The internet service is acceptable. I feel like I am being over charged but they are the only one in town for phone service. I only use them because they are the only ones in town.

They suck. They just lie and they keep you on hold. They just stranglehold on the cable market here and you can’t get help when you need it. Unfortunately, we have not needed help for a while but when we did, they were terrible. I don’t have anything to compare their price to because they are the only cable company.

They are terrible. We don't have a choice in the City. Comcast is the only provider and so they have a monopoly. They are extremely expensive for what they provide. I wouldn't use them again in future.

I don't have a choice. Their service is not that great and it's expensive. If I had a choice, I would not use them.

I called & ordered one year of service for cable & internet. Set up a service appointment with sales for Monday 10/06. The service tech was late & (even after explaining to sales) didn't have the right latter for the job. So, after explaining the desired installation, set up installation with this service rep for next Monday (10/13). Today, the service rep showed up on time, but explained that they did not wire houses anew with cable. This could have been explained from the last tech that the cable company did not install cable outlets into the walls (as hard to understand as that is). This new rep had alcohol on his breath obviously from the night before (or maybe 4 or 5 hours ago). So, I called the supervisor & told him that I had to take down my entertainment center two times for no service whatsoever. He stated that "I hope you give us another chance" I told him to email me so I would have a direct line of communication with management & I would think about it & he said he was unable to do that! Management unable to solve problems, technicians unable to install cable into a wall from the cable company. What a colossal waste of time.
Description of Work: Order service for a one year contract, two service techs came out on two different Mondays & could not (or would not) install cable. The 2nd tech smelled of alcohol! I called a supervisor to resolve the issue & he would not (or could not) make one iota of effort to salvage the contract.

This company is a nightmare. My friends hire private people because they are afraid of the technicians. One came to my home, looked around and declared, "You must be rich."
Description of Work: I needed a repair to cable box. Very difficult to schedule. Finally the technician came. He looked and acted like an extra from "The Wire." He said he had the needed part in the truck. He went to his truck and vanished. Another call. Another visit. Cale box fixed Was charged for 2 calls.

Got a promotion for 29.99/month for 25MB internet. After being with FIOS for 4 years, decided to give it a try. First, basically you can do everything yourself. But the ordering people really don't know anything tech. They told me I need to do nothing, just connect my modem, then will be ok, although I have told them I was using FIOS at that time. Turns out you will need to switch your outside cable connection from Verizon to Comcast (for me, there are two connectors outside my house, one is for Verizon, the other Comcast) FOR SURE! Then I got some disconnection problems, every once in a while, the modem will reboot. Called tech support, they just told me reset the modem, then sent me a refresh signal. Saying everything will be good now. Which was not true at all. I really think those are very low level tech support just reading instruction out of paper. If you call again, they probably will get someone know more. But I diagnosed myself (I am IT professional myself, so knows some), turns out it's my wireless router's problem. So can't blame Comcast for bad connection on that. After switching router, now modem is working fine. Overall, the customer service is very responsive, and way more friendly than 4 years ago (the ones I have contacted with). But not very knowledgeable. Will see how it goes in a while.

I feel that their services are okay but whenever I switched from Verizon to them, they said they would give me a credit for $300 and they didn't do it so I had to fight for it. I don't know who is doing the selling. The door-to door salesman promised that but we had to fight, but we still haven't gotten it yet. It was supposed to be added to our bill and it was not added to our bill. It has been way past 90 days. I had to take a verification that he gave me a contract for $300. I haven't gotten the A-okay yet. The guy at the office was really good about it. There are some people I call who are from overseas and they don't understand you or they don't put things on the computer correctly. It's horrible. The guy promised me I am going to pay for what I got but it's probably $300. I am paying about $126 but after the year, it's going to go up and you have to pay for it. It's difficult not having people speak English. You can't understand them or they can't understand you. If you get people from the U.S., that's fine but if you get people from Mexico or whoever they are from, they don't care. I would use it again as long as I get the right people if I fight for it.

They were terrible and I had to fight for 3 months to get the advertised price. One month our bill jumped to $400 and then the next jumped to $600. They said it was because I had 19 dvr's and a lot of other equipment that was never installed. When I finally went to cancel with them, they could not locate the original inventory of what was installed at my home.
Description of Work: They stole about $700-$800 from us. I started out paying $89.99 a month.

My monthly charge is $240 monthly and the customer service is extremely poor. We had an outage caused by a company other than Comcast and it took me 5 days to get it reconnected. It took 5 separate phone calls to 5 separate customer service representatives; very few of whom spoke English that could be understood by anyone. Every time I spoke to someone it was as if I was starting all over again. The wait times to speak to an actual human being were in the 15 to 20 minute range each and every time. Their introductory rates are fantastic, but once the introductory rates run out the price get jacked up.
