We've used HOP before and will be back again as needed. From first contact through job completion it is always a pleasure to work with them. Ideas were offered during initial consultation for work that might be considered/areas where costs could be saved/areas to focus on to get maximum value for the dollar. Estimate is detailed and itemized so we could make selections about what to do and what to hold off on. Scheduling of this job was disrupted by the major snowstorm, and the company was communicating throughout and was flexible in re-arranging things to make it all work. A slight switching of colors in two rooms was promptly fixed the following day. Job was great, home looks beautiful.

They showed up on time they called the day before they came. And told me what time they would approximately be here. The job was larger than ticipated but I have plenty of paint to go around. They worked hard all day. And finished and made a beautiful job.

The service was okay. There was an additional $115 cost on top of the $129 Big Deal. It was an additional charge of $45 per hour. They were on time. The job they did was not the best. I would tell someone considering using them to go with a different company. The price for three hours, I felt they knew that it was going to take longer than three hours when they did the Deal because when they first called they told me that it would more than likely take longer than three hours.

The service was great. It turned out to be the same person. I had used them before through Angie’s List for another small job and I got the exact same painter who was really great. He was wonderful, personable, and did a really good job. There were additional fees to the $129 Big Deal. He ended up staying longer than expected. I was not wild about that, but he did such a good job that I paid them without complaining about it. The additional cost was about $90. I believe the invoice said that he had stayed for an extra hour-and-a-half beyond the three hours I paid for. He ended up staying for four-and-a-half hours. I would grade the painter himself an A. I just let him do what he did and did not rush him, but I do not think he needed to stay the extra time. So, I was not wild with the second invoice. I was surprised and it is not pleasant one from the company, but I liked him so much and the job itself was so good that I cannot complain. I would consider using their service again, but whoever shows up, I would be very specific about like telling them that they know exactly three-hours and we would not be paying any penny more. I would tell them to tell me if they cannot do what they needed to do in three-hours right away.

Ronnie was great. He arrived within the window. announced the start time and said he'd check in 20 or so minutes before my 3 hours was up. 20 mins prior he showed me where he was, had offered to repair something related that I hadn't asked for and I was thrilled to have the option to have it done 'right' vs. just paint over stuff cuz the homeowner didn't say anything. someone from the company came out to give me estimates on 3 other things I was considering. that took 10 minutes and he's supposed to email me the estimate. haven't seen it yet, but the work that Ronnie did looks very good. He also found a stash of money while he was cleaning up and moving tarps, which he immediately called me upstairs about. Thanks, Ronnie, it all looks good.

The manager came in and couldn't get the work done in the right amount of time. They had the time to do the work, but they came in and decided they weren't going to do the full amount. They don't want you to feel like you're getting a deal, and I really don't like that.

The provider arrived on time and ready for work. He was meticulous and the job was done superbly. I am extremely pleased and would use the provider again.

Responded immediately to request for a quote. Estimator was prompt and thorough. Very easy scheduling the work and the crew that came were very courteous, efficient, responded well to specific requests as far as which work should be done first, and cleaned up very well after the work was done. Phenomenal work at a good price done quickly with a smile. What else could you possibly need? Highly recommended!

Prompt on time. Kept in communications of time and place. Brought all necessary materials that were required. Didn't try to upcharge me for services. Did not watch the clock. Professional individual that performed quality work and never left until I was completely satisfied. Definitely recommend this firm for any of their services.

Beautiful, he did a really good job, he didn't stop, worked all the way through, and finished my kitchen in the 3 hours. He came on time, left on time, he was a hard working man. The kitchen looks Beautiful.

Painter was professional , tidy, pleasant and skilled.

It went very well. Don and his helper did the job professionally and swiftly in just two days. They were helpful and gave me some useful advice.

they did what they said they'd do and nothing more. Mozart of our bathroom has a vaulted ceiling and they left that upper part of the wall unpainted. However, they found time to look at other unfinished projects around our house and offer a quote to finish them.

Painters showed up on time and did an excellent job. I possibly could have found a cheaper price, but they were well worth the cost. Their quote included the ceiling, which no other painter included. I will recommend and/or use again.

