Description of Work: I purchased an Angie's List deal to have two rooms painted and paid an extra $450 to have a third room painted (walls, ceilings and trim). They incorrectly scheduled the first visit, which required me to take another day off work to be here when they came. But the biggest issue was that the crew they sent was sloppy in terms of attention to detail--especially when they painted the ceilings. They used a roller to paint the ceiling but did not paint the edges of the ceiling or cut in around the ceiling fans. There was an obvious discoloration around the edges and the ceiling fan since the new ceiling paint was a different color from what had previously been there. In my son's bedroom, there was also an enormous "wet" streak on one part of the ceiling. I pointed it out to the crew before they left, but they said it would dry. The next day, it was obvious that something was wrong, so they came back and painted over it--but that just made the streak bigger. They tried to say that it was a problem with the ceiling itself (it wasn't), but eventually I figured out that someone had put the wrong paint lid on the wrong can so they were using semi-gloss on that part of the ceiling instead of flat. So they came back a third time, and I asked them to repaint the entire ceiling to correct the issue. However, even the third time they did a terrible job and there were obvious areas where the ceiling had been painted once versus others were there were 2 or 3 coats. I finally gave up on them and hired another painting company to come and fix the ceiling in my son's room as well as do the detail work around the edges and the ceiling fan in the other two rooms. Everyone I spoke with at the company was very nice, but the particular crew I got did not seemed very experienced and just didn't care about getting the job done right.

Description of Work: They replaced a rotted piece of wood and filled in and painted cracked wood on the outside of the house. They also spackled cracks in many areas inside the house. They were very efficient and completed the job in a timely mannner. They did an excellent job and I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again.

Description of Work: Replaced rotted wood on a window and painted. It went amazing. He was very professional and even found another piece of wood in the same area that was rotted and replaced within the time purchased at no additional cost.

Description of Work: The painters arrived on time, and I explained what I wanted completed and what I wanted prioritized. I knew that it was more than could be completed in the designated 16 hours. For the most part, they did a good job, but didn't get anywhere close to finishing what I thought should have been completed in the amount of time allotted.
