I was originally quoted at a high price however, once I saw this deal was available I hoped on it and Hands on was able to complete the same work that was originally quoted at 7X the price.

They did a good job. The quality of the work was very good. We had purchased the deal for per hour, and my husband says he will never do that again. The only thing we objected to, was that you pay the fixed amount first and then hourly after that, as that got too expensive. The job done was very good.

This company is exceptional. The drywall tape on our dining room ceiling was pulling away and needed to be repaired. I purchased the four hour big deal and can not express how impressed I was with them. The worker who came out (on time) took time to make sure our room was taped up with plastic to keep down the dust, covered our chandelier, and even put drop cloths on our carpet from the front door to the dining room to make sure there was no mess. He did not just do a quick fix, but took the time to make sure the problem was corrected properly, even to the point of redoing an area he had already fixed because he was not happy with the way it was drying. While he was waiting for the repair to dry, he put two coats of paint on my ceiling. Someone else from the company came out while he was here to check on the job and made sure we were happy. I did add an extra hour ($45) so he could repair a couple of areas that were damaged on our other walls. The worker did an excellent job and cleaned everything up before he left. We are very happy with this company and will definitely use them again.

Would highly recommend this company. I also used them previously to repair and repaint a bedroom ceiling which was damaged due to a roof leak and they also performed outside work wherein they replaced lattice work around the front porch and wood framing around a garden area.

Everything turned out great. Scheduling went just fine. They were prompt and they arrived on time. They did their job well and we were satisfied with the work they did.

I had many places where the dry wall tape was buckling and seams were cracking. They were meticulous about putting down plastic to minimize the mess. They repaired and sanded multiple areas and then applied touchup paint. I bought the "big deal" and then added an hour and a half to get everything done

We were very happy with the whole process. We purchased a big deal from them for $129 to include 4 man hours of labor for drywall or painting. The worker was timely on the morning he was scheduled to start the work and did a great job. After the 4th hour, we still had additional painting that needed to be done, the worker continued at $45/hr, which we feel is reasonable. Overall it was a great experience, we would recommend this company and would certainly hire again! Thank you!

They did a great job! The amount of work we needed went over the coupon's allotted time. They told us how much it would cost to do all of it that day and they did it for the price they quoted. We went ahead and requested estimates for more work (painting) since we were so pleased with them. I highly recommend Hands On Painters.

The worker arrived 10 minutes early, worked diligently without taking any breaks, and was able to finish both repairs in the allotted time frame (3 hours). The $89 Big Deal for 3 hours of work was a great deal and completely worth it. Will use Hands On Painters if I need any plaster/drywall repair in the future!

Alex came to get the job started on Tuesday am and took paint samples to have matched. The colors are perfect. Eddy and Elmer came each day and worked until the job was complete on Thursday noon. They carefully moved several items of furniture to prepare. They also took great care to cover everything in plastic to keep as much dust off the rest of my house as possible. They worked quickly and quietly. I had a frustrating time trying to get the TV back on its stand and they helped me over and over. Everything they painted turned out great. I am totally satisfied. Eddy and Elmer were so polite and nice and kept their work area very neat. I appreciated their efforts. This job turned out beautiful. I will be calling back.

This is the second time we have used this provider and once again the service was excellent. Jose showed up on time and Alex came to insure we were well taken care of. The paint job was professionally done with careful attention to detail. The walls were in bad shape with lots of holes left from a teenager who loved nailing things into every available space. The walls are now back to their pristine smooth condition. The bid deal was only $89 but the additional time needed caused us to pay more. The end price was more than reasonable for the work performed. Thanks again to a great company for an outstanding job and excellent customer care.

John did an excellent job. He is a hard worker,great painter and he always cleaned up after he finished. He was pleasant , respectful and very trustworthy . I would definitely have him back to do more work. He did work for my parents as well.

I purchased the Big Deal for 4 hours ($129) and Ever stayed an extra hour ($45) to finish what we had agreed upon to complete. He was meticulous with everything from taping to cleaning afterward. Even though sanding was involved, he kept everything covered, and the room sealed off. Ever did a beautiful job. I have received an estimate from HOP for my living room painting and hope to get that set up right away. I am very pleased with Hands on Painting.

Arrived when they said they wood. Very good work and cleaned up when they were through. Cannot ask for more than that.

They were great to work with and they did a very good job. They painted my office for me. Two painters showed up and it took less than 4 hours to do the work. I am very happy with what they did for me and I plan on using them again in the future.

Wonderful job! the repaiman came on time, covered everything for protectiion,fixed the racks with mesh to prevent them from coming back, primed and painted. i am delighted and will use this company again.

They removed and repair moulding around windows. Moudling was glued on and created alot of damage when removed. They did a great job and worked dillengently to repair.

HOP was selected among other bidders who had not as many A ratings on Angies List, and HOP had a higher price than some. We were hoping to get excellent quality work for paying a bit more. In the end, I would rate very good, but not excellent. The work was scheduled 3 weeks in advance of start date, and duration without handywork to last 3.5 days. The handywork involved about 1.5 extra days worth of work, and the job took 7 days, plus having to call them back. The quality was mixed, with most of it very good, but the trimwork wasn't. Because of that issue, we called the company back to fix it and they were very responsive. Also, after the job was considered complete, a neighbor who does his own handiwork noticed the closet maid shelving was installed upside down, so he corrected this for us. And the handiman who painted the inside of a closet didn't clean up after himself and splattered the floor with paint. The billing for the Time and Labor Handiman portion was inaccurately charged and we had to ask HOP to correct which they did to our satisfaction. At no time did we see anyone working past 3:30PM as we have with other companies' we've hired from Angies list, which shows me there is a less than strong effort to meet schedules. In the company I work for, one gets a raise for performance, and if you don't perform, you don't get one. So I have high standards. Overall, the work was done to our satisfaction but involved inconvenience to us and aggravation for having to complain. HOP has other a number of worker teams, and I must've been sent the B team since the ratings are so good elsewhere on the site.

They sent a crew of three painters who worked all day. They prepped, painted and caulked as necessary, and power washed the deck. They cleaned up all materials and the areas they worked in. They didn't spill paint on the ground or get paint on the siding or aluminum trim. They left adequate amounts of touch-up paint. The next day they sent a carpenter who installed new door seals. Two days after that they sent a crew to apply sealer to the deck. They placed plastic on the sides of the house to protect it from the sealer. They finished the deck in half a day. I had some concerns that the sealant used on the deck might have been degraded by a rain that occurred about nine hours after they finished the deck. I contacted them and they said they would send out a manager to inspect the deck. They said they would reseal the deck if the sealant had not adequately dried before the rain. Because of their schedules and the holidays this took a couple of weeks. I was not billed for the work until I was fully satisfied. At this time I couldn't be more pleased with their performance.

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and it was fine. They were excellent. It was a lot of work, and there was also repair work, and I thought it was a good deal.

See above. No work done, and no estimate given. UPDATE - WAS CONTACTED AND THERE SEEMS TO HAVE BEEN A PROBLEM WITH MY RECEIVING ESTIMATE BY EMAIL. THEY HAVE RESENT THE ESTIMATE SINCE SEEING MY COMMENTS HERE. Will post again if work is done next Spring.

We called on a Thursday and left a message. Called again the following Monday and left another message. Neither message has been returned. We're moving on to the next contractor.

The painters arrived on time, they were professional and courteous. They were here for several days and all went very well. I was very pleased with their work. I was very happy with the results.. After living here for 30 years, my home has a new appearance. My neighbors were very impressed.
