Gate Escapes

The work was so good. He was really good. The new sidewalk looks so nice. The old sidewalk was brick but it was only about 3 feet wide and it was all breaking up including the mortar in between them so it was a hazard. He tore it out and completely redid it from the foundation up. It looks so nice. While we are very happy with the new walk, I initially asked the contractor to leave the bricks and torn up concrete. When we realized we'd paid for a disposal fee ($250) we decided to have the contractor remove the concrete. I spoke with him on the phone and he agreed to remove the concrete. He has not removed the concrete and does not return calls. I also called him to see if he would be interested in a paid consulting job, and those calls were not returned either. A polite, I am not interested would have been nice.

This was not the first time Jeff, the owner, had completed work for me and it certainly won't be the last. I met him a couple of years ago and I have been pleased ever since. He's easy to get ahold of either by phone or email. Very responsive to schedule changes or changes due to weather. Initially he came to our home to assess our yard and see how much materials we truly needed, but each time thereafter we were able to discuss the details over email. He and his crew are very dedicated, courteous and unbelievably quick. The last time they were at my house, they did all of the work mentioned above and installed French drains in just a few hours. I never knew that landscaping could help the foundation of my home so much. THANK YOU JEFF! He is also very knowledgeable about native plants and can successfully rearrange gardens or suggest different items to help them look their best.

It was great! Jeff's designs and work were beautiful. He was responsive, completed the work on time, and it was a pleasure to work with him.
