Description of Work: I had two pairs of shoes that needed stitching up. Other shoe repair places had said they were not able to do it, and that it couldn't be done. Eugene's did it wonderfully, and it three days! I will get years more wear out of the shoes. I am going to Eugene's for all my shoe repairs from now on!

 + -1 moreThe man who answered the phone was very rude and stated they no longer provide the service for luggage repair. I asked if he might be able to recommend anyone for the service and again he was very rude and stated no one wants to provide service for luggage repair. DO NOT CALL THEM!

 + -1 moreHis quality of his work was great. He is just amazing. He is from Russia and is an artist of his work. He repair my daughters over the knee sheep skin boots that she had taken to another place. She was about to throw them out but he completely fixed them to look like new.

 + -1 moreIt went perfectly. I took an old, but very expensive, pair of shoes to Eugene because the tips were shot. I live in these shoes and thought for sure they were irreparable (Eugene wasn't phased). He replaced half of the sole. They were EXPERTLY finished and detailed and I am so pleased with the job he did.

 + -1 moreI really didn't even know they could do this. A friend told me about Eugene's and I am glad she did. They did a great job. He even polished them up for me and now they look new again. This saved me a lot of money on not having to replace the shoes.

 + 1 moreThe owner is the worker and is always present with a smile. His friendliness is a bonus, as I continue to return for the quailty of the work that he performs. He gives an estimate of when the work will be complete, usually within two days, and has always had the job finished for me on time. Even when I've taken in 6 or 7 pairs of shoes at once.
Description of Work: Mr. Gomberg has done a variety of repairs for me over the years including: reheeling boots, replacing ripped insoles, replacing broken sandal straps, staining old leather shoes, and sewing damaged luggage. His skills are diverse and he is careful in his work. He is also honest when he cannot repair an item or feels that it is not in the customer's interest to do so.

 + -1 moreEugene always does a fine job, with shoes and purses emerging almost like new. His prices strike me as pretty standard for the industry. The repairs always are ready when promised. Eugene also has a good supply of shoe polish colors and leather cleaners for sale.
Description of Work: This is a good, basic, one-man shoe repair storefront in the Roland Park neighborhood. Early in October, I had a pair of too-tight shoes stretched. After spending 24 hours on Eugenes machine, they fit comfortably. In the past, Ive had basic shoe repair like heels replaced and toes reinforced. Ive also had shoes and purses dyed.
