The tech arrived promptly and got right to work. Instead of re-keying three locks as planned, I did purchase two new, expensive security locks. The locksmith that was sent to my home was filthy from head to toe, and had horrific body odor. The next day, as I was testing the new keys I had made, one of the new locks that I had purchased fell off in my hand. I called the 877 number from the web-site and spoke to a customer service rep. I explained the problem and her response was "You want someone to come back out?", to which I stated, yes - I paid a lot of money for this of course I want someone to come out and fix it. I then asked her if I had to have the same locksmith or if someone else could come come out and she yes and asked me why. I told her that the tech was incredibly dirty and smelled terribly, and I thought it was very unprofessional. I was told the equivalent of too bad and she said the tech would be out that day. The tech called and said he would be out later. He again called and told me he would be there by six. At 6:45 he showed up with a friend in tow, and fixed the lock. As he was leaving the tech looked at me and told me that "The next time I wanted to call his manager, after he works in grease all day, and complain that he was dirty I should be careful". As a single woman living alone with two service men in her house, I found this to be very threatening - even more scary by the fact that he is a locksmith! I immediately called the 877 number and spoke to a different customer service rep who was so nice. She apologized immediately and let me know that a manager would call me before 10am the next day. Well, no phone call came so I called about about 4pm that afternoon and was informed that it would be anywhere between then and 48 hours later before I could expect a call from the office manager, Tom.So far, no call. The entire experience was terrible - and scary!
Description of Work: I purchased two new security locks and had them professionally installed, in additon to having one lock re-keyed.
