So far so good. Although it was not the lowest price among several quotes I felt the 15 year maintenance free warranty along with the firm recommendation to not try to repair/ patch the old roof was worth the higher price. George performed the work as he said he would.

I'll be upfront, I didn't contract Coastal Roofing for my repairs. However, my interaction with them warrants a review here nonetheless. Long story short: They quoted be $9,800 to repair a roof when two other contractors quoted me $3,600 and $2,800. My roof is only 370 sqft, which works out to $24/sqft. I'm renovating a house in Baltimore and scheduled CR to come out and look at the roof work that needed to be done. I had multiple contractors coming through that day, both to look at the roof and other projects. I told CR that there may be other roofers there when they came back and their tone immediately changed and the person I was speaking with was clearly displeased. He came out, did the assessment of the roof and of me, and I don't doubt felt that he could get way more money out of me (new to the renovation process) than the job was actually worth. I didn't contract Coastal Roofing for any work, and they may very well do the best work in town on roofs. I can't comment on the quality of work. But the interaction I had with them, and the outrageous quote I was given by them, are worth mentioning. Whatever you do, get multiple quotes from multiple contractors. Always.

It went very well. I talked to the guy on the phone and he gave me an estimate. They had to use very large ladders to go up to the thirds story to check out the roof. We scheduled it within 3 weeks. They did the whole roof in 1 day. He is set up very well. Payment was easy with him having a mobile credit card reader. He seems to have a lot of experience with roofs around the city. They cleaned up well and left no mess.

They are Angels. I would recommend them to everybody. They're beyond what you would expect on this planet. They've done a lot of work over the years. The thing that was the most wonderful was, I gave them an opportunity to bid on a project. I gave the job to somebody else who burnt the roof and did a lot of damage. I didn't have confidence in those people coming back to make the repairs, which were their fault. They didn't have confidence either if they could do it. I called Coastal Roofing back and I said, "The job that I didn't give you, they messed it up and there is a lot of damage." The guy came out. It was February and he restored it all. He did a wonderful job and just helped me so much with it. It was a rental property and people wanted to stay. In one unit, they couldn't possibly have stayed. But, he just worked on it constantly and just did a fabulous job. I was so thankful and sorry I didn't give him the job initially. He stood behind this other guy's work. He took responsibility for it. He just saved the whole situation. I've given him other jobs and I've never had to call him back on anything. His work is really good.

I've never had to call him back on anything. His work is really good. He's done a lot of jobs for me. I am a landlord, I have a lot of property. I wish he did all kinds of roofing. I've asked him to do other kind of roofing but he just does flat roofs. He doesn't do different kinds of tiles and different kinds of shingles and things like that. He doesn't do everything and he'll just tell you, that is not what I do. I glad for that. He never does anything shoddy. I've never had any complaints from tenants or neighbors.

Coastal Roofing replaced the roof on my house and barn. Both are beautiful! George at Coastal Roofing was professional; friendly and price was competitive. I have confidently recommended them many times! After all these years... leak proof.
