Hands On Painters did a superb job. The painting itself was flawless. They were respectful of my furnishings and took care with everything. It was a pleasure to have them working in my home. I will ask them back for other projects.

Job went smoothly and the team did exactly as we asked. We are a hands on, actively involved project team and that was well received by Hands on Painters. We are planning our next small job with them soon.

I was very happy with the work that was completed in my garage. My garage needed a new drywall ceiling. Everything looked good after the job was completed. The entire process from beginning to end was easy. The folks at Hands on Painters were professional and responsive.

Call to get quote never received a return call to even tell me "I am to busy"

Don't do 45 or more linear foot of drywall damage!!! That's odd considering they are running a coupon of 7 hrs of drywall water damage. The coupon doesn't mean anything.

The job was completed in a timely manner. I was completely satisfied with the work completed.

Outstanding! Got the 14 hour labor sale, In that time two painters changed the color of my master bedroom walls, ceiling, doors, and trim (except new baseboards). They repaired drywall and sanded the trim where necessary and I did not have to fuss about anything. They did a wonderful job and my original "builder grade" workmanship is gone.

They were prompt in both the estimate and the work. They arrived on time, finished early and did an excellent job. they even cleaned up after themselves. Drywall leaves a mess, but it was limited in this case. Much appreciated!

We contracted with Hand On Painters to fix a previous paint job that was horrific. The previous painters not only did a terrible job painting, but caused damage to other parts of our house as well. Hands On Painters did an amazing job fixing the awful paint job and repairing the damage the previous painters has caused! Charlie Brown was the "lead" painter and him and his crew were extremely thorough, cautious with our belongs, and excellent painters. They were punctual, professional, and left our house cleaned up at the end of each day - which was the complete opposite of the previous painters. Alex was the estimator that we worked with and we appreciated his help and efforts on the project as well. He was a pleasure to work with. After the very long and frustrating process with our builder, working with Hands On Painters and having our house turn out as good as it did was such a relief and we cant recommend them enough!

It was my great pleasure to have Rich come to my home to install my bath tub grab bars. From the moment he introduced himself, I knew that he was a kind and competent gentleman. He took his shoes off before going upstairs to my bathroom, and protected the tub with a drop cloth. I told him that I had forgotten to tell the owner that I also needed the toe trim behind my sink replaced, as moisture had caused it to split and pull away from the baseboard. Rich found a piece in his truck that he could use, but it was natural wood, and not painted white like the rest of my trim. We went into my basement and Rich found the perfect paint. I had pointed out that the toe trim all around my bathroom was pulling away from the baseboard, and he caulked all of it. We worked together to find the best placement for the grab bars, and he placed them perfectly. I can't say enough about his skill, the care he took to protect my home, and his great personality. If I ever need work done again, I would not hesitate to contact this company. Rich is a great ambassador for this company!

They did great work, everyone was professional, and they were easy to deal with. One quibble: When I was given the choice of being scheduled on the "short list" (which means they would squeeze me in when the schedule opened up due to my job being a relatively small one) or scheduling a hard date, I went with the short list. That was a mistake. I should have gone with the hard date. The work would have been done much sooner. But that's not necessarily their fault because I knew I was leaving it to chance. But when it came to the actual work, everything went really well.

It was extremely easy to set up our estimate, and Jonathan was very helpful during the estimate. I appreciated that he gave us the option to have just the area of drywall that was be repaired repainted versus having the entire wall repainted, and gave us the option to decide that on the day of service. Once I sent in our deposit, it took a week with three emails and phone calls to get someone to schedule our actual repair, which I was frustrated about as they had clearly received my check and cashed it. However, once the office called me I was able to schedule my repair, and we had no further communication issues. The gentleman who came out to do our repair and painting did an excellent job, and we are very pleased with the results. I would hire them again but be aware that sometimes their office is not as responsive as one might like and you may need to be persistent in contacting them.

