DYS Construction finished my basement. They quote me 14 days and finished early. The professionalism and customer service was beyond my exoectations. I am super happy with the amazing work they completed.

They were excellent and they did a good job.

My wife and I hired DYS Construction for some remodeling on our new house we've purchased recently, which needed some work done. We mainly focused on the kitchen and LVT flooring and the result came out much nicer than we expected. To start with, they scheduled with us the same day I contacted them and they showed up that day to provide us a free estimate. Daniel and Alon were so professional, walked us through the whole project, gave us some very helpful ideas and came back to us with the final number and scope of work the next day. They started the project within two weeks of signing the contract. We didn't have to worry about ANYTHING besides choosing the finished materials which we both picked together. Their team was so clean, fast and professional, that we barely felt our home turned into a construction site during that project. We LOVE the outcome and highly recommend choosing them for your construction project.

DYS employees were professional, courteous and stayed on task. They showed up on time and made sure the area was clean when they left for the day. Project was completed in 3 days. If you want your project completed on time and done correctly, I recommend DYS. I love my new porch roof and can enjoy my patio anytime of the year.

I’ve had a major renovation done by DYS and absolutely can’t recommend them. First of the owner does not want to pull permits for his work, and was constantly complaining about it even though that was part of the contract. Now I have an additional bathroom that is not documented anywhere in the City. He does not have a licensed plumber nor electrician on staff. The electrical guy didn’t know basic code nor how to read electrical drawings. I had to constantly argue with them why I need so many lights and outlets, several of which did not work due to sloppy work. The owner was hardly ever on site and had no clue what was going on. When he did show up then mostly to complain about how he’s losing money on this job. He asked me a number of times to explain to his men what to do and check their work, and just because I’m working from home does not mean I’m available to babysit his workers. I had to constantly lend them my tools, some of which went missing. One day the owner showed up with his assistant to collect the last payment. He told me, he can get really nasty if I don’t pay immediately. At that point they were still not done with their work, I still had no proper heat, and haven’t seen the final bill either – all these years in Baltimore and I had no issues with crime, and now my contractor and his assistant are threatening me in my own house! The fact that they were 6 weeks late, and liquidated damages associated with breaching of the contract, were ignored. Apparently if you want DYS to execute what’s in their contract you better lawyer up. They left several holes in the exterior wall and once the weather got cold I had to deal with a mice infestation. The new toilet leaked and damaged the ceiling underneath. It took them multiple attempts to install the radiator – the wall looked like swiss cheese. They somehow connected the water heater with the central heating, so on a warmer winter day when the furnace isn’t constantly on there is no hot water in the faucets. The owner said he would come and take a look and I still haven’t heard back. To summarize: The framer Jose and drywall-er Vidal are all around skilled and hard working men that I would hire in a heartbeat, electrical crew is a fire hazard, and the owner is a greedy criminal.

Project went very quickly and turned out beautiful! Daniel is detail-oriented and a perfectionist and made sure every little nuance was remedied.
