From call requesting service to installation was professional and timely.

My house was broken into leaving a broken window in my kitchen. I called these guys and within 2 days, they came out to fix the window. They arrive right on time, did the install, cleaned up after themselves and left. I was very pleased. They quoted me one price initially and then charged me a different price, when I called to clarify, they honored the original price quoted to me.

They did a super job. I had to pay more than the Big Deal price because I had extra windows. They put my air conditioners out and put them back in but they did not clean up afterwards. I noticed that on my floor so I had to go up and clean the floor.

Workmen could have been more conscious of the dirt from their shoes. Company should provide removal shoe covers when entering homes.

They were responsive and professional at first. When the tech came to my house to give me an estimate, he never measured the glass or even got close to it, which was a red flag to me. I had received an estimate from another company the week prior, which came to a total of $400, with $300 of that being labor (this is why a $99 labor voucher seemed like such a great deal). When I got my estimate from Glassperts, it was for $400, including the $99 voucher. They were charging me $300 for the glass that another company was offering for $100. When I sent Glassperts the other company's estimate, they told me that their technician said we had a higher level of glass in our window, which is what our estimate was based on. When I asked for the plain, less expensive glass it only took $30 off the amount. I told them that it seemed shady to me that the tech didn't measure, etc., and that I felt they were making up pricing to equal what it would have cost had I not purchased the Angie's List voucher. All the woman said was that if I wanted to cancel my order, to do it through Angie's LIst and not them, and she said I wasn't going to find the window for less money anywhere else. Then I received an email from Angie's List saying that Glassperts was no longer accepting their vouchers.

Scheduling was easy, but the first person who came out did not do a proper evaluation and gave me an estimate. The work was scheduled and the representatives came by, but could not do the work because it was a Pella window and not something that could easily be taken apart. They said that the estimate may have been too low because of the initial mistake. I was upset because I had taken time away from work twice now and the window was still not fixed. I called the office and the manager / owner decided to honor the estimate, and in a couple of days they came out and replaced the panel with a new Pella panel. They were, through all of this, polite and knowledgeable. The fact that they honored what was apparently an erroneous estimate (to their disadvantage) impressed me. It also shows that their intent to provide good customer service, and they also stand by their word. I would definitely recommend them and use their services again.

Both shower enclosures really update our 20 year old bathrooms

They would have had an "A" from me....but I paid someone to be there to let them in the house and they called in the morning and rescheduled for the afternoon...If they could have called the night before that would have been ok. But they did a great job and I would use them again.

They installed a shower that I purchased called Vigo frameless shower. It came with instructions and everything. It started off fine until my tenant noticed that the frame was not square and it was leaking water. I contacted Glassperts again to have them re-install the glass. It was a year later and the guy came to inspect it told me that it wasn't installed improperly but that someone had fell and cause the problems. This was not under warranty. So they quoted me $300 on 7/18/2013. I finally contacted them to have the work done in March of this year. At this time they said they had to come back out and make sure it was just labor and not additional parts. After they came they told me that it was determined that the cost would be $1600 and they would re-install the entire glass and replace it. When I asked why they would do this they said the estimator determined that the shower was incorrectly installed. I told them that they should pay for that since they were the ones that installed it. All of a sudden they didnt remember that they had installed it and asked if Ihad the receipts. When I told them that I wouldnt bother sending them the receipts when I could send it directly to the Maryland Home Improvement Commissioner instead suddenly they found my information. But they told me that it was out of warranty even though this was their faulty installation. My opinion is that a faulty installation should always be the responsibility of the installer. My final decision was not to bother with a company that couldnt stand behind their own installation and workmanship. Why would I use them again to install a new shower and for 2.5 times the amount. Do not use this company for installing a shower and personally I would not use them for any services ever again.

The install itself went fine. The technicians were very professional and answered my questions. The consultation was another story. The tech was running behind which is understandable; however, I had to wait an hour and a half after my appointment for a 5 minute estimate. I had to initiate contact with the company to determine when the tech will show and I had to call two times for follow up. Although the work was done correctly, I would not recommend this company due to having to wait for over an hour.

The initial Glassperts estimator came out an hour late, but was nice and professional once here. Following that, the admin called to schedule our window glass replacement, but informed me that there would be an additional $35 fee to cover additional labor and materials. When I pointed out that the deal was for $99 and I already had the window material, she said that because the estimator had been late, they would waive this fee. The technician then came out to our house, took 5-10 minutes to tell me the window we had gotten from the manufacturer was the wrong size and I would need to get a different size. He said that he would come back and install the correct size window once we had it. It took two weeks for the new window to arrive and once it did, I called Glassperts back to schedule the completion. The owner informed me that it would be another $99 for them to come back out. This was a surprise to me as the technician had told me that he would come back at no charge since the work hadn't been completed. After going back and forth with the owner, he refused to honor the deal and suggested that I should just get my money back from Angie's List. As of the writing of this, the window is still not fixed.