They came out to give an estimate, told me it'd be emailed to me within 2 days. I called 3 times to request the estimate and they never sent it and didn't return calls.

These guys are very good painters. They went the extra mile to tape and cover the room to prevent paint splatter. They primed stains that needed it and took their time and did a really good job. They may be a little pricier than some other painters but it's probably worth it. A little spot of wallpaper was damaged when the tape was removed and they came back to repair it. Good company, good painters.

First of all, the original estimate was completed in June/July timeframe with a promise of job completion in September. That never happened. I had to call them and then was given a date in October. They did call me at 3:30pm and asked if they could come the next day. By the time I got the message and called back it was an hour later and I guess 4:30 was too late for them to answer the phone. So I get a call the day before telling me that one worker would be out the next day. Given the scope of the job I asked for 2 workers. They agreed. When they showed they were late, didn’t have any idea what the job entailed, and proceeded to disappear for over 2 hours to shop for materials. After working for about 4 hours they said they were leaving-it was about 3:30pm. They never did complete the job. These guys apparently were subcontractors who knew nothing about the job. Hands On Painters did a great job for me several years ago with interior painting but I would not recommend hiring them for anything other than painting or anything they subcontract.

Awful. This company is not reputable. I purchased the deal and then 2 weeks out, selected the paint, had several conversations with Gale and Vicky in the office about my project. (This refers to the painting “deal”). The day before, 18 hrs out, I get a call from the scheduling manager Cesar, that he doesn’t think the “deal” will cover the job. Now, I’ve been waiting 2weeks for this job to start. And now he calls me to tell me this? I mentioned to Gale at the scheduling that maybe someone would like to come out and look at the job and give me and idea of how much paint etc. would be needed. She said that didnt do that for “deals”. I should have paid more attention to that. I had a very contentious conversation with Cesar - his response was for me to give him the suggestion as to what I wanted to do. I asked him to have the owner call me, which he did. Same story, blamed me for their incompetence. Then Jonathan told me he would cancel and have the “deal” fee refunded to me - which he did not. I had to contact Angie’s List and have it refunded. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They put my back 1 month at this point, I was having my rental apartment repainted and now I’m out 1 months rent because of their inaction. What it boils down to is this - it you buy a “deal” from them they will try and upsell you at the last minute. And by then you’re stuck. But I wasn’t and let them twist in the wind. Nice try - didn’t work with me, hope it doesn’t work with anyone else. They should not be on Angie’s List. If you hire them, I warned you.......

Overall very well. Price was the best quoted of 3 companies. Consult for quote was very indepth, and worked with me on what needed and didn't need to be done at the time. Only complaint was a several month lag between deposit and work due to schedule issues due to weather. Would have liked to have been appraised to delay before deposit, but work was completed promptly and looks excellent.

I was very happy with the finished product at the time. One issue: contractor told me the water issue had been resolved previously, so no additional work was needed. It's 6 plus months later and the wall is water damaged again. Wasted money.

Well the advertisement says for 8 hours of work but somehow they take 7 hours and 45 minutes for lunch. Arrived at 9 and was packing up by 430, excellent job though. So they skimp on the time. Excellent painters however.

They were excellent. We did comparison shopping. I did my homework and for everything I got, they were the best. They were really great. They were very good.

They arrived when they said they would. They were efficient and left the place clean when they were done.

Very well. New drywall needed to be put into the ceiling of one bedroom and that was handled very competently. The one difficulty was in scheduling the carpentry needed, particularly concerning the windows. That should have been done first to prevent paint chipping off later from the repainted woodwork.

Great job. We worked with them a few times and they have always done a nice job with carpentry, drywall, and painting.

They did a good job. They were very neat. They had to do some repair work as well. I was pleased with the results and cleaned up after themselves. They did the job in the amount of time they said it would take.

The contractor Hands on Painting did an excellent job. I would definitely hire them again.
