Charm City Movers was fantastic! The customer service was great. They were very attentive and patient. When I kept changing the dates and the items we wanted to move, they were always accommodating. We had a number of very heavy pieces that we needed to move into a three story row home. They sent over four guys who were right on time. The minute they walked into our home, they were kind, considerate and had a good attitude. I remember each of them shook my hand and with a smile said, " It is a pleasure to meet you". It is hard to find that kind of service these days. With regards to the actual moving of the very heavy furniture, they carried multiple pieces down one flight of stairs and up two flights of stairs without any damage. They were extremely careful and clearly professional. With some of the pieces all four of the men participated just to make sure nothing was damaged. Two carried the furniture while one guided the front and one guided the back. All in all it was a great experience.

I've used Charm City Movers before. They are great. I gave them a B for punctuality because they were later than planned. Another customer before me needed a little extra help and they kept me informed as they went. They provided extra manpower because they were late and we needed to be out by a certain time. They know how to treat the customer right. All the movers and support persons on the phone were great and very professional.

Hi Chris, I wasn't there for the move, but everything went smoothly according to my daughter. They did a great job, especially considering the ridiculous number of stairs we had them climbing up and down. Pretty much everything arrived in perfect condition, I am really impressed. Thanks also for your help and the way you and your company make the process so easy to do. I especially liked that I could do a checklist of the furniture and number of boxes, receive a quote the same day, change the checklist and box number as often as needed right up to day of move, getting a quick new quote each time.

They could not take the job but were very helpful and polite. I would definitely call them again.

prompt, efficient and without damage

Fantastic. Not inexpensive, but the four-man crew was courteous, strong, and exquisitely careful with my grandmother's antiques. Plus, they were super nice people whom I'd be glad to refer to anyone: a real plus.

It went great! I had to make several changes to the inventory that was being moved and Tammy was prompt in providing revised quotes and responding to emails. The guys called before they came, were on time and everything was moved quickly and properly. I also loved this company because they quoted by the number of items to be moved. I was only moving one large piece of furniture and a lot of smaller items so paying this way saved me some money.

It went well. Charm City movers moved me out of my old 2 bdrm apartment to a 1 bedroom in under 3 hours! They were polite, careful, and put things where I asked them to. Customer Service was outstanding in scheduling my move, providing suggestions prior to moving, and then checking in on me to see if everything went well. I would use them again in a heartbeat!

Quintan and Moses are very polite. They handled our furniture carefully, and tried their best to keep our home clean. They moved our furniture to our new home (~40 miles away) very efficiently.

Chris, the dispatcher for charm city was busy and very helpful. Moses and AJ the movers did an exceptional job loading and maximizing the space, saving me $$. The load is stable and not stacked to the ceiling of the container. They were very careful with the family heirlooms. Much thanks and God Bless you Moses and AJ.

I told Felix exactly what I needed moved. She gave me a price and stuck with it. The move was scheduled quickly. The movers were very focused on the job, professional and friendly. There was no damage. They went out of their way to place my furniture exactly where I wanted it.

The move went seamlessly thanks to the crew mentioned above. Felix (the person in the office) was also very great at getting back to me with quotes and setting up the move. We would definitely use their services again, especially with the crew mentioned above.

Everything was excellent from the office staff that I talked to on the phone to all the movers. We were very happy with the move! They were very professional and personable. The move was done quickly and easily.

Everything was beyond wonderful! The folks in the office are on the ball and the actual movers were super nice, quick, and friendly. I HIGHLY recommend them. Also, Charm City does a fixed price move so there are no hidden costs or hourly rates to worrry about. Fantastic company!

Destroyed all of my major furniture sets, stated they could provide 42.00 in damages....but would increase it to 200.00 to go above and beyond. Customer service was excellent from the start, which is why this was worse than experiencing it from an unprofessional moving company. This company came well recommended from Angie's list, and the attention to customer service sold me on the higher flat rate move. I have had bad experience in the past with hourly movers, and loved working with this company to set everything up. The movers were professional and very nice, but were attempting to get everything done as quickly as possible. I understand that. They moved a table with leaves, two leather couches, and a king size faux leather bed (all purchased within last year). While moving, one of the movers kicked over a planter with rocks on the steps of the home. I was not upset about it, but was upset that I stepped on the glass when I went back later at night. They had not cleaned it up. They unpacked the furniture and left, boxes on top of the table and furniture up against walls. As I was moving things around on the moving day I noticed 1 leaf on the table was completely broken, a huge hole in the side of my bed frame (that clearly would have been noticeable when they put it back together), and two holes and shreds on the end of my couch. I immediately contacted Felix at the company on this concern, as the website assures furniture will be padded to prevent this. She responded back immediately asking for photos, apologizing, and offering the repair man to first evaluate the damage. Sent pictures, heard nothing. Followed up, and resent the photos. Get a response back that the repairman doesnt come to my county, that there is nothing they can do for leather or faux leather furniture anyway, they are not insured, there is no claim process, and to do me a favor (they apologize I went through this), they would increase the 42.00 weight damage to 200.00. I expect that from bad moving company, but not this level of professionalism. This is horrible. Mistakes happen, but there should be accountability when they do. They were not careful with my furniture, I was given no disclosure that they could freely damage all my furniture and there would be nothing I could do about it. The furniture was overly large for the new apartment, and I planned on selling it to get smaller items. I am now stuck with overly large furniture in a tiny apartment with ripped (very obvious) holes in it. 42.00? For my entire furniture sets. Ruined. This company will use great customer service to hide the fact they overly charge, they will damage your items, and you will never see it coming that there is no recourse action when they damage it all in a hurry.

One broken table, missing parts to some items, numerous scratches on furniture, clearly labeled boxes left on wrong floors in new house, and a lot of dents and scratches on walls in new house.

Move went great! Would definitely use these guys again. Extremely hot day outside. Quinton and his crew arrived on time, were courteous & respectful. They really hustled despite the hot temps. Very meticulous not to damage any of my possessions or the buildings I was moving out of and into. Felix and Chris in the office were also very helpful...promptly answering my calls and dealing with my questions and concerns. Great overall experience.
