Jonathan showed up on time as scheduled for the walk-through and estimate. He made several valid suggestions regarding various tasks involved with the project. Communications with Hands On Painters was easy, and quick via email and telephone. They prepared the estimate in line-item fashion so that I could pick and choose the tasks, based on cost, to scale the project to fit my budget. This made the entire process quite easy, and put me in control of selecting and prioritizing tasks. Daniel and his team showed up on time each work day. They were cheerful, helpful, and it was obvious that they really cared about what they were doing. They took great care to cover and protect adjacent areas, furniture, and items from damage, dust, paint, etc. They REALLY cleaned up afterwards. They worked hard, did a good job, and in nearly every area, exceeded expectations. The team ensured my satisfaction with the quality of work, and reliably and carefully completed each task on the list within the schedule agreed upon. While their name is Hands On Painters, it?s important to point out that they do much more including handyman services, repairs, and even tile installations. Jonathan and the team at Hands On Painters have just become my new ?Go-to Guys? for projects and repairs around the house. I have already recommended Hands On Painters to some of my friends, and can recommend Hands On Painters with complete confidence to my friends, neighbors, and fellow Angie?s list members.

Was excited to hear back from these guys after seeing their van in Baltimore with angie's list advertised on the vehicle design. After viewing their positive reviews on here, I called and left a message to receive an estimate for exterior painting and trim work in early June. Crickets. No response. Gave them the benefit of the doubt and called again. Left another voicemail two weeks later. Crickets again. Not impressed with their lack of customer service and inability to respond to customer inquiry.

I contacted the company prior to purchasing an Angie's List Big Deal because I had questions about the purchase of the dry wall that might not be included. I described the size of the required repair and Teresa, by email, advised me that I would not need to supply the dry wall nor would I be charged for it because it was of a size that the tech. would have a pieces on hand in the truck when the repair was scheduled. It took several months for me to schedule the repair due to things on my end. When I was ready, I got an appointment quickly. The tech arrived on time, completed the repair (despite issues that were related to my having plaster in that section of wall...and his not having anyplace easy to anchor the dry wall. He completed the work, and cleaned up every speck of dust! the wall looks great!!!

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. He came out and he did a lot of great things. It worked out fine. The man who came out was very professional, very friendly, and did a great job.

Jamie arrived punctually and was very friendly. He explained what he was going to do and made sure I understood the parameters of the deal I had bought. He kept me apprised of what he was doing and the progress he was making along the way. I am pleased with the way my room turned out!

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal special offer for this service. The Big Deal was for four hours of work. I think they did a very good job as far as actually doing the drywall repair. But, I don't think the guy worked very efficiently because it took him a very long time to do what I thought were small jobs so he did not get as much done as I would have liked him to do. The work that he did was good but he only got two small projects done and was here for four hours. I really think, based on the work I had for him, he could have gotten a lot more done. He was definitely here for four man-hours and arrived on time.

The workers did an excellent job. The lead painter, Eddy, was great. They blocked everything off with plastic and cleaned up after themselves. Managers were very responsive to any concerns.

Wonderful. They did fantastic job for a great price. I have recommended them to some friends who were also very pleased with the work HOP did. I'll use them again.

This had a quirky start, as the person who came to estimate the job suggested boards for replacement but the person who did the work selected others that were less in need. But he did a fine job, and we worked out our difference in pricing without a problem. I definitely will use them again.

Jonathan showed up early for the estimate and then two of his guys came to do the work. They were able to go above and beyond the Big Deal offer and cleaned up after themselves. I was very impressed with their professionalism and plan on using them again.

HOP was very responsive with coming to my house to see the work I wanted done. They were very professional and had several good ideas. I soon received a quote which I accepted. Within a week I had a date that fit my schedule for them to perform the work. The HOP team showed up with 5-6 people and got straight to work. As they worked, I saw a few other areas that required attention. They added those areas to the estimate in a change order and took care of them. They were very professional, worked neatly, and cleaned up well each day. I will use them again without hesitation.

We have had multiple bad experiences with well rated handymen so were wary in hiring anyone else. I asked these guys to come out and give me an estimate. They were friendly and responsive in providing an estimate. They were able to fit us in quickly. The two gentlemen who came to the house immediately wrapped our whole kitchen in plastic and place tarps down (which was a marked improvement compared to our last handymen. They worked quickly and quietly. Will definitely use these guys again.

Part of my house was built in the very early 1900's -- with the plaster walls, etc. As is typical in older homes, the bathroom was very small. When I moved in, I found and applied some beautiful wallpaper. That was in 1989. During 2012, one of my daughters moved in with me and that bathroom became hers. She hates wallpaper. As I understand it, wallpaper is not in vogue at all right now. She began removing the wallpaper herself, creating walls that looked like they'd been through a war . . . with pieces of the wall torn off, creating a pockmarked appearance. So for her birthday, I gave her the gift of "redoing" the bath. I believed that I could do the removal much easier than my daughter's painful attempts; that's what parents generally think. I gave it the old college try and only succeeded in making an even greater mess. I finally gave up and began to search for someone who would do the job. I found that many companies want nothing to do with wallpaper removal. I saw the $129 Big Deal for up to 4 hours of Drywall/Plaster Repair and Painting from HANDS ON PAINTERS. I took a chance and bought the deal. They contacted me promptly, we scheduled a date and they arrived promptly at 8 am. And as my daughter reported, "they did a very good job taking off the rest of that awful wallpaper." I figured they'd done a really super job, since my daughter is . . . well, let's just say she expects the very best from people.

EXCELLENT! What a pleasure. Rich was on time, very pleasant, very efficient and very tidy. Each of the jobs had some tricky aspects to it and he figured them all out - improving on the plans I had suggested. He even added a few pieces of necessary odd hardware, rather than make me run to the hardware store. I will be calling on these great folks again. I have had some handyman disasters (seriously - from not showing up to physical threats and requiring legal action!) and am so relieved to find such great help.

Excellent. Eddy showwed up right on time and quickly set up plastic drop cloths and prepared the work area. He got right to work taping and mudding the joints and the skimming and sanding the drywall. In four hours he completed the job to the point that all I had to do was a little finish sanding and I was ready to prime and paint. It was important that the ceiling come out looking smooth and free of defects. Now that it is painted the ceiling looks great and my wife is thrilled. We definitely recommend Hands on Painters.

The handyman service was great. We worked on my windows, basically. Everything turned out fine.
