Budget Dumpster Rental

Rented a 30 yard dumpster with 2 ton limit to clean out my garage. Filled up the garage in about 3 hours with the help of a friend. They came & collected the dumpster 2 days later & we paid $699 as per contract. Several weeks later I get another bill for $1747 for overage of 18 tons!!!! That's right, total weight of 20 tons or 40,000 pounds!! No way between the 2 of us, we could have moved 40,000 lbs which is equivalent of more than 13 cars! But no way for us to prove it. They have the credit card number from the initial payment so they just charge it. Very dishonest business. BEWARE!

At first everything seemed fine. We rented a dumpster and it was delivered on time and picked up when requested. Thought that was it; however, several weeks later, we got an additional charge on our credit card for an overage fee of 4 tons. There is no way that what we cleaned out of our basement (no heavy furniture--just clutter and plastic bins) weighed 5 tons. We questioned the charges and were given an "invoice" that had the weight handwritten on it. Comes down to our word against theirs, so no way to resolve the issue other than helping others to not get ripped off as well.
