Description of Work: I asked for an estimate about another job and they never responded to that request. The work they did was acceptable, but not without some inattention to details.

Description of Work: They painted my entire house. Doing various wall repairs along the way. Did major carpentry to my kitchen and provided me with sound counseling . These guys are great, neat, knowledgable and in my opinion the most important thing trustworthy!

Description of Work: Basement: Install drywall, tape, mud and prep all walls. Repair and prepare walls for prime/paint. Install baseboard and prepare area for rug install. The communications, timeliness, professionalism and care taken by the HandsonPainters personnel was exceptional. Quoted 4 days and finished in 4.5 days (due to snow delay). On the final 1/2 day of work, Cesar, from the main office, came to the house to make sure that we were completely satisfied with the work and his personnel up to this point. On the last day, I noticed that Jose, who was painting the basement stairway baseboard and door, had taken his shoes off before walking up the carpeted stairs to complete the trim work on the landing. They are a bit higher than other quotes we received, however, the overall experience and quality, combined with how comfortable we felt having the team in our home, ensures we will be using them again. | |Will contact them again for additional painting in our home.

Description of Work: I bought a deal for $129 for 3 hours of drywall/plaster, or water damage repair. It was a fine experience.

Description of Work: I hired the company off Angie's list because of a deal: one room painted for $125. The painter was on time and friendly enough. Room was white and in good condition and 9ftx10ft. Was told one more hr at $45 to complete room. No problem there - but then the manager stopped by to check up on things and gave me an astronomical quote when I asked about other rooms (the real reason he stopped by - or so it felt - and it felt also like he stopped by to persuade the painter who was already working to make him work longer - trying to make the job now on an hourly rate take even longer). I didn't like that one bit. His quote for other rooms and other things was sooo much more than double other quotes for the exact same work. Once again, painter was fine and job was OK (though painted over outlets without unscrewing them and taking them off) but I wouldn't trust the company on an hourly rate - feel confident they'd come up with reasons to change their quote or work longer/more slowly. Just a guess. If the manager hadn't stopped by to check on things I may have hired again - but my gut instinct is to go with someone else.

Description of Work: I purchased the 3 hours of painting, drywall/plaster, etc. for $129.00 on January 2, 2015. I was asked to provide three suggested dates of service, which I did. When I never heard from them, I made a total of 4 phone calls, each time leaving a message. I have never received a return call or a response to any of the messages I left. The obviously are not interested in providing the service you advertised. I would not want them, at this point, to do anything for me. Thank you.

Description of Work: I was extremely impressed and pleased with the work and the service. My ceiling had 2 cracks in it from years of settling. One man came to do the repair and his supervisor helped by assessing the job and going to get paint to match the old, flat paint that was on my ceiling.

Description of Work: Replaced water-damaged section of roof in bath with dry wall and repainted; repaired water damaged plaster ceiling & walls in hall and repainted; repaired water damaged ceiling and walls in bedroom and painted entire room, including trim and closet. Alex, who did the estimate, came promptly on time and was pleasant to deal with. Fidel and his assistant who did the work did a great job.

In addition to the work contracted for, they responded to a request to waterproof my deck. Their customer service was exceptional. They were responsive, professional and reliable.

Description of Work: refurbished a very old, tired-looking bathroom to a sparkling new-looking room replacing floor and tub and very cleverly retaining fixtures that were still serviceable. Rich, who did all the work was fantastic. And yes, I will definitely consider this outfit for any other similar jobs.
