I was pleased with the overall work. From my conversation with Jonathan..to meeting and explaining the job request, I was pleased with the actual workers..They worked hard to get the entire job done. They left my kitchen painted beautifully, and mess free! Great overall experience.

I had an excellent experience with Hands on painters previously for drywall work and painting so I jumped at this special when I saw it come through. Just as I hoped, the painter/drywall specialist Eddie was meticulous and the numerous areas of damage can no longer be identified (he painted the different spots with the original paint colors that I provided). He spent the first 4 hours on the basic drywall holes and damage (8 spots) and the last 3 hours on the tricky area around the lights in 2 bathrooms that involved repair, priming, and sponge painting to blend in with the existing work. When scheduling drywall repair, it is important that at least 4 hours is allotted so that there is time for the repair to dry before it can be painted (he used a heat gun to assist the drying). Eddie came on time, worked hard the whole time, and was very pleasant to deal with. The Big Deal charge for 4 hours was $129 and the additional hourly charge was $45 /hr ($135 for 3 hours). Well worth it for his top workmanship.

First, the worker was EARLY!!! That never happens; normally, I'm kept waiting for workers to come. He went right to work of repairing areas in my drywall. He made sure that all furniture was moved, where needed, and he covered all areas up with tarp. I even received a visit from the owner, who made sure that the job was being done, well. I would definitely recommend this company to others. I do plan on having additional work done, by them.

A fine experience. The company scheduled the service on a day convenient for us, confirmed the day before coming, brought all supplies and materials needed except for the paint (which we had purchased), completed and cleaned up within the allotted time period.

Excellent, expect dust, it is unavoidable.

It was a two man team who worked non stop to get the job done in one day. They covered up everything and cleaned up before they left. It was a big job and I appreciated that they pushed to finish in one day and not to inconvenience me for another day. The drywall repair was exceptional and made the painting look great. I did feel that the price was a littlle high and I wish that the senior discount was more then 5%..most companies offerred 10% in this field.

When Cesar finished repainting, the room was perfect. I appreciated both the quick response to my concerns from the office, and Cesar's extremely pleasant and professional manner at each visit.

I was very happy with the quality of the work. The company's employees were responsive and easy to communicate with. I dealt with the company via email (sent them pictures of the work to be done), then telephone to set up the appointment. Two people came to the house the day the work was done, a manager and a repairman/painter. The manager reviewed the work and made sure adequate materials were available. The painter stayed to do the work and did so in a very professional manner.

The repair was prompt and professional. He even matched the paint exactly. You can't even tell now that there was repair done. Excellent work.

Within 4 hours, my walls were imperfection free, smooth like a ceiling, without seams and glue. It was then ready to be pained. I was stunned on how beautiful the painter made the walls look.

The job went very well from start to finish. The one man crew arrived right on time and was careful to prepare the room before starting. Cesar was so personable and took great care to make sure the furniture and carpet were covered and protected. He removed the damaged portions of drywall, did the repairs, sanded, primed and finished the room off by painting the ceiling. It looks terrific and just like new.

We had a very good experience from start to finish. Jonathon was very thorough, punctual and professional in all our dealings. The work was completed in a timely manner. The site manager came by twice to check on things and ensure that everything was going smoothly. The painters were courteous and skilled. We are very happy with our experience and are planning to have more painting done in the future with this company. We recommend them without reservation.

Great. The repairman was a little late arriving (23-30 minutesk, but it was no problem. Once he arrived he immediately got to work and taped up the pantry with plastic so that the dust wouldn't escape from the room. He also wore booties over his shoes, as not the track the dust through the house. He worked consistently for the entire four hour period until the job was complete. He vacuumed up the pantry and wiped up what little dust there was in the kitchen and hallway when he was done. I can't tell you how happy I am to have a good looking pantry without the the holes and missing plaster. I will definitely be calling this company back for more jobs in this old house. They have a great Angie's List price even without the special. You should check them out - don't think you'll be disappointed.

They did an exceptional job. He was courteous, professional, and cleaned up well. He was attentive to detail and really knowledgeable in his work. I was impressed with his abilities. I would recommend his services. I will continue to use him. The owner came to check the work and to ensure everything was fine.

It went great from start (proposal) to finish (re-hanging my blinds). The workers were very detail oriented, clean and helpful. It was a 2 day job and they plugged my router and TV back in for me so I could use it that night. I can't stress how clean they left things and how well they protected the furniture that I had to leave in the rooms they painted. I am having new flooring done in 2 days and they told me to call them if I needed touch up afterwards.

When they first did the job, it looked like there were polka dots everywhere when it was finished. I called them to ask about it and they were extremely nice and pleasant. They came out right away and fixed it at no additional charge. They were punctual and very professional. It is clear that they stand by their work. Everything was great and I'd recommend them.

I purchased a big deal coupon for $129 for 4 hours work. The worker (Lucio) did a great job! He arrived on time, worked continuously, and the work was excellent.

I'm always amazed when someone is as punctual as I am, especially a contractor. They arrived two minutes before appointment and knocked on the door exactly when they said they would. The work was done to perfection. I would hire them to do work at my home or business without hesitation.

The painter was phenomenal. We used this service to paint my daughter's bedroom and bathroom purple with an accent wall in each room. We always thought we where good painters until this guy came out. They did a fantastic job.

They did a great job! They gave a very prompt estimate and they were very honest about when they could get to us. They were very clear about everything. They seemed to have enough crews that it was reasonable to do the job in the time frame we needed. They were able to work our job in earlier. Each of their team members were easy to work and communicate with. We did run into a little bit of a challenge between the teams doing each job. There were some pieces of trim that they were okay with leaving there, but we didn't think would hold up over time. Project management could have been a little bit tighter. When I called the project manager, he would always speak with me over the phone and would rather have me send photos instead of him coming back out. I feel that the job could have been completed a bit faster if they were aware of each job that was completed each day. I am very happy with the work. Ultimately, the work was completed in the time frame that was estimated.

In both instances they showed up right on time and had me walk them through the work I needed done so they were clear on what I needed done. They were diligent on setting up the rooms prior to doing the work (carefully covering the floors, counter tops, etc.) and were equally careful about cleaning up afterwards. The work itself seemed good, and the work they did on the kitchen ceiling seems to have resolved the peeling issue. They also seemed to have done a good job lowering the gutters to be even with the neighboring houses (I live in a row house) so they are no longer pushing up the roof shingles, which was causing water to come in to the bedroom. Their work was good and their price seemed reasonable. I would consider using them again. NOTE ON ANGIE's BIG DEAL: The first time I hired HOP was through one of Angie's Big Deal, $200 for 4 hours of handyman work (that's $50/hour) with a regular value advertised at over $400. I went over the 4 hours the first time, and then of course hire them again. In both cases they charged me $55/hour. At $55/hour, that means 4 hours of handyman work regularly costs $220, so I am not sure why the Big Deal advertised a value of $400. That means it was only a 10% discount as opposed to a 50% discount. I don't know how those values are determined, or who determines it (Angie's List or the vendor), but in this case the Big Deal wasn't as deep a discount as advertised.
