This was supposed to be a special offer through Angie's List - 3 hours of painting for $99. It was not. Instead, we received the services of a painter for approximately 7 hours for a discounted rate of about $400. The painter ended up patching and painting a single room, a larger job than expected. We were very satisfied with the results, however.

My deck looks like it is brand new and you cannot even tell any of the wood had chips or nail pops. I will certainly use Hands On again and will definitely recommend their services to friends and family. They get an A++

This gentlemen came to my house to give me an estimate on a Saturday. He was in and out of my house in 3 minutes. No measurements - just a few notes. He said he would email the estimate on Monday. By the following Friday, without any estimate, I contacted him again. I gave him my work email and he said he would have this sent to me. It is now the following Monday - no email in either place. I can't put my trust in anyone who isn't honest with me. I would not use him for the work.

They did a great job. I'd hire them again in a heartbeat.

My deck with its attached wheelchair ramp was constructed 3 years ago but had never received a sealing or staining coat. I needed the ramp to have a nonskid surface to accomadate a wheelchair. I live in an historic distirict that recommends that we use colors that match the current house. Hands on Painters was able to respond to all of those needs. Most of our communication was by email, although they came to my house to take a look at the job and give me an estimate. I was pleased with their price which was much less than one I had gotten last year. The recommended specific paints and colors for my particular needs which increased the cost a little but I believe improved the quality of the final product which I was very happy with. The company was very sensative to my requests and arranged to do the job at a time that was convenient to me and my family. I am very happy with the price, the product and the process!

Hands On Painters promptly showed up for the estimate appointment. The representative from the company was thorough. As he surveyed my property he noticed other repair work that needed to be done and mentioned he provided handyman services. I was delighted because I've had trouble getting someone to come out for these small projects (A.K.A honey do list). Together we listed the other small projects, like changing the outside wall sconces and replacing the rotted trim. Theses items were included in the estimate, along with the painting and power washing. Hands On Painters showed up promptly everyday and provided quality work. They cleaned up the worksite every day as well. When all the work was completed my 25 year old house looked new. What I liked most about Hands On Painters was their reasonable prices, high quality of work, and their whole house approach to what started out as a quest for exterior painting.

They did an outstanding job. Very easy to work with and completed job within a reasonable time frame.

It went very well. They were punctual and worked steadily for two days. A few areas of the wall were giving them problems and I know that they painted at least one wall three times to make sure the color would hold. I would use them again and I would recommend them.

They did a great job. They were quick, neat and professional. They also moved all furniture. Everything was covered and they also covered their shoes when they came in from outside. Overall, the work went very well.

We have had Hands On Painting complete several painting jobs for us before; however, this was the first time we used their handyman division. The entire process from initial estimate to completion of the job was flawless. During the initial estimate, we were pleasantly surprised by the feedback given by the person who completed it. He actually advised against doing several things which benefited us and reduced costs. The actual work was performed exactly as planned by Rich and done so in a professional and very efficient manner. The installation of the ceiling fan required some sheetrock work. Rich color-matched the areas perfectly. He removed all materials from our house after completing each job and kept us informed about each task he was working on or completed.

They were the lowest of three estimates. Quality of work was outstanding, Needed trim painted outside and some rotting work on Back Door Frame repaired. Also water mark on Kitchen Ceiling needed to be repainted as water had come in because of a caulking issue around a large Kitchen Window. They professionally treated the water mark and repainted the Ceiling. They also painted a Metal Porch and step rail. Very satisfied with the price and quality of work and would highly recommend

Excellent. Arrived punctually, got right to work patching a hole and nail pops and then painted the ceiling.

When they were finished there were still a lot of ripples in the walls. The plaster wasn’t smooth like I expected. I got two of them because I have two houses. After they started the job they told me the work I wanted was more than 3 hours and they had to use both of them on one house and couldn’t get the other project done even though the estimate said they would only use two coupons.

I recently sold my home and because it is an older home, the inspection report required that anywhere there was peeling paint had to be repainted. There were several areas on the exterior of my home that needed to be painted. I requested an estimate. It took over a week for them to come and give me the estimate. When I did receive the estimate, there was one item listed that I crossed off because I didn't feel it needed to be done. I also changed the price to reflect the item I crossed off. I then scanned and emailed the signed estimate back to the office. When I received the bill, the item that I had crossed off was on the bill, plus I was charged an additional 10% for the entire job because lead paint was found. While I agree that my attic windows had lead paint, the other areas could not possibly have had lead paint because they were areas were additions were done or changes made after 1978, which means there couldn't have been lead paint. Overall, I feel for what was done, I was grossly overcharged and incorrectly billed. In addition, even though all the work was being done on outside areas, I ended up having to go home from work to open the side door and the attic windows so I also missed time from work.

They were extremely professional and did an excellent job. My only complaint is that the job could not be completed in the time I allotted and when I called to book them again, since they did such nice work, I did not hear back from them.

It went very well. He was very careful not to get paint on my furniture. He had some extra time after finishing the ceiling, so he also painted some walls. He was very good at making an even line where the walls meet the ceiling. He was very pleasant.

I live in a non-restored Canton rowhouse that has been in the family for over 85 years. My Dad was a painter and carpenter by trade. He did all of the work around the house through the years. As I watched him do the work he would explain why he did things the way he did them. I think of this each time I hire someone to work on the "family homestead". I requested an estimate from Hands On Painters via email. I received a telephone call from Theresa who scheduled Jonathan to come and give me the estimate. I showed Jonathan what I wanted done and we discussed the job. He sent me an estimate via email within several days. I had several questions on the estimate which were answered via email. I sent the deposit. I received a telephone call to schedule the work. Alex was the Field Foreman. Everett was the Crew Chief. Rich was the Handyman. Everett and his crew took a great deal of pride in their work. They did everything as it should be done from prep work to clean up. Rich asked questions, proposed solutions and explained what he did. Alex checked on the work on a daily basis. Alex asked each day if I was satisfied. I received a final invoice via email. When Alex came to pick up the check, he did a final check of the job. I pointed out a couple of things that needed touch up and repair. This final work was scheduled and completed. I am very pleased with the interior and exterior paint jobs performed by Everett and His Crew. I am very pleased with the Handyman services performed by Rich. I am very pleased with the Customer Service provided by Alex. I would not hesitate to hire Hands On Painters again. I have already recommended them to several neighbors. I am sorry that my Dad wasn't around to see people do work the way he did.

easy arrangement in terms of scheduling, person that came was helpful, skilled, and had tools needed to perform the job. Was able to raise an issue we had with our replacement shutters and helped us come up with viable options to meet our needs during the 4 hour appointment

The guy was very helpful and patched the drywall issue that I had. He even stayed 45 minutes longer than the big deal offered for a time frame. I was very happy about that. I am happy with their services.
