The painters arrived promptly every morning, and did an excellent job. Since mildew removal wasn't in the contract, and power washing didn't eliminate it, I spent a day with mildewcide removing as much as I could from our very shady back porch. The painters used the spray mildewcide the next day on areas that I couldn't reach. Now it looks great. They found lead paint in some areas, and were able to safely deal with it at an extra cost. I was pleased that they use expensive paint (Sherwin Williams Duration), which I've had great luck with in the past. I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for a painter.

Jonathan called to say he was running late on the date of our estimate appointment and I appreciated that. He was very personable and gave us a price that was about $100 lower than other estimates we had received. I asked to be put on their schedule ASAP because of an upcoming issue that would make it hard for the work to be done. They were able to get the work done well within the time frame I asked for. The two workers were punctional, courteous and did a fantastic job. They cleaned up and that was a relief. I would definitely tell others to use Hands On Painters.

He came on Wednesday, couldn't give me the estimate and said it would be e-mailed to me the next day (Thursday). Didn't receive it Thurs so called Friday morning and was told I'd get the estimate by the end of the day. Still haven't received it. Sorry guys, not chasing you for your business.

We have been waiting two weeks for the estimate. When two days had passed from the initial meeting, I called his office number with no answer. I waited to the next day and called again. His office assistant said they were waiting on something and the estimate would be sent out by the end of the day. Still nothing. I then called again and left a message. No one has returned my calls or sent me an estimate.

The rooms in the house were long overdue for a ceiling & wall patching and paint job. The estimate given was very fair and the two workers that came were very hard working and professional, rarely taking a well deserved short lunch breaks. I couldn't believe what they accomplished in three days! Now I wish I had taken "before" photos. Everything looks outstanding, I couldn't be happier with my choice of using this company. There are 2 other bedrooms that need to be remodeled and I will be calling Hands On Painters when I'm ready to have them completed. Thank you so much!

The initial estimate was done just a few days after I called, then I waited a few weeks for the actual job to get started. The scheduling was unclear to me - instead of giving a start date, they have all of their jobs on a list and as one gets finished, they will call whoever's next. So they estimated that it would take about 3 weeks to get to me, but I got a call after 2 weeks that they were ready to start. The crew arrived punctually, they were very professional and thorough. The manager was there first thing in the morning when the job began, just to go over the scope one more time and make sure I didn't have any questions. He then left for other jobs but was always available via cell phone if anything came up, which was fine because we didn't have any issues. He stopped by two more times after that, just to check on things, and make sure I was still happy with the work. I really appreciated how customer-service oriented everyone was. The job looks great, and I will definitely call these guys again when we're ready to tackle the interior of the house.

The quote he gave was $17,000 and he called back to see if we wanted to still have the work done. The quote was out of my price range so we didn't end up using the deal for the the 4 hours of drywall work.

My experience was fine. Scheduling went well. I felt the price was too expensive for the work.

After initially contacting Hands on Painters, the receptionist Angela returned my call and arranged for an estimate. The estimator and owner, Jonathon was very prompt and made suggestions as I discussed the things I wanted done in our house. He also suggested that we put up crown molding in the family room and I am so glad he did. The result is beautiful. After making our deposit, we were able to lock in dates for service. We contacted Hands on Painters to confirm the service the Thursday before the service was to begin. The team lead, Eddie, went through the contract with my husband to make sure he had everything scheduled we were interested in having done prior to the team starting that Monday. My daughter recently moved out and her bedroom took a great deal of abuse as she grew up in that room--especially through the teenage years. However, Hands on Painters made it look like a brand new room. I can't even describe the difference in the quality of the walls and room. It looks like a new room in an older house. Rich, the handyman did our crown modeling and kitchen backsplash. The both look outstanding. i am so pleased that I am already planning to have Hands on Painters come back to paint our dining room and living room as well as put up more crown modeling in our hallway. The only complaint I have is that the painters had to rush on the 5th day to finish everything up and there are a few spots in the kitchen that could have benefited from better patch work. Overall though , a positive experience. Just be prepared for a lot of dust afterwards and major housecleaning needed.

Excellent communications. I live 1000 miles away and was able to handle everything by phone an email. Very easy to work with. Company coordinated with my tenant to fit my tenant's schedule and completed the work when promised and on time. Final work was excellent.

When they were done they repainted the entire ceiling so it all looks seam less and much more attractive than what it was. They arrived on time for the quote gave me a fair price and worked with my schedule to complete the work. They did a great job masking off everything in the beginning and cleaning everything up when they were finished. I would definitely use them again.

They did an absolutely phenomenal job and I actually having them come back on September to complete the rest of the work that we were quoted. They work with us and got us in quickly because we needed the work done as soon as possible.

The Estimator person (Cesar) came on time (actually 5 minutes earlier than the scheduled appointment) and completed all details info for proposal that he submitted shortly afterward. The proposal quote was reasonable in comparing with two other local companies. The works started within a week of its proposal and completed on time as scheduled (1 and 1/2 days with 2 people). The quality of this work was fantastic! These two guys were working through lunch break and completed their cleanup nicely at the end of their work day. We definitely will love to have contract work with them many times in the future.

This is a company I have used in the the past---primarily for painting and some light handyman work. They are easy to work with and I've been very satisfied. Perhaps because this is a busy time of the year, things were a little off. It took 7 weeks from the time of my deposit to the time that my project was started. Communication was not good. For example, Bob started the job on Thursday (July 24th), and I assumed that the work would be completed the next day; however, I was told at the end of the day that he would not be returning until the following Tuesday. Surprise! Surprise! Additionally, a small part of the project could not be completed, due to lack of time, I guess. And I had some time and material questions, which I discussed with Alex and Cesar. Overall, I was okay with what was done.

The job went well.. Ron and Bob arrived at the scheduled time and after going over the jobs that needed to be done, work began immediately. Ron did all the power washing while Bob worked on getting the supplies for the hand rails. Bob then made repairs. The men returned each day at the scheduled time. Because all the work was outside, they were very aware of impending rain and made sure the staining and painting was done so it wouldn't ruin their work.

It went well! They plastered and painted over two different areas. The end result looks nice and they did good work. They were right on time and scheduling was painless.

It was a lot of money, they done the work discussed more plus more so there were extra expenses. I thought the price was a little high but it wast worth fighting about. I couldn't understand the estimate. He had four different options that were very difficult since the ones at the bottom were more important. The total was over $5,060 and the significant part of this whole thing is that there were canvas and beaver board layers found under the top layer of boards that cost me extra money. The guys did a good job with the painting but the rehabilitation is what made this project expensive.

The work performed and the workmen performing it were excellent and professional. They arrived and concentrated on the work to be done. They were very careful to put down tarps to avoid paint drips. They also cleaned up everything when they finished.

I purchased the $149 Big Deal for four hours of handyman service, wood rot restoration/repair or exterior carpentry, and painting. I had to supply all the materials which cost me about $100. The carpenter arrived on time. He did an excellent job repairing the door frames, painting them, and then cleaning up. The job took almost exactly four hours.

Writing review long after the service was performed (guessing on service date). We purchased the $99 deal from AL, and ended up paying additional for him to be able to finish the areas we wanted since it was over the alotted time frame. As I recall, technician was friendly and professional. Scheduling was prompt and easy.

Never responded to my voice mail message. Will not contact again

They were excellent and very professional. They came in, looked at the work to be done, and gave us a reasonable estimate. They were right on anything that went wrong. The little button that regulates the dimming of the light switch was misplaced while they were painting. They couldn't find it but they came back the next day and replaced it.