Excellent service. They even addressed problem areas not specified in contract, including applying mildew killer and stain blocker, and extra layer of paint, where needed,

They have become our sole source painters. They are very neat about what they do. They do an excellent job. They don't paint on anything except on where it is supposed to be. The guy that comes out to do the estimates is Zack. So far they haven't screwed anything up. They keep the price competitive. Their professionalism is an A+ plus service for both the guy that comes out to do the estimate and the painters. We just had our bathroom redone and those people stayed until 9:30-10 o'clock in the night. We also never knew when they were coming in but for Hands On Painters, we know when they are coming in and when they are leaving and we appreciate that. They don't make a mess of the place and really clean up after themselves. They put the plastic over everything to make sure none of your furniture get stains. They are gentle about moving the furniture around. I don't think you can go wrong with Hands On Painters. As long as they remain competitive on the price, we will use them again. We get estimates from other places usually. If they were $50 more or $100 we would just say it is okay because we have had so much business with them. However, if it turns out to be $500 more, I would try somebody else.

We are very happy with the price, service, and quality of the job done by Hands on Painters. We recently had tenants in our home while we were away and they did a fair amount of wall damage. We contracted long distance with a different company to clean and prime the walls and provide a separate estimate for interior painting. We realized after the cleaning job but before the interior painting job that the other company had taken advantage of our ignorance of pricing and our long-distant situation and had given us a ridiculous price. So, we started looking for a more honest company. Managed to find at least one other company that was just out to overcharge before we found Hands on Painters. Derrick was very pleasant to work with and provided lots of information to my questions about paint quality. Workers showed up when they said they would and worked diligently until their quitting time each day. Generally worked from about 8:30/9:00 to 4 with a lunch break. It was necessary a few times to point out some problem areas, but they responded pleasantly and fixed any issue that was seen. Based on our experience, there seems to be a fair amount of dishonest companies in this area, but Hands on Painters does not seem to be one of them. I would recommend them.

Unfortunately he did the whole job in one day which you really can't do with a job like that I found out afterwards. I'm not going to do anything about it, it is just minor. Very nice man. Went about his work. He took a ceiling fan down for me. He did a lot.

The job went extremely well. We were very pleased with everything. Hands On Painters were professional, careful, thorough, and responsive. The fact that they employ a skilled carpenter who came out to fix our deck was a big plus. I highly recommend them.

The workers were very good, professional. I was nervous and unsure of colors. They were patient and worked with me on my changes. I've waited a while to live with the results and am very pleased.

I think they are very good and have very excellent people. Prompt in returning my calls, courteous.

(The house is an older home, and the paint and siding had not had a lot of recent attention so it demanded a attention. The job went great! Prompt arrival and power washing and some prep the first day, followed by 2 more days of prep and painting to complete it and it looks much improved! Painters didn't mess around, and took pains to keep the mess off the shrubs and lawn, and surrounding areas. Overall, I am very pleased, and will call them again for other work as it comes up. (2 minor points - the plastic bracket on a motion detector for a side entrance light fixture was broken during prep & paint of that doorway, and a rain spout down spout bracket was displaced and lost, and likely ended up wrapped up in the plastic drop clothes that took the mess away. Both are minor and trivial, and I am replacing spouts later this year anyway. If I had thought about it, I might have taken precautions.)

The painters did a fantastic job. They showed up every day on time and stayed the entire day. They covered our floors and furniture. They were a pleasure to work with. The painting job was awesome. Bottom line is this is the second time we have used the company and we are very pleased with both jobs. We will be recommending your company to our friends. .

Actual work started on September 18th. Per Jonathan: ?Because of the rain every two days our schedule for exterior [work] constantly changes.? The Hands On Painters handyman installed a double keyed dead bolt on the side door. Installing that kind of lock instead of a full lockset was faster to install and easier on the door. He worked to get it to fit in a custom door and frame. (Everything in an 80+ year old house is custom.) The door always needed ?hip action? to get the door to close; he fixed that too. Hands On Painters did REALLY good prep work. They went beyond doing what was just adequate to do what was right. They did a great job on the front porch, filling and, actually rebuilding, the base of the columns in several places where it was needed. I was really impressed by their attention to detail in this especially and in all of their other prep work. The work Hands On Painters did looks great, actually better than I expected. The side and kitchen doors and frames were filled, smoothed and painted. The metal porch to the kitchen looks the best it has in the 30+ years we have been here. They were very careful to make sure the paint stayed where it belonged. There were no paint splatters or drips that I needed to clean up. Thank you for the outstanding work.

It went well. They were very professional. The response from giving me the estimate to coming to do the job, was rather slow because of all the rain we had. After they had finished the job, I called them again, because I wanted them to do the inside of the door as well. They came out a few days later and did the job. Eleanor J. Asghar
