Custom Requirements Inc

I would not recommend this company at all. It started first when they were taking out the concrete in the basement they decided to demolish my work bench too. Which they were not suppose to do. Then Memo the owner argued with me that it was rotted which it wasn?t. I told him the point is that they were not suppose to do that. Plus they did not totally cover my hardwood floors when they were removing the concrete so my wood floor has scratches all over it now. Then when they disconnected my hot water heater to move it, they did not cap off the end of the pipe so my water was running for 2 and half days and made a mess in the basement. Then Custom Reguirements of Maryland, Inc. put in a French drain in my basement because I had a water issue. They put the drain pipe above the floor level and the sump pump well opening is about 12 inches above the floor. So I would have to have a major flood in the basement that would be over 12 inches high of water for the sump pump to work. The well was always dry when it rained and the french drain never work. I had water still coming in and flooding my basement. Custom Requirements of Maryland, Inc replaced my work bench. But they did not put the door back on to the entrance to the basement when they were using a electric saw to make another work bench. I had a layer of saw dust throughout my house. That was another mess to clean up. Custom Requirements of Maryland, Inc. also replaced one of my studs under the staircase in the basement and that was not in alignment with the other stud. They had to redo that too. When Memo the owner came in to discuss the French drain not working and I was showing him the dark marks from water coming in on the floor, he said that was moisture and not water. Moisture and water are the same thing. Custom Requirements of Maryland, Inc. would not redo my French drain again. I just want it fixed right so I won?t have a water issue. I got some of my money back but not all of it. I finally used the sump pump for my dehumidifier to drain so I won?t have to empty the bucket all the time. And the pipes leaked that Custom Requirements of Maryland, Inc. put in for the sump pump and I had a flood on the other side of the basement. So do not let Custom Requirements of Maryland, Inc. work on your house get another contractor.

They work seems creative but well executed. We were not living in the house while the repairs were underway. We were a little disappointed when we found that they had left the garage in complete disarray instead of returning things to their previously appointed slots. I did not appreciate having to move > 200lbs of slate in order to park my car the first day I moved in.

The smaller job was about $5,000; the major job was $60,000. The experience was great and we were very happy with his work. He is very exacting and involved. He is willing to make corrections or changes. It was excellent. They were not the cheapest but they were worth it.

It went well. They are pretty flexible with their times. Their prices are very reasonable and competitive. Their work is very high quality. They are a multi-talented company so I don't have to hire anybody else to do more work.
