I purchased a big deal from them and it went well.

They declined to visit my house to provide a quote based on my address because they said it was a 45 minute drive, EVEN THOUGH THIS PROVIDER ADVERTISED IN MY LOCAL NEWSPAPER AND SHOWS UP AS A PAINTER FOR MY AREA IN ANGIES LIST.

In short: We were prepping our 3-story Victorian home for resale and -- wow -- Hands on Painters came through. If we get a good price for the house, a huge part of that success will be because of Hands on Painters. In more detail... Price: Hands on Painters isn't cheap, nor is it expensive, and you get what you pay for. We've had SO MANY folks work on the house that didn't finish the job that we'd have paid anything to have the job finished. Hands on Painters finished the job. 100%. That's worth a lot. Professionalism: These guys, from Jonathan and Alex to the work crew were professional, from showing up on time, to doing hard labor, from cleaning up each day, to responding to inquiries and concerns. More: they were obviously honest, and we happily gave them keys and the run of the house for almost three weeks. Flexibility: Oh my! Hands on Painters started on the exterior and the rains came. As they were also going to do our interior later in the month, they shifted inside on rainy days. They dealt with the fact we weren't quite prepared for them inside. The result: the whole job -- exterior and complete interior -- was done way ahead of schedule. Which meant we could get the house on the market earlier. That's also worth a lot. Communicative: I don't expect painters to be uber-communicative via e-mail or texts. But Hands on Painters responded! Over and over again. Bravo. Were I writing copy for Hands on Painters I'd say: "If you want the job done right -- and you want it 100% done -- call us. We'll exceed your expectations." Delighted Customer

I was very impressed with them and their services. They came out within a few days of me purchasing the deal. They finished the work earlier than expected. They were fast, quick, and they knew what they were doing.

They did a great job, everything looks great and I would highly recommend them.

I never had him but he did come and I would completely recommend them and I would totally use that guy again, he was awesome, very friendly, very smart, very personable, everything about him was great and I would totally use him in the future but I'm not in the house anymore. He was amazing. I would have used him when I needed him but he was great. Everything about him was great, from the price, service, punctuality, responsiveness, professionalism, personality and everything. I really liked him. It was a reasonable price for what I needed them.

The owner came out to our home and gave us an estimate. We agreed upon the price. The workers started the work the next week and did a great job. They primed the walls and ceilings. They covered up all the carpet and furniture. They did a great job cleaning up also. They did such a great job we plan to call them again, sometime next year to paint our 3 bedrooms.

Jaime and Jose did an excellent job. They were on time - professional - did significant prep work on walls prior to painting them. Deck cleaning and restoration was excellent. Overall very pleased.

Requested estimate 2 months prior for completing entire dining room. Provider never responded to this. Provider never came to assess situation prior to date of service. Company called the day before to confirm appointment. I stated that I sent an email requesting estimate and was told it would be discussed the next day. A very nice, smiling man arrived (Jamie, I believe) and was there 2 hours and 15 min. My "deal" was for 4 hours. Jamie set up to paint, but when he assessed the situation he determined that work was very involved and felt water from outside was affecting area, so we decided not to have work on windowsill done. One week later there were storms with torential downpours for 2-4 days and when we assessed area, it was not damp in anyway. Don't know what happened there. We discussed various other options, and I became more and more upset and depressed as Jamie kept telling me why certain things should not be done and went so far as to recommend plumbers and suggested I may need to have my ceiling torn out and plumbing fixed. Other work could have been done. Walls could have been painted. I had two gallons of fresh paint sitting there which could have been utilized. Jamie was a very nice man, but looked at his watch 5 or 6 times when he was there, and stated several times that he really couldn't do much of anything because so much time was required to prepare and break down area after job. I told Jamie I needed painting of living room and dining room done (at least the walls were there were no noted problems, and he told me "Ben" (I think that was the name) would call me. No one ever called. Company VERY unprofessional when dealing with me. The only reason why they didn't get an F on every rating was because I thought Jamie was a nice man. But nothing got done except for set up/break down, assessment of real or perceived problems, and telling me I had led paint which I already knew. VERY upsetting experience.

The contractor who arrived at our home merely walked into the kitchen, glanced at the cabinets, and then left. No measurements were taken, no pictures, nothing. The next day we received an estimate for $1250.00....

The two-man crew showed up on schedule and when right to work. All loose paint was scraped and sanded, floor planks replaced as needed, and the area prepared for painting. I appreciated the care taken to keep dust from entering the house. The whole job was completed in one day, and the results exceeded my expectations. The crew reattached the wheelchair ramp I had moved the previous day to accommodate the painting project and reattached loose lattice under one side of the porch. I am very pleased with the work done by Hands On Painters and would strongly consider using them for future projects.

They did a fantastic job. I was not in here on the day that they did the work but they did everything that my wife asked them to do.

The handyman was supposed to show up at 8:30 but didn't arrive until 10:15am. He was very professional and knowledgeable. His work was very good and thorough, but he was very slow. I had purchased the $199 special through Angie's List and then paid for some additional time as well. I was very happy with the projects he completed, but I had many more on the list that he did not get to because of time constraints.

Great, the work looks nice. The worker neatly put plastic sheets over everything so the mess would be contained and he did a nice job.

While getting the appointment firmly scheduled was a complete nightmare, once we finally nailed it down the service was exceptional. The workers were professional, arrived on time, and paid extreme attention to detail. They were very attentive to our requests and needs and gave explanations for everything they were about to do; they answered all our questions. A company representative did make the effort to come personally along with the crew to apologize in person for the scheduling debacle. That's good, quality, caring customer service to take time out of his day to personally deliver a message like that on behalf of the company. It was greatly appreciated. We would most definitely use them again.

They were wonderful. They came on time. Their quote was just right. They recommended the staff that really worked. I have used them twice. I look forward to using them again.

I wasn't present at the time the work was done but once I made it home and viewed their work I was very pleased; they did a great job and I plan on using them again.

The men arrived on time and ready to work. They used a color that almost matched the Chocolate Brown trim on the house. They worked on the old cement step sides until the steps look great. They gave the foundation two coats of paint all the way around the house and the back cellar way. Our home now looks uniform in color and we are extremely happy and will use Hands on Painters again.