They had no problem taking mirror down. Took it to van and cut to size requested. However, instead of cutting the bad side (where silver had worn off) they cut the good portion. They did not have tools e.g. Sand paper, whatever to polish cut sides. Due to very inclement weather their van with all proper tools to do the job properly broke down. We feel the job should have been rescheduled or taken with them them to a location where it could have been professionally finished. While our intention is to have a frame put around this mirror, it is not going to happen in the immediate future. Now the damaged portion of the mirror, where the back was hidden by the metal strip, is now totally visible. In our opinion, the price charged was out of proportion for the work performed.

I love my glass shower door.

We liked working with this company. The product was good; they were responsive and punctual. They were easy to communicate with.

I called the company to set up an appointment for an estimate for glass tops for 1 large wrought iron table behind a couch and 2 bedside tables. The company representative showed up (Monday, 12 Aug) 30 mins early but someone else was home and allowed him to measure the tables. Once he was finished he said that the company would email me an estimate and the glass could be finished within a week approximately. I waited until that Thursday (15 Aug) to receive my estimate but it only had the 2 bedside tables for $345. I called several times on Friday and emailed my question concerning where the estimate was for the big table but did not receive any phone calls or emails. The answer machine did not say that the company was closed and would be open on Monday. I finally talked to the admin on Monday who apologized for the mistake and would send me the estimate. It is now Thursday (22 Aug) and I am still waiting. I will check with other companies. Very unprofessional and poor score for responsiveness. They lost my buisiness.

I called on Wednesday to get an estimate and they were able to give me one over the phone since I had the dimensions of the window. They were able to come out the next day to fix the window. The guys arrived on time and quickly had the window out and were cutting the glass in no time. They completed the work within an hour and the window looks great! Be prepared if you pay by credit card, they charge a 3% processing fee (not really a big deal to me)

Greener Solutions and Trevor Green had set up an appointment for an estimate to have some glass replaced in a waiting room. The first estimate went well, but after discussion we came up with a better idea. We set up another estimate date - to which Trevor Green did not show up because "an unexpected shipping truck arrived to his business". if that's true or not- not a big deal. We set up another estimate date. Trevor Green did not show up, and there was no communication as to why. To me, this is poor management of your company. I will not be contacting him for any more jobs.

Once they got it done the work was fantastic, but it took them awhile for them to get the job completed because they kept rescheduling.

They were idiots. First of all it took them 3 business to return my call when I left a message. By the time they called me back I had already interviewed half of the 8 companies I researched. I talked to the guy on the phone a little bit and told him that since they were reporting to be a green company and that I was interested in what they might have to say that was different or any other information. I talked to the gentleman for a few minutes and he said enough things that I said "Ok it was worth my while to have you come out and talk to me." I made an appointment. The guys that came said less to me than the guy on the phone. They had no samples. They barely had materials. Their windows didn't have any ratings on them. I asked them some more questions and the guys that were there said they would have to ask the main guy about it and he couldn't be there. They said they were going to have to get back to me and then they never followed-up. I asked for a quote and answer questions and never got any response.

See above -- couldn't have gone much worse since I wasted a whole day waiting for someone who didn't show up and then couldn't get a professional answer as to why.

They came out within a few days of calling and beat all other estimates we had gotten. They gave us the best price qoute and after we accepted did the job quickly. They do all of their glass fitting on site so there is no waiting. Overall the job was done quickly and properly. We would hire them again if needed.

Trevor was able to give me a price over the phone based on the size of my window. In less than 24 hours his team came to my house and repaired the window on the spot in less than 30 minutes. It was very appealing to have the window repaired in my driveway. And, they cleaned the window! Wish the rest of my windows were as clean as the one they replaced! :-)

A townhouse that I am renting out in Owings Mills was unfortunately broken into and vandalized by some teenagers on a Friday afternoon. The tenants called me that night after coming home to find the house in shambles and they reported that one of the basement windows was kicked in. I called Greener Solutions that night and was able to set up a meeting for an estimate the very next morning on Saturday. The owner showed up right on time and gave me an estimate on the spot. He said he would order the replacement window first thing on Monday. He also coordinated with the tenants on a good time to install the replacement window. I got word from the tenants that replacement window had been installed on Thursday and that it looked as if the damage had never occurred. Overall dealing with Greener Solutions was a very good experience and I will definitely recommend and use them in the future.
