchen and family room). I had some old water marks from old leaks. Along with that we had some crown molding added to our family room. Rich and Angel did an excellent job finished in one day left the house clean when they left. I would recommend these guys and their company to anyone!!
