This is the second time I have hired Exterior Experts and I will hire them again. This time they did a full house siding replacement. It looks great, the detail work was excellent, and we have already received multiple compliments from our neighbors. The Exterior Experts team works with you at every step - discussing options, prices, and timeline. They stay on top of the details and if anything goes wrong they make it right!

The process from start to finish was painless, professionally done and from the owner throughout their employees all were very professional when dealing with them. I had some add on’s to the job and they had no problem with satisfying my request. I’m very pleased with the job they did and the price was very fair for the job done on my porch. Excellent the contractors workers where very engaging and answered all my questions. Plus they cleaned up after themselves better than any other contractor I’ve used. I would definitely recommend them to others and use them again.

The work itself was done very well. My problem was the communication was poor. They were cost effective and their price was good.

The owner Neil Snyder is very unprofessional and disrespectful. They don’t return calls and he doesnt take accountability. The low ratings are accurate I’m proof. I’ve been disrespected by the owner and because of a contract have to accept his work. The contract was written up 2 weeks after he came out and I trusted them as the experts. When the contractors came I noticed that they are building out the long way and having the short side against the house as if it’s a runway. I’m no expert and far from a fool I’ve never seen a deck like that and I’m sure they have never built one of such either. I was told I was being deceitful. As experts of exterior it’s just a title. Don’t be fooled by the prices. Save yourself the headache. And no I’m not a competitor, in Neil’s words I’m just a tenant and not qualified to be in the conversation but was qualified when he contacted me to do the job.

It was excellent. They arrived on time and did an excellent job. I would definitely recommend their service.

We needed a new roof on our home as that storm that came through this winter caused a branch to fall on our roof. We were already considering getting a new roof but now we didn't have a choice! Our neighbor recently had her deck done and she referred us to Exterior Experts. We got several estimates on the project and as anyone knows you always get rid of the lowest and the highest bid right of the bat. The 2 companies left were Exterior Experts and another local contractor, both estimates were close in range. The reason we chose Exterior Experts is because the owner Neil, dealt with us directly, he followed up with us about everything we needed to know and had the best price for the quality of work we recieved. The other contractor sent out a salesman who was pushy and who didn't make the situation feel as personal. It's hard enough to trust anyone these days, especially contractors, but Neil did an excellent job and was very personal throughtout the entire situation. We would definitly recommend them to anyone interested in home improvement projects and who's looking for the highest quality work.

Just awful. I told the sales person, Neil Snyder, that I wanted an architectural shingle. He asked me if I wanted a 25 or 30 year shingle. I said 25 - how did I know that the architectural shingle was only a 30 year. So I was unhappy when they installed a drab flat roof. But the contract said I was getting a 25 year shingle, so buyer beware. The worst problem is the quality of the workmanship. The shingles didn't lay flat, didn't look like they were cut straight, and it's just sloppy. I'm still finding nails and junk in my yard. I even got a flat tire because they were all over the driveway. We had Neil come back several times because we were unhappy, and I'm sure he knew that the old shingles weren't taken off. Now, after a year, I realize that the crook didn't remove the old shingles - that's why it wasn't flat or straight. And the contract clearly stated that they would remove the old shingles and install new felt paper. The price was very cheap - guess you get what you pay for.

We talked to this business at the MD Home & Garden show and they said in addition to roofing they did patios, fencing, etc. We told the rep we were looking to have a 60 foot section of privacy fencing replaced as well as repair of posts and rails on the split rail portion of the fence (1 acre of property). The rep assured us the did this work and would call to set up an appointment for an estimate. A week later someone called and we set up an appointment for Thursday, 3/23/11 at 4:00 pm for an estimate. By 5:00 pm no one showed up or called. us. We called the company and were told they may still show up or they would have someone call us. At 6 pm "Nick" called asking what we wanted and I explained. I was then told they did not want to do small jobs like this and were concentrating on roofing. I wish the rep at the Home & Garden show would have known this and the person who scheduled the appointment would have told us this as well. We wasted an afternoon waiting around for this company who never showed. Very unprofessional.
